Heh heh he's pretty much the only character from the original series thats in this, Faith should know who I'm talking about and as for the mysterious man (who isn't so mysterious it's just Ocelot (Gabs) ) Something shocking will be revealed about him soon enough...

ok Rene when are you going to post your next chapter? i'm posting now so you don't have to double post to add the next chapter.

Sorry guys, but i'm having problems with my laptop at the moment and can only get on here via my PS3 so it'll be a while before you see any new chapters

wait, your on the forums on a PS3? ah sweet, now i can get my sister to stop bugging me as soon as i get my dad to hook it up. Rene, you just bought me a lot of time on the comp. i owe you one man.

Everyone I Had Better Apologise Now For Shadows Increase In Activity!!! :p

That won't be for a very long time matey. Your power is very weak at first

your power to corrupt minds pales in comparsion in my power to crush the human body and soul.

You know, I just might get a PSP for the internet ... it seems that everything is out to stop me from using the internet. First, my laptop and now the computer at home ... least I can still use my dad's computer during the week.

This chapter is based solely on a new character, Damien (hmm I wonder who that could be?) and Zenan. Enjoy!

Chapter 4: Break In

“Yo Damien! Get your butt over here and fix the goddamn machine!” Damien Delvo’s boss shouted from the other side of the bar. Damien sighed and put the glass he was cleaning gently onto the gleaming table top surface. “Hurry it up will ya!”

“I’m comin’ boss!” Damien shouted to the tall black man at the other end of the large room standing next to the vending machine for cigs. As he examined himself in the mirror quickly he smiled at his long dark hair and
dark but kind eyes. Damien turned away from his image and walked over
to where his boss was. The bar Damien worked in was called Nightingales,
he was one of the very few male workers as the boss preferred to keep a
more female based work shift to draw in the customers, it was a large
dark purple building and very fancy. Well it raked in some money at least.

“Try and fix this damned machine!” Damien’s boss growled kicking the
machine next to him. Damien’s boss was called Leon, he was very tall, at
least 6”8 and was very muscular, despite this he didn’t scare Damien at
all, the pair of them had known each other since they were kids and were
pretty much the only friends who were opposite races in their
neighbourhood.

“Heh heh, the machines beatin’ ya again Leon?” Damien asked cheekily
before opening the back of the machine. He instantly figured out the
problem. “The motor’s jammed is what’s wrong with it.”

“What the-? You ain’t even looked at the goddamn motor yet!” Leon said annoyed that Damien was lying. Damien sighed for a moment before pulling out the piece of cartilage that had jammed itself in the motors rotor. The machine whirred back into life and Leon apologised quietly before storming
off back into his office.

“Maybe I shouldn’t have said anything… Just fixed it…” Damien said to
himself as he shut the machine, he then grinned “Naaah it’s too fun
annoyin’ him.”

Damien stood up and knocked on Leon’s door before opening it and
shouting in, “Yo Leon I’m gonna go and get some air, want anything from
the store?”

“Nah man, actually get me some smokes! I hate the ones in that damned
machine!” Leon shouted back, Damien heard him turn the TV on loudly to
the football game and Damien sighed.

“Alrighty man, see ya soon bro’” Damien shouted back as he walked away,
as he walked towards the door a tall, slender and beautiful woman walked
in, she had long brown curly hair and smooth long legs. Damien couldn’t
keep his eyes off her and stumbled over as he bashed into a chair. She
giggled slightly and Damien smiled.

“Hey stranger. The boss around?” Trixie Dale asked Damien, Damien was
speachless as usual and just nodded towards Leon’s door as usual. Trixie
was Leon’s step-sister and worked nights behind the bar, sometimes with
Damien.

“Trixie!” Damien shouted out for no reason at all, she turned around and
smiled at him.

“What is it hun?” Trixie asked, hey blue eyes shone slightly and her face
was smooth and perfect, surprisingly Leon’s mom got together with a
white guy who had a daughter, he died and Trixie stayed with them.

“Umm… Will you.. Uhh… maybe… go on a date with me sometime?” Damien
stuttered. Trixie smiled slightly.

