Gundam Seed- the RP

As the Calamity Exploded Stephen floated in space momentarily. the Freedom wasn't moving as the DRAGOON spikes re-connected. Stephen was panting heavily as he looked down towards his knee's. Still gripping his controls he turned towards the Dual Face "lets head back, the Minerva is no threat, not any more" the Freedom then spun on the spot, It's wings spread and it burst into a high thrust back towards the Eternal. "Eternal, come in captain Enix, this is Stephen Hownam in the Strike Freedom, I am coming back" he announced as he made the Freedom spin around a couple of times.
 
"I heard that buddy" Raven said to Stephen before heading back. He activated the Dual Face's "overboosters" and headed back home. At base, he went to the briefing room for debriefing. Apparently, ZAFT forces tried to attack ORB in order to take over the Eternal and use it against Earth Federation forces. "It is evil, these 'Villians of War.' They'll never know peace until they blow everything up." A disgusted Raven went into his Quarters, looking to contact his friend Stephen.
 
Stephen and the Strike Freedom where still outside the eternal. the Freedom stood on the end of the catapult. looking out into the distance. "this mobile suit is unbelievable" Stephen announced as the Freedom spun around and walked into the Hangar at the other end of the Catapult. he strode it into position and exited the Cockpit.

He floated back down to the floor and looked at the mechanic, whilst he was removing his helmet. "you missed De-brief" he announced "Don't care" announced Stephen before returning to his quarters.
 
Raven turned on the monitor and webcam in his quarters, then went down the friends list for Stephen. When he got on, Raven said, "What's up Stephen. So, you blew of the debrief as usual. Well, apparently ZAFT was trying to take control of the Eternal, so I hope they're thankful for kicking butt and taking names. So, how's the new Gundam?"
 
Stephen jumped from his bed as the monitor turned on and he smiled as Raven began talking "It's amazing, it's so much better than the Impulse" Stephen then turned away from the cam and grabbed a T-shirt "I'm going out again, gunna test it out" he announced with a smile "feel like coming, well if you do i will meet you in the Hangar" Stephen announced before turning off the cam and heading for the Hangar.

After getting his Flight suit on he waited to see If Raven was going to be joining him or not.
 
Raven turned of the monitor and webcam, and decided to meet with Stephen at the Hanger.Before he left he said "I don't know if you feel that way Stephen, but I'll do whatever it takes to end this war. He decided to take the Dual Face again in order to keep up. "You're really having fun over there, are you Stephen?"
 
"Okay princess. We got the Gundam prepped up.". The mechanic's voice echoed up into the cockpit where Riina was snoozing, promptly waking her up.
"*YAWN* Really? Well, no use now. They finished up already.". Riina climbed out of her hatch and reached up high, stretching out the cramps from the sleep. The gangway stood high off the ground, levelling at the cockpit. From here, Riina had perfect view of most of the hangar. Since she saw that there was nothing to do, she leaned back and relaxed, waiting for something worthwhile to perk her interest.
 
Stephen Smirked at Raven's remarks as he pulled hi helmet on and floated out to the Strike Freedom, he noticed that the pilot who defected was sat in her suit "Hey newbie, coming out for a spin with me and raven" he asked with smirk, hoping the girl would say yes. he then turned and dropped into the Strike Freedom's cockpit he booted up all the systems and smiled "Everybody, this is captain Enix of the Eternal coming to you with a special broadcast, both the Archangel and the Eternal are returning to earth in order to help ORB against the current threat of ZAFT invasion. All crew members please report to Stage 2 battle stations, Pilots man your Gundam's"

Stephen shifted his helmet and it clicked into place. "so much for a holiday" he muttered under his breath. as he began typing on the Keyboard in front of him "Mechanic's,how is the Impulse coming, in-fact it doesn't matter as soon as the sword Silhouette is up and running, along with the Impulse send them across to the Archangel, I shall defend it in the Freedom then transport over" Stephen announced "The impulse was to heavily damaged" one of the mechanic's voices replied over the comm "Then it looks like im in the freedom" He announced with a smile. the Freedom was then toed onto the Eternals catapult awaiting the all clear launch command.
 
The voice of someone grabbed Riina's attention and with a sidewards glace, saw Stephen. She didn't really know him well besides the fact that he used the Impulse.

"Hey newbie, coming out for a spin with me and raven"

She gave him a few seconds of thought before answering simply "Sure." The helmet slipped over her head and clicked soundly into place on her suit. The Freedom was already at the catapult as Riina powered her Gundam up and cleared the gangway. "Well....lets see what these guys can do..." she thought to herself as she idled in line after Freedom.
 
"Eternal Bridge, Captain Enix allow me to launch" all of a sudden a ladies face appeared on the screen "Mr Hownam, there is no reason for you to launch right now, not until there is a threat" Stephen Gritted his teeth "Why not" the captain smiled "because almost everyone on this ship knows that the Strike Freedom is faster than it, maybe even the fastest Gundam in it's arsenal, and you are the one pilot who would try and break away from It's flagship to fight" Stephen slammed his hands onto his controls "I'm not going to leave the Eternal Behind captain, I was entrusted to defend it, and thats what I'll do, now let me, the new girl and Raven launch" Stephen announced. the Captain nodded and a voice came over the intercom "Freedom your clear for launch" Stephen looked at the monitor "thank you captain"

Stephen then pressed a button dropping the visor of his helmet and he smiled "Stephen Hownam, Strike Freedom, Heading out" he announced as the Freedom shot down the Catapult and then out the business end. the phase shift armor activated and the freedom blasted forward rapidly. it then slowed down, spun around and blasted back to the eternal.
 
