Eden= 250 (thats max i guess jap and am vesion max is diff )

My best outside of Eden was Bahamut with 250.

But, seriously, if you want a challenge, use a rapid fire controller with it. One press on an X and you're at 75. You can get 250 with Quetz that way. Truthfully, I don't think there's any other way that doesn't end with either blisters or twitching fingers afterwards.

And yes, I know the rapid fire is cheating. But then again, just buying the game guide is cheating. But lots of people do it...
 
so how come i cant get 255 but some ppl can? i can only go to 250 on any one gf and a lot of ppl have said 255 are they liying or is it version diff?

*shrugs* Not sure why and no, I don't think people are lying and I'm sure there's no version difference. As I'm sure you know, you're not going to get 255 on every GF no matter how hard you try, but if anything, with enough practice you should be able to get 255 with Eden's long intro. :cool:

Although, that's far to obvious. I got 200 with Leviathan like once, normally I get about 180, so I was well proud with myself.
 
i think like most i made 250 odd with eden,

made 175 with shiva once, however im replaying the game now so give me timeand ill be able to post more
 
I'm playing the game on my crappy computer now, and the keyboard I'm using is pretty crap too, so I usually don't get very high :(
But I did manage to get 160 ish with Quezacotl. I was just lucky..
 
with an autofire controller 255 all the time but without it i can push maybe 160-180 ish. Pisses me off when you press the button at the wrong time and the number resets itself.

I think that my higest ever Boost was with Quetziwhatsisface and i got to around 100 ish, i never used to be good at the Boost thing and after completeing the game i got to put it down and never pick it up again so i didn't need to get used to it.
 
My highest was 255 with Eden of course (thanks to my old auto shark remote controller and longest summon attack scene ever!) but aside from that, my highest was 235 with Bahamut using the same remote.
 
I got 137 with Quezacotl which is quite good as far as I'm concerned as it's a very short sequence. And NO I didn't use a gameshark controller, I used a normal one, I was quite proud of myself TBH. :D
 
I managed to frequent anything in the range of 140-170 with the Quezacotl, Shiva and Ifrit; 170-190 with Siren, Brothers, Leviathan and Alexander; 190-210 with Doomtrain and 255 with Bahamut and Eden. Of course, I was often left with the horizontal triangle from the select button imprinted on my thumb and a rather dead right arm afterwards.
 
I was playing the PC version and I didn't know how to boost for the majority of the game. I only discovered how to boost around three quarters of the way into the game so I didn't get a chance to boost too much. My general boost was 120 with summons like Ifrit, Shiva, Siren, Quezacolt ect.. I think I made it to around 250 with Eden though.
