A huge spider came into the room and I just managed to trap it in a glass. What the hell do I do at this time of night? I've a huge fear of spiders, especially the huge ones that have MASSIVE legs. :gasp:
 
No! It'll poison me from within if I even dare to attempt to open my mouth and all hell will be unleashed! It'll be a damned apocalypse!
 
Seriously though..

I don't know. Put paper under it, take it to the nearest window and then slide the paper from under it and run.

Or... Take it in the paper and put it outside with the glass on it. Then use a stick to poke the glass to knock it over and run. Then come back a bit later to collect the glass.

Well, the stepmother already trapped it in the glass and threw it out a few minutes ago. But I don't get why she's not scared of them, weird. Are there even such things as poisonous spiders? I'm sure I've heard it somewhere ...
 
yeah... we have brown recluses here, their poison is flesh eating and you get sent to the hospital immediately after being bitten. This girl I know got bitten and it took like two weeks for them to get the flesh eating poison out of her.

I freakin hate spiders QQ

Kill spiders on sight!
 
Well, I don't mean touch them, never, just throw something or use a weapon with reach :D
 
there are plenty of poisonous spiders out there...some not-so-poisonous and some deadly poisonous such as the black widow but they r no reason to be feard as they usually do not bite people and if they do bite they have antidotes for most deadly (and there are veary few deadly ones out there) and others will just leave a red spot...the red spot usually cears in a few days...

next time leave it in there and let the sucker SUFFER THE PAIN OF SUFFOCATION!
 
You are pretty safe in the UK though.

Occassionally you'll hear stories and people will get bitten where spiders have travelled across from other areas. Fatal / harmful spider bites aren't something we are to worry so much about here.
 
Meh, I'm not worried about poisonous spiders over here because I kinda thought they weren't around. On the other hand, I did know about them being elsewhere and such. Still makes me wonder why the hell spiders exist, other than the purpose to eat the flies for us. >_>
 
not even in the states, the only person i ever heard of being bit my a deadly was some famous guy (chester from linkin park) and that was cuz he was in some other country south of here (not sure which) and basically is no big deal

Technically, all spiders are poisonous. Most just aren't strong enough to have any significant effect on humans, or even small animals.
