Hello all,
I want to start buy saying how embarrassed i am to be getting on the forums so late. I sadly just found out about ffxiv and am so so pissed at myself. FFXI was my favorite game of all time, im even considering ff7 from before I was into MMORPG's.
I made it to 70 in ffxi early on(rdm/nin) in around mid to late 2004 i want to say, I have not played sine abuot 2005 or so. I have went on to try all the other mmorpgs, well most anyway, maxing several wow accounts and have never once has the same fealing I did in ffxi. I shudder to even use wow and ffxi in the same sentence. Basically FFXI was so good, it runined my ablity to enjoy other mmorpgs, keep in mind i still played them.
I can't wait to spend the next few days reading all about my new love that will be ffxiv. I'm so excited to be back in Vana'diel world again of sprawling plains, drak caves, and brutal islands. I hope i still get the chance to compete for the best loot, not just instance it and hope, I want to spend hours and hours grining to get phalex again.
I know ill be on here alot and though I should say hi to everyone. I was named Lohr on bahamut server and made several great friendships (ashes and rehont if you are out there anywhere) but sadly had some medical stuff come up and wasn't ale to keep playing only to loose my account info and everything and never make it back.
Knowing there will once again be a ff game in the mmorpg real i can finally quit hoping and start anticipating. Feel free to send me any email or im's if you reconize me, but i know thats a slim chance from years ago, Im just so happy to be back in ff life
