Okay, first of all I need people to sign up. This will probably last about 1 month sooo it'll be necessary for people to be around, or for them to make all the graphics in case they reach all the stages.

Here are what the stages will be:

Stage 1: A sig.
Theme: Our clan. (Leave space for the name to go.) ^_^ This could be used as the actual sig.
Size: This is negotiable, but how does 300 x 90 sound?

Stage 2: A sig and matching avatar.
Theme: PS1 or N64 games (e.g. Spyro 3, Final Fantasy VIII, Zelda: OoT, Mario 64 (You can't use renders from later games in the same series).)
Size: let's say 315 x 110 and 120 x 120.

Stage 3: Splash
(Will only run if enough sign up for this month)
Theme: Dragons.
Size: 500 x 500

Stage 4: Photo manipulation.
Theme: Er, well, you have to manipulate a photo you have taken. You must supply the original image too. The image can be of anything within reason! (I'm sure you're all sensible enough to know what won't be acceptable! :)) You can do as much or as little to the photo as you want, but can't erase anything. You can simply make it look old and grainy if you want. Or can be more daring and add in more images and/or use brushes to create a new image, using the photo as a starting point.
Size: 600 x 600


If no one minds, I'd like to take part in this....
If anyone does, I won't. :)

So, who'll sign up? I'll edit this post as people do.
The opportunity to sign up will end on the 25th and we'll work with who we have.

And...um, what's Splash...? =/ I haven't had the opportunity to work with that in Photoshop...
 
Just a larger sig really. At least, that's how people introduced them to me.
Here's one I made a loooong time ago. (I drew the bg using brushes. Only didn't draw the girl actually. :P I wanted it to look like she was dancing on water. ^_^)

Oh okay. Hmm, kinda like a wallpaper in a way, I suppose, except without an original stock and that you actually have to create the BG yourself. I could certainly use the experience.
 
Methinks we should maybe PM everyone else in the clan to see whether they'll take part.
What d'you think?

I can't access the main clan, just this part, so I'm guessing whoever set up the password didn't anticipate that it didn't include sub-forums.

Erm, members who aren't part of this particular clan aren't supposed to see this. >.> Lol but I guess there was a little mess-up so...now you can see what we've been talking about in the past few days that the rest of you haven't been seeing. This competition is actually only for us members in a clan. =/
 
Ok, ok, now I read through the thing, guess I'll try to join next time, will that be possible?
 
methinks making seperate usergroups with specific permissions is in order.

Passwords never work out and always spoof.

Also, I'm interested in participating, I guess.

I might try participating, can't guarantee what I make will be good, I usually have to be in the right mood to make something quality :neomon:
 
As a newbie, this seems daunting for me, but I'd like to try anyways ^_^

Although I'm not so sure about the Photo Manipulation one, but meh *shrugs*

But yeah, what Fusion said about the photomanip. I don't think I've ever done that. :O

Also, I thought a Splash sig would be a normal sig with splash effects on it.