“Yeah sure, I’d like that.” She smiled again before turning away and
walking towards Leon’s office, as she opened the door she turned back to
Damien and winked. As the door closed behind her Damien’s legs finally
gave in and he had to grab the side of the chair before he fell over.

“H-H-Hooooly shi-”

~~~~~~~
The base was heavily guarded by dogs, men with guns and apparently
automated machine guns, and to think the machine guns were the safest
thing for Zenan. He was dressed in full army camouflage gear and had a
Bluetooth headset earpiece in his ear.
“Zenan, you awake?” The familiar voice of Ocelot sounded in his ear.
“Oh you really think I’m gonna go to sleep here?” Zenan remarked quietly
but loud enough for Ocelot to hear. Ocelot chuckled
“Ok then, your earpiece is Bluetooth so hopefully if this work all you’ve
gotta do is send a message to the automated machine guns to turn off.
Once that’s done you rush to the fence as soon as it’s clear and cut open
a small section of the fence just big enough for you to get in.
“Right, then I bust on in and set the satellite to work for you whenever
you want huh?”
“Well… Actually…” Ocelot said unhappily
“What?” Zenan snapped slightly louder than he wanted to.
“The satellite is just a secondary objective now, we received intel that
one of our operatives, a high ranking officer actually, is being held captive
in the detention facility. I want you to break him out and then get the hell
outta dodge. Oh and if you sort out the satellite then that’s a bonus.”
“To my pay check?”
“To your life.” Ocelot said evilly.
“Fine, I’ll do it.” Zenan said angrily spotting what he needed, high above in
a guard tower was an automated machine gun. He concentrated on it and
using the Bluetooth headset he told the machine gun to shut down. He
also found out that the machine gun could turn all the others off and also
find out with holding cell their operative is in. Zenan told this to Ocelot.
“Do it, but be careful, make it look like a glitch and as soon as your inside
turn the ones that can’t harm you back on. Oh and good job at finding out
exactly where our person is.”
Zenan turned off the machines and found out where the operative was.
As soon as he did this he sprinted forward with the wire cutters in hand
and swiftly cut through the fence. As soon as he was through he rolled to
the side and hid himself behind a crate as an armed guard walked past.
“Okay, if you head straight ahead towards the large dome lookin’ building
you should be able to break in, once you do you’ll find yourself in the
venting system of the base.” Ocelot said to Zenan. Zenan obliged and ran
straight ahead keeping low, as soon as he was at the building he took out
the automatic lock pick and broke into the building. Just as Ocelot said
the room was filled with vents.
“On your immediately left there should be a large vent cover, break it
open.” Ocelot said, Zenan gabbed the cover and ripped it loose from the
wall. He got back inside and carefully placed the cover over the hole
making it appear completely normal.
“Good, infiltration is complete, once your underground we won’t be able to
contact you, we’ve sent the schematics of the base through to your PDA
so if you get lost…”
“I know, I know.” Zenan muttered happy at not having to hear Ocelot’s
voice for a while.
“Good luck Zenan. Ocelot out.” Zenan may have imagined it but he could
have sworn that Ocelot actually sounded genuinely worried. The intercom
died but Zenan kept the earpiece in just in case he needed the Bluetooth.
Zenan crawled forwards as quietly as he could, for about 10 minutes he
was as quiet as a mouse until… Bam! The segment of vent we has
crawling in was loose and he had gone crashing down into the small room
underneath. As Zenan crawled out of the vent groaning and clutching his
head he noticed that the room was completely empty. Zenan’s head spun
round as he heard the light tapping of a single person coming towards him,
Zenan looked around and touched the light switch, telling it to turn off
and stay off no matter what. It did so and Zenan crouched down next to
the door as it swung open.
“Dear oh dear. Rats again.” A tall, frail looking bald man said. Zenan seized
the chance, he closed the door quickly and as the man turned around to
see why it had gone pitch black he grabbed him stealthily before making
him go unconscious.
“Thank you Splinter Cell…” Zenan muttered to himself as he put the man
