The official Japanese website revealed a web novelization titled Final Fantasy XIII Episode Zero: Promise. It contains a series of short stories written by Jun Eishima, leading up to the events depicted in the actual game. The first story is called "Encounter", and it focuses on how Serah Farron became the first Pulse l'Cie in Cocoon for a long time.

As ever, excellent find, Hope!

That was beautiful and captivating! It's really making the story look excellent so far. What I love is the emphasis on the individual thoughts of the characters, which makes them really human.

As for Cocoon- I had the feeling it's just one giant city in the sky- but after reading this, I get the impression that Cocoon is more like a world of its own with places like Bowdam, Eden and Palumpolom.
 
Good find Merc, staying on top of FF news in general. I'll have to print it out when I get home tonight, but definitely interested in what it has to say.

Let's hope I don't get spoiled though...
 
Great find! Can't wait to watch it. Can't wait for the game. Hopefully this will clear some mysteries about the upcoming great game that will be.
