Gundam Seed- the RP

As the Freedom headed for Alaska at it's top speed Stephen took note of the Gawain chasing after it and then another feint blip came up on the screen, the blitz. Stephen smiled as he noticed the Blitz but left it as he could tell the captain of the archangel would have sent her. "this could get interesting" he muttered under his breathe.

"Hey Stephan looks like your not going alone" came over the radio making Stephen smirk "I guess not" he replied. the Freedom slowed down and allowed for the Gawain to catch up with it.
 
Zeria sighed.

"It seems he's charting a course to Alaska...I wonder why though...."

She called into the Archangel, giving them the little tidbits of info she had, then closed off the connection and continued to follow the Freedom.
~What could he be up to? And why didn't he report to the Archangel?~
 
OOC: Zeria, i am no longer a member of the Archangel's crew like the others i am now a pilot piloting from the Raven's nest ship Albion.

IC: The Freedom spun around a couple of times and dropped to such a low altitude that as it extended it's arm his hand passed through the water. Stephen glanced around and smirked. as he saw the Gawain floating behind him. the Freedom then launched into the air and and a target appeared on it's radar. it was a transport ship "Transport ship K22, this is pilot Stephen Hownam of the Strike Freedom, i am your escort to the Albion" Stephen announced into the com "Strike Freedom this is transport K22 it's good to hear your voice, we are carrying the Howna..." the pilot of the transport paused "yes" Stephen announced "they are my parents" Stephen informed the pilot of the transport.
 
OOC: I know that. But Zeria doesn't.

IC:

Zeria sighed in frustration. She couldn't keep quiet anymore, so she called over the system to Stephen.

"Yo. Hownam. Why are you on a course to Alaska? And how come I didn't see you on the Archangel? You keep disappearing"

She leaned back in her seat, waiting for him to respond, yet still following him in the Blitz, which was carefully hidden by the Mirage Calloid system.
 
As always, Riina sat in her cockpit while idling away the time. She had nothing to do and was half asleep when the comm in the suit blared. Riina Otori, this is CIC control. On orders, you are to circle the Albion on patrol. We have suspicious radio chatter. You are to defend the Albion if attacked until
the rest of the units can return. Roger. On my way out. Cables connecting Hi Nu to the cage was disconnected and the heavy robot lumbered into the catapult. Riina Otori, Hi Nu Gundam. Launching! The pressure on her in launching was heavy as usual, but Riina was beginning to enjoy its speed. To waste some time, she began trying out maneauvers for combat, but even then, after an hour, she got bored. Ah damn. This is boring...Suddenly through the Emergency band, she heard a familiar voice. Th.. is th...hip Cavarin... Und..r attac...by ZAF...Need Ass..tan..e... Sir, there is a shuttle that is under attack by ZAFT. Request permission to engage. Denied. We do not want to participate in unnecessary combat. Sir, trust me on this. There is a person on board that would make all the difference...for my and my suit in any case. There was a slight pause and hesitation before a response. Alright. Permission granted. However, do not engage if you are against more than 5 suits. Roger that. In an instant, Riina blasted off towards the signal, at the opposite side of Stephen and the others.
 
Raven ran out of his quarters looking for Stephen. "Where is that guy, he disappears faster than my soda....Man, I wish I had some soda." He went out to the hanger to see Riina launch out. "Hmm, wonder where Riina's going? Raven then went to change into his flight suit and prepared to get into his Pulverizer when the intercom said, "Raven, this is CIC control. I want you to protect the Albion. We have heard some strange radio chatter." Raven finally said, "Understood, it's been a while since I got out. Pulverizer, launching!!!" The Pulvie launched out of the hanger bay and flew over the Albion, landing on top of the Flying Fortress. "So, looks like I may as well wait and watch."
 
Kailin heard static through the long ranged com and wondered what the hell was going on but was surprised when Ren adjusted the signal so Kailin could hear clearly. Then suddenly six targets came out of nowhere on the Gawains long ranged radar. Kailin looked at the targets before Ren spoke.

"There Ginns, ZAFT Ginns Kailin", Ren said simply making Kailin smile before announcing into the radio.

"Stephan we got six ZAFT Ginns on approach, they are heading towards the transport", Kailin said as the Gawains Druid system kicked in and the green shields formed there dome around the Gawain before Kailin steered the Suit towards the oncoming targets. "Switch to scatter fire mode", Kailin said before the firing system altered with a few keystrokes from Ren.
 
