FFX-2 help me plz.. ff X-2

erm.. at the beginning of the game, they found have a sphere is inside besaid village, then i cant go into the village because there need to find 4 numbers to open the door.. after i found 4 numbers, but there is still show me " there appears to be some kind of switch", somebody help me out pls.. thank you very much!
 
The cave is sort of hard to find and you can't see it. Start by going to the beach area. Then go to the next screen. The next screen has the ramp you go up on the left to the 3rd screen. On the ramp to the far left in the corner, press X there and it should show you a door and ask you if you have the 4 ciphers. Then you can input them and the door will open to the cave where the sphere is. Best of luck!
 
no..l i mean i already found the 4 ciphers and that door to go in the cave.. but when i press X infront of door.. there is still say " there appears to be some kind of switch ", there is no password input for me.. but i already find all 4 ciphers.. is it u juz press X when u found a ciphers then u got it already right??
 
It should let u input the 4 digit pw even before u found the ciphers. Maybe bugged.
 
most likely missing something. You DID start up the "Wheres Wakka" mission from lulu right?
 
You need to go into the village part and find Lulu. That will start the "Wheres Wakka" mission and that should give you access to the door.

If that doesn't work, then start over. You're not that for into the game, so it won't hurt.
 
but i cannot go into village now.. i cant find a way to go in.. if who know which way can go in thn tell me plz.. FFX is swim over the river thn only reach the village.. but this cannot swim, so i duno how im gonna go into the village..
 
Well, if you can't get back into the village i can suggest two options for you, the first less time consuming than the second, but here they are;

1. Go to a save point, and go back to the airship, from there, return to Besaid and it should reset what you have done there, If this doesn't work then you will have to try option 2.

2. Start a new game, but this time, when inside of Besaid Village, find and speak to Lulu before leaving the village, i think she is stood in the circle where yuna First summons Valefor in FFX
 
Well, try your best to follow the map with the way you got in. If your at the cipher door you should be able to get back to the village. There's no river or anything blocking you from getting back to the village. After crossing the bridge with the waterfall, in the next screen is the cipher door. It should be as simple as going back the way you came, crossing the waterfall bridge again then taking a left at the area with the small shrine. Follow the path and your in Besaid Village.

When you first enter the village you meet Wakka. Then you have to go into Lulu's house, then rest at the big house (not the inn), then you can start entering the cave.

As for putting in the ciphers but still not being able to get in, there should be a switch you have to select in the same area as the door. There's a lot of bush in that screen so you may have to just wander around hitting X, but its there. Assuming you'd still be having trouble with the door. It's been a couple years at least since I've played, so I'm a little fuzzy. Thankfully I have the strategy guide with me though.

Unless there's a bug it really shouldn't be that hard. Usually with these its one small thing your missing, like talking to somebody or finding a hidden exit to a screen.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I seem to interpret your problem here as being that you can't find a way to get back to Besaid village from the area past the waterfall near the beach. You mention that in FFX, you had to swim up to reach the hillsides outside the village. That is correct, but the actual way of getting to the village is to go up north from the screen with the entrance to the cipher cave and follow the linear path that passes in front of the waterfall.

If you know this and have reached the village, that's fine. But I wanted to point this out because you seem to be stuck on how to reach the village. About the cipher numbers, just look out for glimmers of light in various places. I know two is in the beach area, one is before the waterfall and one is on a hillside outside the village.
 
For actually finding the four ciphers there is an easier than looking for glimmers of light, just look on the minimap for purple dots, and thats where the ciphers are.
 
I know where your at and what the problem is. From the save point you start at the village is on your left (of the screen that is). Go there and talk to Wakka and Lulu, stay the night, and talk to Lulu again. Then you will have to find the 4 numbers and enter them in the door. Careful as no one knows what order they go as it shuffles and is random. Then you just got to go through the cave and fight the boss at the end.

You problem is, you didn't start the quest. So follow what I said and you will have no problem getting the door open.
