Well where do I start.........1 months ago I purchased 2 swords from from some guy in Pakistan of off Ebay for about $170.....1 week later they arrived and was really stoked to get my FFVII Ultima Weapon and LOTR Glamdring Sword.

I open the box and they are the biggest pieces of shit you have ever seen! misshaped, dented, bent, rusted.......disappointment ensued as did rage at the loss of a largish amount of $$$$ for crap crap items.

In the end I had to email the dude back and e subjected to the worse Engish language skills you ever read, and send photos and stuff like 3 times to get through to the guy he ripped me off!

He wrote back "I does not be mattering what the Item looks like it is not used in the real war and is for the decorating"......LMAO So I swore and lost my temper and finally got my payment back minus the Shipping cost....

The next day I got another Email saying " nowthat we are friends I would like you tobe the one who is sponsoring my trip in Australia".....WTF!? friends.....you tool.....Any way I told him over the course of 4 emails we were not friends and I did not owe him some kind off favour!

He even offered me a substantial amount of money for the trouble of sponsoring his "Trip"......but I dont need the feds coming looking for me and my "friend if it hits the fan.......and finding my large cache of Swords lol

So 2weeks after I hear nothing back from this guy and then on the freakin newsflash it says there is "mass flooding and mud slides" or some shit in pakistan!

And it occuered to me I may have let this guy who sells crappy Swords Die?!

Should I feel any guilt over this possibility?
Or not worry because you cant know what will happen on the future?

Yeah you are to blame. If you had sponsored his trip to Australia he would still be alive.
On the other hand, it is also god's fault for making it flood in Pakistan.
Feeling guilty is just being self indulgent.

You can't know that he is dead. He might have just decided that you weren't going to be fooled, and gave up trying to get you to sponsor his trip.

Even if he is dead there wouldn't have been much that you could have done about it. For starters the trip may not have even have existed in the first place, and he might have had no plans to go to Australia. His only plans may have been to confuse you and get more money from you. His large amounts of money probably didn't exist, and if it did then I doubt he'd give it to you.

Even if the trip was at the planning stage, and he was really going to go to Australia... I doubt that even if you had sponsored him it would have changed anything. Two weeks just isn't enough time to really plan a thing like that, and he'd have needed to have booked flights and such. If he was planning a trip then he wouldn't have left Pakistan before the floods anyway.

But really he may not be dead. He may just have been trying to milk money out of you, calling you his friend to try and turn around the bad situation with the swords (or perhaps because he isn't very good with his English) and trying to get you to forget about that. He’s likely just given up and gone on to hassle someone else as he thinks that you wouldn’t yield to him.
 
Him asking you to sponsor his trip to Aus was just a scam and there's billions who do it every day. In the end, even if he gave you money, he would have come around asking for a substantial amount of money to take with him and support him when crossing the border. And then there's numerous amounts of documents that you would have had to file regarding how you know this guy.

Sponsorship is no easy task and the guy was just trying to scam you. I assure you the flooding and mudslides was just a coincidence because there isn't any huge way that they would have known they'd be flooded.

I werent really fussed either way in the end not much I could do as Channizard says, So the next week I brought to more swords and they were in tip top shape, BTW his store is open en ebay lol.


Probably not able to fill orders as his merch is under water lol
