"Stubborn? Hmph. I can be too when i feel like it." Riina nodded thank you to the man before heading into the bridge. Captain, can i have a word with you? Before she even asked her question, he replied straight out. No. you are not going out after Raven. But he could still be alive. We need pilots like him. We can't just abandon him like a used rag! Riina! This is war! Soldiers die everyday. Do you want to personally go and inspect every corpse and wreck of every dead person? That is final. You are dismissed.
Riina was furious. The way captain talked made it seem like everyone was disposable, but she knew he was right. It was war and this was the nature of it. I hate this... she muttered as she walked out the door. The captain tilted his head back and rubbed the bridge of his nose. I hate this too... he whispered. As the door of the bridge slid open, Riina stepped out and sat down on the floor next to the wall, knees to her chest with her hands to her head in frustration. Her anger was building up and she slammed her fist into the wall as a temporary release. Damn it!
