In a nutshell, the staff have decided it'd be a good idea to bring in our resident graphics nut-cases. The competition details are as follows:
Utilize your graphic-editorial abilities to uniquely design and finalize a banner for Final Fantasy Forums - with the winning entry being placed on the top of the site for all to see.

There is no specific stock for you to work with. The piece will be specific to you, but must pertain to a Final Fantasy theme. Images shall be 900 x 100.

This thread will act as a registration form; any who are interested in participating should say so here, and you will be listed as an official participant of the competition.

The staff will unanimously be deciding the winner after all entries have been submitted. The final date has yet to be decided upon, but updates will be placed within this thread.

The winning entry WILL replace the current.

At last, a couple of decent entries. We've still to confirm any end date for submission due to lack of entries, so there's still plenty of time for people to design one of their own.

I think this one wins based on sheer talent ... but I'm put off by the fact that VII is the focus. We've already got Cloud and Sephiroth [and a chocobo?], so if there was another pair of characters instead of Zack and Aerith, then I'd vote for this. However ...

...this is bloody gorgeous. The only thing that lets it down is the caption, "The forum where fantasy is final." I'm not sure where you were going with that, but it's rather strange. Other than that, this and the last banner nothing short of stunning.
 
I'll change that text. Eh, I do go for strange text sometimes. xD

Members have until Friday to submit their entries. Staff will decide on a winner over the duration of the weekend, and hopefully have the successful banner replace the present one.
 
Im willing to enter. But I need till like 11:59pm on Friday... >.>

Sorry I know its super late but I did just rejoin the fourms...

I could have it done earlier if it wasn't for my somewhat full schedual tomorrow... well today now.



EDIT: My inspiration to make anything is more dead then ever. I did try to make some stuff but they just came out.. wrong. So I guess I won't be entering :p :( :x

Whoops, looks like I got side-tracked and... forgot about this.


Competition is now closed. The entries have been shown to staff, and hopefully we'll have a unanimous decision soooooooooon. Albeit later than intended. >_>
