Final Fantasy XIV gets a 4.0 score from GameSpot [10/7]

The main reason it got such low scores was because of how cheap it was put together. Alot of stuff doens't give any tooltips on how to work it. The terrain was LITERALLY copy/pasted many many many times over. Fighting anything is just pathetic, they have a CAP on how many quests you can do so your forced to do one of the "skills" things that require little more than grinding.

yeah, but the people who made the reviews actually played through the game for a couple of weeks

the people who start criticizing the graphics and the gameplay without actually experiencing the game are just ignorant

I get your point..I never criticized the actual game.Im just disappointed, but yeah those who havent played it are just basing their opinions on these reviews..

Still I hope these issues are long gone when PS3 releases..sorry I simply cant play it on my weak ass pc...if Im gonna buy a new pc it'll be a laptop actually.



I HOPE THEY PATCH THE SHIT OUT OF THIS GAME :mokken:

:sad3: While I am not going to sit here and say that I will not be playing the game after watching this, I will agree with you Shu that is a very disconcerting video when considering buying this for PS3. Granted there is that crazy, super slim and I can honestly say super damn slim hope that SE will listen to these and I am sure other peoples reviews and actually do something about. Either with patches for the PC version, or maybe even a complete overhaul for the PS3 version. The latter I dont really see happening, but man can dream dammit. :gonk:
 
It's online and you have to pay a monthly fee. NOT WORTH ITT! I've seen footage, it's great for like 5 minutes and totally blows up in your face like a failed chemistry experiment. I don't suggest you waste your money on this. It's NOT Final Fantasy, it's VIX ysatnaF laniF. Don't even call it FFXIV. T_T I SHALL NOT! Final Fantasy Versus XIII is officially Final Fantasy XIV in my mind. Final Fantasy er... XI-2 can be called XI-2 from now on.
 
I probably lost all hope for this game. The visuals are beautiful and the music Is just so awesome. But after that review the game looks so horrible. Will it be better down the line on the ps3 version? Who knows... Right now the pc version looks like shit. The ps3 version will most probably be even more shit. This is really putting me off the game. Besides I dont care for MMO's much :dave:
