Hogwarts: Sign-Up and Discussion

Okay :D Before you go you should post something like you will be sent out from school for some time or sent to your home for a moment or to hospital or what ever :D
 
I just posted now and I have to say, it could open up to a whole new plot. Possibly even to the rising of a new Dark Lord! And if you've already read my post by now, you'll notice Faith has these "visions" she experiences. These have only been happening over the summer, so you'll have to act as if it's something new that you've seen if you're near her.
 
sorry for the distinct lack of posts the computer at home isnt mine and is passworded so i only really get a chance to post when im out or at friends houses.
 
Ofc you can. The world and the RP is for anyone. One question, are you going to be a Gryfindorian? It's just that, theres a great amount of these. Hufflepuf and Ravanclaw is low on characters. Just wanting to know better if you what i mean. You can chose your own Home. I was just telling you which was crowded.
 
I was going to be ravenclaw from the start so no worries there.

Ravenclaw suits my personallity anyway, I'm the smart guy in my class.
 
But there are also smart guys in other houses (i.e. Hermione) and in this RP, I think Faith and I fit that description as well. (And Yah, I'm also the smart guy in class in RL.)

BTW... When you've posted your character, you've got to wait for it to be approved by Santa (aKa Danny/Rene Skylar or whatever username he's using).
 
(I thought of making a secondary Character to accompany Mark)

Name: Peter Magnius

Age: 16 and a half

Year: Sixth

Appearance:

Casual Clothing: While not with the School Clothing, Peter likes going out with black sleveless shirts, nlack trousers and black and white trainers. He usually uses his white cap.

School Clothing: The usual Slytherin clothes. The robes, the uniform to be exact.

Personality: Cold towards others. Only warmfull towards those who knows him and he trusts. He is a very calm and quiet person but, once provoked he completly turns to be the opposite. He also like bullying weaker persons. When he sees Mark, he instantly stops it.

First Impression: When first meet, he doesn't open to anyone. He only talks when he needs to and when he is anxious to say something rather mean.

Knowledge: He is also a briliant student. He and Mark were once considered, in the world of magic, the most knowledgable youngsters of all time after Albus Dumbledore. Whilist not so knowledgable as Mark in spells, he compenses it by mastering the ones he knows.

Wand Type:

History: Peter is a Pure blood and descend from a familly that hates muggles and half-wizards. Like his familly he also doens't like them. At the age of 10 he met Mark and little by little he got better with his attitude towards muggles and half-wizards.

At the age of 14, he and Mark were already learning advanced spells and hunting down dangerous magical creatures, with some help of the adults of course.

At the age of 17 he went to Hogwarts to get one more year of trainin and to meet his old friend Mark. He feels alone when not near him.

Yes but in the books it mentioned that the hat was struggling to pic Hermione for Revenclaw or Grinfindoor as she was intelligent. In the end I guess she was braver and truer to her friends so she got in Grinfindoor.

Here's my Character.

Name: Cyan Alexander Shador

Parents:
Father: Half Blood.

Age: 15

Year: Fifth Year Ravenclaw.

Appearance: [/FONT]This.

Casual Clothing: Cyan normally wears a black full length coat along with a white shirt and jeans and sometimes wears a black hat which makes him look like a gentleman. Cyan wears casual clothing like a normal person but often wears coats as he likes them. Normally Cyan’s notebook can be found on the inside pocket of his black coat.

School Clothing: Cyan wears the normal uniform with the robe arranged like a long coat, Cyan has his spell notebook hanging from a golden chain on his right hip but this is the only thing different.

Personality: Cyan is intelligent, calm and kind. Cyan looks to get things right and almost always does but at the same time Cyan stays calm and shows a lack of emotions while always being kind to good people. Cyan normally acts like a gentleman in the sense he always considers ladies first and is always kind to the female gender and refuses to hurt a girl. Cyan is the kind of person who is good at leading but never wants to lead but sit back and help.

First Impression: Cyan would be seen as a intelligent and handsome Ravenclaw fifth year, Cyan is normally reading his notebook or some spell book or doing things in a calm manner making him look like a gentleman.