After the all clear signs lit up, the Strike Freedom launched out of the linear catapult into space. Riina moved the bulky HWS Nu Gundam in place
behind Stephen and completed the final preparations. "Riina Otori, Nu Gundam Heavy Weapon System, launching.". Nu Gundam shot out towards the span of space, flinging off the catapult. Riina always enjoyed the feeling of flight, so let herself drift for a few seconds before activating her thrusters and turning back towards the Eternal.

"Hm...not bad...the mechanics did a great job in recalibration..."she mused as she tested out minor movements on the upgraded robot. By that time, Riina had drifted close to where Stephen was.
 
Stephen noticed the Nu Gundam floating through space and he smirked. he pulled the Keyboard down and opened the Com link at the same time "Hey new kid, recalibrate your beam weapons for Infra red lasers and we can have our selves a training mission" he announced down the comm as he began typing on his Keyboard "that is of course if you can, i Don't know that much about you" he continued.

After around 15 minutes of typing he smiled "It's done" he announced he then looked at the Nu Gundam ~It's quite bulky~ Stephen Began thinking Before a smile crept onto his face. the Freedom placed It's beam saber back onto his thighs and It's wings spread and It pulled one of It's beam sabers out. as the Beam saber came online it glowed red instead of the usual pink "your mine" he announced as the Freedom blasted towards the Nu and slashed Horizontally at It's head.
 
Although he was originally going to use the Dual Face, he instead decided to use the Red Mercury. He looked at opponents he was training with from afar, waiting for the right time. Raven said, "Hmm, looks like we have a new pilot. Still, I wonder if Stephen's reflexes are up to par. He boosted towards the Freedom and activated his IR saber, trying to slice him with it.
 
Riina saw the fast slash from the Strike Freedom and her eyes widened with reflex. With a whip of the control, the right of of Nu flew straight into the beam saber holder in the left forearm and pulled it out, activating it along the way. The two beam connected a split second after she drew her sword.
"Tch, damn it...: she cursed as the two were locked. Against Strike Freedom, maneuverbility was the key. Still in dead lock, Riina jettisoned the bulky shield. Riina stepped on the acceleration pedal, pushing Nu Gundam closer towards Freedom and with her left arm drew the custom saber from the back pack, launching a diagonal downward slash aiming for Freedom's right shoulder pauldron.
 
The Freedom reached with it's spare hand and gabbed the wrist of the oncoming attack from the Nu and as Stephen noticed the Red mercury heading towards him he smiled "Two on one hey" the Freedom's wings then spread and launched the DRAGOON spikes the were all targeting the red mercury. they began firing a net of IR lasers at the Red mercury.

The Freedom placed it's right foot on the cockpit of the Nu Gundam and kicked off,breaking free from the locked beam sabers and the grip. as It floated backwards all four cannons activated, two over it's shoulders, and the two connected to It's hips. the Freedom released the Beam saber and grabbed it's two thigh mounted beam rifles. all Six Barrels pointed at the Nu Gundam and fired IR beams at the Nu.
 
Raven activated the Red Mercury's EO system and fired IR lasers towards the incoming laser fire. "Impressive..." Raven said. "....but, I know you can do better!!" He fired rubber bullets from his Machine Gun towards the Nu Gundam. While switching his EO to attack the Freedom Gundam.
 
The IR beam flew straight towards the cockpit. There was no time to dodge and she had abandoned her shield. The six fin funnels detached from the backpack and took position around her and shot out the lightwave barrier. The beams riccochet off the barrier. Just as she was about to go on the offensive, rubber bullets splattered onto the shield. It was going to dissipate in a few more seconds, so she needed to detach from the middle of the fight. Stepping on the pedal, Nu Gundam shot upwards away from the fray. The barrier dissappeared and together with her Heavy beam rifle, the funnels fired 7 shots at once towards Strike Freedom and Red Mercury.
 
The Strike Freedom burst upwards in a show of It's immense speed. it blasted all the way over to the Eternal and stood on the end of the catapult. "Mr Hownam, are you giving up on the training exercise that easily?" the captain began to mock through the com Stephen smiled "Not at all, I'm going to see what those two have got" he announced with a bigger smile.
 
"Heh, Stephen, you have gotten better, I'm gonna have to take off the kid gloves." He charged at the Nu, showering it with rubber bullets and IR laser fire from it's EO. He then charged at the Freedom and did the same thing, except he draws out the IR blade and tried to slice the Freedom's right arm off.
 
as the red Murcury charged towards the Freedom Stephen smiled "well i tried" the right arm of the Freedom raised and the beam shield came online blocking the rubber bullets. As the RM (red mercury) got close enought to use the beam saber the Freedom blocked it with the same Beam shield.

Stephen turned on his personal com and began speaking to the Mechanics "Launch the Sword Silhouette for the Impulse" he announced and the mechanic's did so. the catapult opened and as the silhouette launched the freedom jumped over it and as it shot towards the RM at practically point blank range the Freedom grabbed one of the swords and blasted directly upwards away from the RM. The freedom floated above the Eternal at around 50 meters.