into a large cabinet. Zenan opened the door and glanced out quickly. No
one was around so Zenan left the room. He quickly checked his PDA and
found that he was only 50 metres from the central control room, if he
could get in there then he could get the satellite and at least then that
would be done. He turned the corner and gasped silently as a soldier
walked away from him, the soldier hadn’t seen him but that would change
if he even turned around for a second. Zenan opened the nearest door
and walked in, he closed the door and sighed happily when he realised the
room was empty. According to his PDA the central control room was just
next door. Zenan looked around before happily spotting what he needed, a
long but low vent was on the side of the room heading towards the
central control room, he pried the vent open and slid in, making sure he
didn’t make a sound. He crawled forward and broke open the vent ahead
and smiled as a large almost empty room. Two scientists were on the
computers spread around the room and an armed guard stood at the door.
Hmm, Zenan thought, how the heck can I hack the computer with all
these people around… Oh I know! I’ll use my Bluetooth headset! Zenan
chuckled to himself before concentrating on the largest computer there.
He concentrated as hard as he could but he was refused entry. Damn
they must have one goooooood antivirus.
“Guess I’ll have to do this the old fashioned way…” Zenan whispered whilst
taking out his PDA and setting it to infrared. He directed the aerial at the
computer and tapped a few keys on the PDA and smiled as it began to
work, slowly but surely. “Signal’s a bit weak…” Zenan whispered, he
concentrated on the PDA and watched as the signal bar steadily began to
get bigger.
“EXTERNAL INFRARED DETECTED!” A very loud speaker bellowed from the
computer. “EXTERNAL INFRARED DETECTED! CODE 5617!” This time the
scientists went berserk, they rushed to the computer and furiously tapped
some keys but to no avail, by the time the second announcement had
even happened Zenan had done his work and set the satellite to work for
Ocelot whenever he wanted. Zenan sneaked away from the scene and
accessed the map on his PDA once more. According to the map the
detention centre was only one level down and that a vent leading
downwards was only 5 metres away from Zenan. He quickly found it and
bashed it open before dropping down, he crashed through the second
cover and felt a thump as he landed on a soldiers head. Zenan couldn’t
tell whether he was dead but that didn’t matter know, someone had set
off the alarm and now the entire building was lit with red lights.
“INTRUDER DETECTED! DETENTION LEVEL 5!” Zenan cursed to himself. The
level he wanted was level 1 and it turns out that that’s even lower. Zenan
bashed through the nearest doors to the stairwell and legged it down
them. As he neared the mid way point, bullets sprayed down the stairwell
in his direction. He jumped forwards and rolled as bullets sprayed the spot
where he had just been stood. He bashed through the door.
“INTRUDER HAS MOVED TO DETENTION LEVEL 2!” The same computer
voice shouted out, Zenan concentrated on the alarm and shut it off,
despite this however he knew that the soldiers would quickly figure out he
had shut them down and still pursue him. Zenan slid into an open vent and
fell as he quickly realised there was no ground beneath him, he slammed
into another vent and fell onto his back as he finally hit the ground. He
groaned for a few minutes before managing to get up, he stumbled to the
wall slightly and looked at his PDA. He stumbled forward and put his hand
on an electric lock. He opened it and fell face forwards into the cell.
“’Bout damn time they got me out of here.” A young slender woman said
as she helped Zenan onto her bed. “You look pretty banged up, lucky you
didn’t get shot.”
“Who are you?” Zenan asked as he sat up and leaned against the wall.
The woman closed the cell door quietly.
“More to the point, who the hell are you?” She said as she tended to
Zenans back.
“Zenan Aora. Ocelot sent me to get you out of here.” Zenan told her as
he winced in pain at her touch.
“Sorry ‘bout that, and this.” She said as she touched his skin again
causing him to buck in pain. As soon as it finished however he felt
perfectly normal.
“How did you…? “How’d you do that?” Zenan asked.
“Ever heard of shock therapy?” She asked as she put her hand up and
summoned a ball of electricity. “By the way, name’s Fusion.”