With blistering speed, Riina sped towards the specks in the sky. There it is... In the distance, she saw a shuttle, trailing smoke from its rear, followed by four Dinns. Perfect! Four suits! Tapping more speed into Hi Nu, Riina dove just above the surface of the water, creating a trail in her wake before speeding right up underneath the formation of the four. Boo~! she smiled as she let off a beam into the cockpit of the patrol's leader.

Lieutenant Santosa trailed after a suspicious shuttle, demanding it to surrender. Instead it attempted to flee. Private Shiden put a round through the back before the quad tried to overtake the vehicle. They were just in range when his radar blipped. His eyes bulged as it approached at tremendous speed, skipping across his radar screen in a second before being right on to of him. What the fu..? It was his last words as his Dinn turned to the middle to see a purple beam collide into his cockpit. Lieutenant! A rather quick reflexed pilot let off a laser shot onto Riina's shoulder. Expecting it to take off her arm, it instead bounced off the surface and riccochet into her team, killing another. Coool! she managed to say before placing another beam into the quick pilot. The last tried to flee before being shot down by a fin funnel. With the screen cleared, Riina approached the shuttle. So Bob. You owe me another one...again. Riina! Is that you? I thought you died?! Piss off. I don't die that easily. Now, follow me back to my ship and then we discuss what to do. Your ship? What if i escape? You won't. This line, Riina was serious as she levelled her rifle squarely at the shuttle. Right, right. I get the point. Lets go. I wanted to see Hi Nu again anyways. Shuttle in control, Riina made her way back to the Albion.
 
The Gawains came up on the Ginns fast and it became a stand still between the groups, Kailin was sitting there waiting while the Ginns were doing the same.

"This is Kailin Shador, pilot of the Gawain. I am giving you two choices, leave here now or die", Kailin said calmly across the com so all could hear.

"You stick your idea of us surrendering up your..........", A Ginn pilot yelled before Kailin fired a full power Hadron burst at him causing the suit to swell and explode before the other Ginns backed away from the Gawains a bit.

"Again you have two choices leave or die", Kailin said again calmly but with a wicked edge to his voice. This time the Ginns sat there and there pilots were silent.
 
The Freedom and Stephen were flying next to the shuttle on the way back to the Albion when a beam came out of the ocean and passed through the transport ship Stephen only caught a glimpse of the beam as it passed through, he could have done nothing. As the ship exploded Stephen knew his parents were dead. tears rolled down his cheek as he felt the Seed burst. As Stephen looked down he saw a mobile suit floating up and out of the Ocean.


Water was pouring off of it but Stephen didn't care, the Freedom locked onto it with all weapons and unleashed an attack from all of the Freedom's weapons. the Suit was forced to take evasive actions and it was at this point Stephen could tell it was the Abyss Gundam, Piloted Gene sahagin. the Freedom dove down into the Ocean and in one clean slash cut the abyss in half causing a large explosion. The Freedom then burst out of the water locked onto the targets far away and unleashed a beam from each of it's guns Towards the Ginns cockpits "Kailin, kill them all" he shouted down the comm as he blasted towards them "Or i will"
 
Zeria gasped as she watch what was unfolding, and couldn't believe it. Rage built up in her.
~They didn't deserve to die...............THEY DIDN'T DESERVE TO DIE!~
Her voice would scream in agonized rage over the system, and the Blitz would shift out of the Mirage Calloid System and over to the Phase Shift Armor...

"THEY DIDN'T DESERVE TO DIIIIEEE!"

The three spikes formed a spear, and she went crazy, blazing towards the incoming ginnz and moving to attack them...
 
The shuttle made rather good time as the two made it back to the Albion quickly. Well, you stay here for a sec. I think something is going on. Leaving Bob and his crew stuck in the cargo shuttle, Riina took off and flew up next to Raven in his Pulveriser. Hey, i hear battle chatter over the comm. What's going on?
 
"STAY OUT OF THIS" Stephen shouted as the blitz appeared out of nowhere. the Freedom's wings spread and released the DRAGOON spikes that began firing at the Blitz as the Freedom blasted towards the Ginns and drew one of It's beam sabers "HAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!" screeched Stephen as the Freedom shot past the Gawain and cut the closest Ginn in half, it then turned to the remaining four.

the Freedom's two M100 Balaena plasma beam cannon dropped over it's shoulders and shot at the cockpit's of two of the remaining four Ginn, at next to point blank, instantly destroying them. the Freedom then fired at the remaining two who dodged the Balaena beams but didn't expect to be picked off by the DRAGOON spikes. Stephen then spun the Freedom around so it was directly facing the Blitz, Stephen inside the cockpit was furious and panting heavily.
 
