Havent played FF in a while and need help

Can any one tell me which FF game has the White Dragon. It has been a while since I played and I wanted to play the FF with the with dragon. This is all I can remember, the character is walking on the map and comes to a white dragon that is blocking the path. You have to defeat the dragon to continue, later you find out that the dragon was actual one of the other characters mothers. Thanks a ton for your help.
 
I'm going to move this to Final Fantasy Miscellaneous...since its more of a question really than a topic for general discussion.

...and to be honest, while I haven't played all of the games, Youtube is saying there are two Final Fantasy games with white dragons in them. There is one in Final Fantasy IV, and one or more in IX. So I hope that helps you jog your memory a bit :lew:
 
It could be IV as stated above which is a Mist Dragon that you fight near the beginning, or it could be IX where Kuja has a white/silver Dragon you fight near the end of the game.
 
It's Final Fantasy IV that you're looking for, you can find it on the PSP or the remake on the DS.
 
Oh, yeah, didn't read through the OP thoroughly :olivia: The one you're looking for is Final Fantasy IV. Currently playing that one myself.
 
I wonder why you are asking this question? Remember it as a good game or just trying to recall for answering someone (I hate that feeling of not remembering the title when you remember everything else..>_<)