Knowledge: Cyan knows a mother loud of spells and so the result is that he carries around a dark blue notebook with all his useful spells in it. This notebook contains hundreds of spells already as Cyan makes a hobby of recording new spells. This is made easier as Cyan seems to master most spells with little effort. Cyan’s specialty in a sense is charms as he tends to memorize these better.

Wand Type: Elm with Phoenix Feather core, 16” long.

History: Cyan was raised well with full knowledge of the world of magic and was even allowed to study and memorize spells from an early age. Since the age of eight Cyan has been writing spells down in a notebook which he keeps on him at all times, the result of this is a vast collection of useful spells coupled with some funny and useless ones as well. Cyan went to Hogwarts like any other wizard and was accepted into Ravenclaw and became a proper Ravenclaw in the sense of intelligence. Cyan has spent his time at Hogwarts and has enjoyed it but this year he was to arrive at School late because of a holiday with his parents.

Hmm...seeing as though Rage is making a side chareacter that he uses as a companion, maybe i should do one for the other npc i was using since i am going to use her alot?
 
Then we would have the problem of the thread fulling up with NPC's, you can just write a good description of the character over a few posts as its a lot easier and we don't pile this thread up with NPC's.
 
Generally we should create the NPC characters in the RP, they don't need there own bio okies? Sorry I havent been active it's just my internet has been really ghey, I'll try to catch up :)
 
Santa didn't say anything about my character so from reading through this I take I'm approved then.

Ok lets catch up reading the RP and try and get myself into this.
 
Name: Jimmy Knight

Age: 14

Year: 4th

Blood: Half blood. Mum is a wizard. Dad is a muggle.

House: Gryffindor

Appearance: Weight: 63kg Height: 1.72 meters. Jimmy is an average size well built young man. His skin is white although his cheeks are slightly red making it seem like he is embarrassed, which is not the case. He has short dark brown hair and small light brown eyes.

Normal clothing: Jimmy uses blue jeans with a black belt. He likes to wear different types of shirts (each with a different patern) with the sleeves bent, usually when it's not hot he uses a t-shirt beneath his shirt.

School Clothing: Jimmy does not use the robes as he does not really like them, instead he simply uses the standard trousers and sweatshirt. He has three pairs of trousers and 5 pairs of sweatshirts to change during the week.

Personality: Jimmy is somewhat of a clumsy person when it comes to talking with other people, he's pretty brave and never backs down from a challenge, but unfortunately when it comes to human relations he never says the right thing and often people think he is a rude guy because of it. He also tends to stress a lot during the exams he as to take but usually does well as he studies enough. It's hard for Jimmy to make new friends and as such he usually walks with the same crowd or alone, teachers tend to like him although some consider him to be arrogant when in fact Jimmy simply can't express himself very well. Overall he does what he can to help his fellow classmen or anyone else who needs assistance, and so once you get to know him well enough you'll see that he's a good guy to be around with.

First Impression: Quiet and serious. Some actually think he's in the wrong house because they don't know him very well.

Knowledge: Jimmy knows all of the basic spells that he learned in his first 3 school years. Since he spends some time alone Jimmy dedicated a part of his free time learning spells which are a few years above the knowledge of a common 4th year student, he tends to memorize things well and therefore he doesn't have much trouble mastering most spells and charms. He's not very good at mixing potions.

Wand Type: Oak with Phoenix feather 12 1/2'' long

History: Jimmy was a normal young boy like all others when at the age of 10 he received a letter from Hogwarts. Unfortunately for Jimmy his father was unaware that either his son or wife were wizards, as Jimmy's mother had kept the truth hidden from him. His father nearly had an heart attack after witnessing who his son and wife were and left them. This was a major trauma for Jimmy who spent the 1st year at Hogwarts without hearing a word from his father, however his mother who was a strong woman raised him and gave him the affection he needed. Things were bound to change one year later in July when his father came back home to join his family again, he was sorry for his actions, that was Jimmys most happy day in recent memory.
