While Japan is playing Final Fantasy XIII, we’re waiting. It’s all good though, because Square Enix is holding a new sweepstakes to draw our attention away from the land of the rising sun.

Starting on December 23, Square Enix will open a sweepstakes for Final Fantasy XIII where you’ll have the chance to be one of thirteen lucky winners and receive Final Fantasy XIII-themed jewlery and accessories.
Out of the thirteen winners, four will receive on of the following Final Fantasy XIII pendants:

Serah's pendant looks like it could kill people. :gasp:

They look nice though, but I have no need to desire them since they're female targetted.
 
Wow! As Argor pointed out, Serah's pendant looks rather lethal and heavy to wear. You can use it as a knife! It might come handy when you're camping. I wouldn't mind keeping it on display, but I wouldn't want to wear it. I love its resemblance to the FFXIII logo illustration.

I rather like Snow's pendant. It looks well designed and beautiful- the animal design is a nice touch as well. It looks like a cat, though a little odd looking.
 
Serah's is so purty, I want that one the most out of any of them. Although, it might hurt if you move the wrong way :wacky:

The lightning one is looking a bit more appealing in these shots. The l'Cie necklace still looks a bit ugly.

Imagine how many people will be entering into this though, the odds are against you D:
 
So I assume if it's away from the rising sun, the competition is available to all western territories including Europe then :hmmm:

In that case, the odds of being one of the thirteen winners are rather unfathomably low then.

It doesn't help if someone has Triskaidekaphobia- the fear of the number 13 :wacky:- then again if someone has that phobia they would be avoiding FFXIII anyway.
 
Well, as long as there's no cost to enter, I might check it out. I'm already using Squall's Griever pendant as a key chain slash something to hold when I'm walking home in the night, so a pointy pendant would be kewl too :awesome:

I can't view the link either, although I did catch a glimpse of the URL saying Square Enix members area which is the same place that Sonia woman comes from, which must be that "cool" thing she was banging on about :sad3:
 
Wow these are really beautiful. I think I should get these next considering I have some FF equipment neckalaces rings etc etc. They will make perfect gifts for my gf when I go back to Italy. Maybe she will wear Lightnings :hmmm:

Which means the thing we can participate in which is "cool" at the same time is- this? :gonk:

I like the look of the jewellery and all- but with the very little chance of winning, I can't see how "cool" this can be in relation to an actual FFXIII demo!

This is hardly something that "most" people can participate in what she said would be, it's more female orientated then anything. Sorry, regardless of it saying "Snow" above one of the necklaces I can't see many men walking round with it one >.>

I can picture a male wearing the l'Cie one more than the Snow one, tbh. There's a cat on it, and when I first saw it I thought they misplaced the picture.

I agree, this is probably what she was talking about.

It's not THAT cool, though :mokken:
 
Anyway Im sure these will be up on Square enix store so I can buy them by that site. Nice necklaces and Since she is a huge FF fan I think she will wear one. That is if I get these or if they ever come up on SE store instead of sweepstake contest. Cause I wont win if its only sweepstake :sad3:
