Games that shouldn't exist...but do. *sigh*

The only thing I'm hoping for this thread it's that it doesn't turn into a debate thread.

@Katsky:Oh thank for the info,I really didn't know that. It'd be pretty helpful to some people if they DID bother learn a language in order to understand a game.Games help you a lot when trying to learn english or japanese. At least they had a result to me.

And no problem. I'm a big fan of the Sims (although I do sympathize with what you're saying).

Yu-Gi-Oh games are garbage because the game purposely screws you over to make the matches challenging. At least that's the way it seems. I couldn't catch a break with the game I had for the GBA.

Anywho, I say to hell with Pokemon Diamond/Pearl. Stinking Bidoofs everywhere. The new pokemon are garbage.

Here here! And the fourth generation has hardly any good pokemon in it. Far too many legendaries. I second that motion, Von!

Hmm...Off the top of my mind without searching the internet or browsing through my collection of games...Deathtrap Dungeon...

Ever had any of them games you completed the first level of...thinking it was crap, and couldn't even be bothered to start the second one? Yeah...that's what I did with this game ¬_¬

Don't mean to be rude but...

All Pokemon games have had their fair share of legendaries. But I do agree, they were a bit shite in D/P.

1st gen legends ftw.

From what I understand, it's based off an anime, but I don't know anything about it.

Omg, I don't think I can even call this a game; it was like I was watching a friggin' demo -__-

Crap story, crap characters, crap voice acting, crap game play, and the graphics weren't all that great either -_-

I implore anyone who sees this game at a store...It's not even worth stealing! :gasp:

I whole heartedly agree. Several years ago I told my brother to buy me an RPG game at Gamestop for the PS2. He went and bought this one. I tried to play it - twice in fact, but it's just so horrible. >.> I only played about 2-3 hours into the game, then I quit. To this day, it's still sitting on the basement somewhere, collected in dust.

And then there's Koudelka. Ack, horrible game. Supposed to be a RPG-horror but an hour into the game and I had quit. Never touched it again. I don't know where the game is at now, nor do I care of its mere existence.

I didn't think the game was that bad. Given the selection of games that you had when the game first came out it was actually one of the better choices. I own it, but never played all the way through it. I have seen the anime, which was decent but nothing amazing. (and the dub will make you want to attack your own testicles with a cheese grater.) The game doesn't really have anything to do with the story from the anime though, and only three of the characters are from the anime. So watching the show won't make the game any better.

Amen! I want to pee in the face of the dude(s) responsible for all the half-assed pokemon we got this time around. I'd have been happier with the game if they didn't add a single new pokemon...if Bidoof and Starly is the best they can do.

They can go ahead and stop making Medal of Honor games as well. There hasn't been a decent MoH game since Frontline. They've been abysmal.

There are many games that I think are crap like:
-Yu-Gi-Oh! Games which totally sucked I don't know why the keep making them :gasp:
- Shadow Ninja that game was for PS it was just horrible more likely a family console game :gasp:
- Games based on Animes.
- The Sims
- And many others :/

Pretty much three full pages and only one person has mentioned Rise Of The Robots? I'm shocked and appalled. Rise was just.....oh God, I can't even put into words just how much disappointment I felt when I played it.
A fighting game with robots should be awesome, it was pretty much as far as possible from it as you could imagine, it remains my number one worst game ever to this day.

Fucking, Turok.

This fucking game is horrible, I only remember a bit of it because I hit myself repeatedly after playing it.

Theres also...

Juiced
King Kong
Most movies that went to game.

Avatar.... Don't even ask why I have this game lol *bashes head on keyboard*

Anything related to a movie, I've yet to play a game that has come out after a movie which is any good. It's quite clear that games that come out after the movie are solely based on merchandising rather than quality...which makes them shit.
Harry Potter was probably the best movie-game I've played but even that was below par.

Hey now, don't get down on movie games. I know that the Spiderman series pulled out some great games in the past.

As far as one of the worst games go I think it would have to be:

I can't really remember it in detail but I can roughly recollect my disgust at wasting money on that shite. It was so bad it was laughable.

While I do agree that the majority of movie-based games are crap there are a few that are actually good. Goldeneye is widely regarded as one fo the best games of all time, the Super Star Wars Trilogy for the SNES is overall a good series of games as well.

This game is surpassed by it's predecessor, that's how shit it is.

I probably got 2-3 hours into the game before I realised that there was no storyline, no character development, no major plot advancement or any good staples of RPG gaming that keep you hooked.

It's just a turd game, and I'd advise you all to stay well away. You're seriously better off buying the original for the PS1.

I always see loads of Barbie games when Im out and about, I mean wtf? I don't even wanna know whatthey are about....

Oh and things like sudoku, whats the point? Just get a newspaper every day, theres usually one in there, or a puzzle book, cheaper than the game and once you have done them all, buy another book >_>

Oh and Unlimited Saga. Do NOT buy this game. What a pile of shit. I played it for about 15 minutes before I came to the conclusion that this was the most pointless game I ever bought. It's only saving grace was the FFX dvd thingy that came with it -__-

AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS

I've never played a more broken, boring and idiotic game with the WORST voice acting I've ever HEARD.

Just... avoid this... at ALL costs XD

Sadly enough I have played some crappy games. Thankfully I have managed to erase the titles from my mind. :) .
Rules to go by-
If ever in a game store and theres more than 7 copies of the same used game for sale. DON'T GET IT!!

If a game is "on sale" for 5 dollars or less BE AFRAID!!!

These are the two mistakes I have made and got had on crap games.
