I was hoping to go "Suprise, new trailer :awesome:", alas, it was not to be :(

Square Enix unveils a new video of Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete and Final Fantasy XIII demo bundle, scheduled for April 16 in Japan on PlayStation 3.

Talk about a short vid. I don't expect the game to be any good cuz from FFXII.. It is just bull. They should stick to the turn taking game style. Like in FFIII. Not the FFIV style though. I like the FFIII style better.

But that's not what gamers what nowadays, as it's unrealistic and can be tedious.

The thread topic was on the trailer? I figured it was about FFXIII and FFVII
Well, it was posted in the News section, there's a trailer in the opening post. It seems pretty clear to me. xD

Anyhow, in regards to the trailer, it looks pathetic. The set-up looks fan-made, if I had to comment, and none of the new scenes have been featured in it, making it seem rather pointless. There doesn't appear to be anything new in the XIII demo, either, making that also feel a bit pointless. SE are crushing my soul.

The trailer could be helping hype the release of FFXIII. Thus making FFXIII the topic. But the trailer sucks! You don't understand anything and it is really short. Too short.

The demo really doesn't show much which sucks. I mean I recognized scenes from Advent Children, and I could see familiar views of FFXIII that I've seen in screenshots so far, but this trailer seem like more of an announcement than anything "Eye-candy-wise".

It'll be interesting to see what the FFXIII demo's like, but unfortunately for me if it's only for the PS3, I'm not getting it.

Well, nothing really new for me. Like Busta said, the FFXIII scene was basically what was featured in the various screen shots released over the months.

But I think this is a pretty good ad. The whole point of an advertisement it to grab the attention of the viewers, so being flashy is a good thing. I mean, this is something that's suppose to show up on t.v. between shows you're actually focused on watching and I think that most people more often than not use the commercial break to use the bathroom or whatever, and with only 14 seconds to use, it's not bad.

Of course the actual trailers on the official sites are a lot better, but you get what I mean :monster:

Agreed, this looks like it's just a commercial intended for Television. Therefore its primary purpose is to attract attention by showing flashy stuff. Plus SE are probably trying to appeal to people who aren't already fans, so showing flashy shit is probably the best move they could've made with the 15 seconds they had.

It would have been nice to have seen some new FFXIII footage though..