Zeria gasped, maneuvering her Blitz out of the way.

"Stephen! You have to calm down!"

Then he faced her in the Freedom and she raised herself into a defensive position....before relaxing. She simply opened the cockpit and stood up on the top of her gundam, removing her helmet so he could see her face and recognize it as really her.

"You have to stop! Please! No more bloodshed! I understand that the people were innocents! I'm as upset as you are! Maybe not quite for the same reasons, but upset nevertheless! Please! Just stop! I can't take it anymore!"
 
Kailin swore as he heard Zeria's speech as he didn't expect Stephan to act so violently.

"Ren what is your take on this situation?" Kailin asked as he was at a loss on what to do.

"Well I think we should make sure Stephan doesn't do anything rash in this situation", Ren said calmly before Kailin nodded as he agreed with this.

"Ok set the Hadrons to EMP fire and reverse the Druids shields, we're going to stop Stephan dead if he acts rashly", Kailin said calmly which was followed by the sound of Ren's keystrokes before she turned around and nodded.

"Done and ready", Ren said calmly making Kailin nod.

"And now we wait to see what Stephan does", Kailin said before sighing.
 
"Hey, i hear battle chatter over the comm. What's going on?" Riina said as she came up. "It appears that we've found the rest of the guys. I'm afraid though, it sounds like they are under some stress. Let's go before they overextend themselves." The Pulverizer flew towards Stephen's location.
 
Kailin watched silently before the radar flashed seven times.

"Crap more Ginns", Kailin said loudly before Ren typed some things in hurridly and the Druid and the Hadrons returned to normal and the Gawain spun around to face the approaching target that were still out of range.

"Should I deploy Siege mode?" Ren asked before Kailin nodded. After Ren put some things into the keyboard the Gawains Float and Druid systems shut down and the power was re focused into the Hadron cannons before a large triangular shaped prism was fired from the Gawains chest. Kailin then targeted the incoming targets using the Gawains advance systems. Kailin then fired the Hadron cannons and held the triggers causing it to fire in beam mode. The two Hadron beams hit the prism before firing off towards the oncoming targets, two were destroyed instantly before the prism adjusted so the beam swept across the rest of the targets causing them in turn to swell and explode. After this all non essential systems on the Gawain shut down meaning it was almost useless for the next minute or so unless it got an energy filler from another nightmare frame which was unlikely.

OOC: Just wanted to show off the Gawains siege mode lol.
 
Haaai, Taichou! Riina flew after Raven. The battle chatter was getting more serious by the second. From the sound of it, it seemed like Stephen was about to go berserk. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing, just calming him down would be hard. Her Funnel shield and Kailin's Druid shields would work, but trusting Stephen, it wouldn't last too long. Yo, Kailin! The Calvary is here. What the hell's going on? Having fought Stephen before, she new she should go in serious. With the fin funnels detached and the EM Emitter running hot, she dove in with Raven towards the battle.
 
Stephen's grip on the controls of the Freedom had not lightened. Stephen's face was pointing towards his feet, his eyes tightly shut, "why" he muttered through a pain filled voice. As he raised his head up he opened his eyes and tears Streamed heavily down his cheeks. as he looked up and ripped his helmet from his head and threw it down to his feet. "WHY COULDN'T I SAVE THEM!!!!!!!!" he shouted as he slammed his face into his hands crying.
 
OOC: I've posted the Gawains specs on the discussion thread.

Kailin heard Stephans yelling into the com and sighed.

"Ren are the communication systems running or are we still out of power?" Kailin asked before the systems came live again and the cockpit lit back up.

"The power just returned to normal Kailin we're good to go", Ren said with a smile.

"Ok Reset the systems to how they were and open a private channel to Riina", Kailin said and after Ren typed some stuff into the system Kailin spoke. "Riina this is Kailin, by the look of it Stephans about to go ballistic and we have to stop him from doing anything ballistic so be prepared to assist the Gawain in stopping him if anything arises", Kailin said in a much calmer tone.
