Google Ads.

What the hell? There's one at the top now? JUST LMAO! I never had that shit at the top of the forums even when I used to pay for the dedicated server which was pretty much pricey. Guess I'm still better as the site owner. :monster:

Well, I guess I could remove the ads at the top but not without the owner's permission, of course. :wacky:
 
The reason for the addition of the ads is to have some cash to play with so we can give back to the community. I would like to run a contest here and give away some cool prizes. It takes money to do this stuff...:)
 
i can understand WHY the ads have been added...but is it really neccessary to have them at the top of every single page? It would be alot better if they were at the bottom...

you talked about prizes - but soon you will have no members to give the prizes to - over the last 3 months the member count has dropped

How much money do you get per click? I was told in America, the amount you would receive is less than half of one cent. That's not a lot of cash. :\

Ah ok, you guys are talking about that ad at the main page of Ashe. It doesn't bother me at all, why would it make people aggravated or frustrated?

Thats what i've done, and i don't see any ads at all :) so if you have firefox its the perfect solution...
 
The thing is the ad is over twice as large as the forum banner. If you want to have ads, they need to be a proper size. Not something larger than the site banner. If it was smaller, the ads would not be so bad.
 
If it was at the bottom, it would actually be much better. :monster:

It made me convert to Firefox ¬_¬ stoopid Ashe.

Why hasn't she been moved to the bottom yet? Sux.
 
Okay, i'd kinda forgotten about this <_< seeing as i've got it blocked but Ashe ad, is still at the top of the page.

Is it really neccessary?
Can it be moved to the bottom?

I had to use my brothers craptop earlier which doesn't have Firefox, and She was there, and it made me realise how...off putting she would be to new members =/
 
Meh, I know the server is busy when she pops up......other than that I don't see her all that much....but I'm beginning to get sick of the sight of her now that the server is busy practically everytime i come on GRRR
I had no idea you could get rid of it tho...
