Marcus: *says very angry* Well we had to fight the Antlion Queen for a while than we had to think of a way to get out, thanks to the Amarant and palms we got out safely.

After a few minutes (it's hard to say since she has no way of keeping track of time), Eiko arrived at the beach. Immediately, she waded into the shallows and dunked her flute in repeatedly, rubbing off whatever gunk was on the surface. After several dunks, drains, and trying it out, the honey-like liquid was flushed out eventually. Now her flute had a sweet, yet salty taste to it.

Eiko waded back to shore again and wrung out her clothes. When she looked about, she realized she arrived at the beach by herself.

"...are they arguing or something....?"

After a shrug, she dismissed the notion and helped herself to some fruit.

OOC: Immunity time!:)

GARLAND:

*appears riding a white dragon*

Ohhh you´re still alive eh? Well i hope you are not too tired...because it´s time for...Immunity!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Immunity challenge:

There is treasure chest emprisioned inside a huge rock which can only be destroyed by using a cannon located on top of a small mountain. Your objective is to collect the treasure chest inside of the rock by using the cannon! Sounds simple? Well the cannon is guarded by 12 Black Mages who cast Fira on anyone who aproaches it so you have to beat them to activate the cannon! Also you have to cross a narrow path to reach the mountain were the cannon is located and there are Trick Sparrows (those birds you encounter near Treno) dropping rocks at you as you move along so you have to dodge them!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok everyone the best strategy wins...make me pround and let´s see how you do and remember it´s an individual challenge!

sure no prob....

blank unsheathes his sword and starts ascending and as soon as he sees the sparrows he spots a hollow in the mountain and climbs in and follows the path through and when he reaches the top he spots the mages and he decides to think of a plan and when he does he finds a dead trick sparrow and throws it up and when the mages start attacking it he climbs up and kills them before they have a chance to attack after that he climbs onto the cannon and fires at the rock which destroys it and the chest starts to fall and blank quickly rushes down after it and grabs it before it hits the ground

Marcus: *Marcus starts climbing the little mountain, when he reached halfway he spot Trick Sparrows starting to drop the rocks*
Ok, lets try this move again.
*Marcus spins his sword and the rock dropped on him counters on Trick Sparrows*
Easier than killing an Oglop.
*As he almost reached the top of the mountain he could see 12 Black Mages standing around the cannon. Marcus thinks...*
If I use those rocks that Tricky Sparrows are dropping on me while they're readying Fira spell I should beat them all in one turn.
*Marcus climbs near the top and then the mages spotted him and start readying Fira*
C'mon Sparrows, throw a rock.
*One Sparrow drops a rock on Marcus*
Perfect!
*Marcus spins his sword again and counters the rock on mages, but he misses*
Damn!
*Black Mages casted Fira but Marcus manages to hide behind the big rock*
Thats it I am going for it!
*Marcus angrily runs for the mages while taking the damage and slices them all, Marcus climbs at cannon and says...*
Aim and fire!
*Marcus shots at the huge rock and destroys it*
Now lets get the treasure chest.
*Marcus starts to run down the mountain, he started to run faster. Marcus falls while trying to stop but falls right near the chest*
Ouch! I'll ask Kuja or Eiko later to heal me.
*Marcus grabs the chest and heads for the camp limping*

OOC: Yeah-yeah, I'll do it right now. I'll just edit this post with my scenario.

Kuja: The first part will be cake...who does Garland think I am?

*Kuja dashes up the mountain towards the cannon, he encounters 6 black mages, they all cast a simultaneous Fira spell. Kuja casts Reflect, and the Fira strikes 5 of them, resulting in K.O. Kuja decides to leave the last one there so as not to waste any time. Kuja encounters the last 6 mages scattered about. Just when Kuja was preparing Reflect, the mage he spared came behind him, and cast Silence!*

Kuja: (What!? Garland said they could only cast Fira! That snake....how will I do this without my spells? Ah! What's worse, my Reflect just wore off!)

*The black mages all cast Fira, but Kuja dodges, and the Firas hits one of the black mages resulting in K.O.*

Kuja: (Serves you right...)

*Kuja runs away, but the black mages are right on his tail. Kuja gets to the narrow pathway, and the rocks that are being dropped by Trick Sparrows fall on 5 black mages, excluding the one Kuja spared earlier.*

Kuja: (That was lucky...but one more...)

*Kuja's progress is halted by the Trick Sparrows trying to drop rocks upon him.
Then he pulls out a dead Sahagin that he took from Steiner and was going to eat. Kuja chucks the Sahagin off the cliff, and the Trick Sparrows go after it.*

Kuja: (That'll buy me a little time...)

*Kuja makes it to the top of the mountain, but the black mage is still on his tail. The black mage casts Fira, but Kuja dodges, and the Fira lights the cannon-rope-thingy. Kuja jumps in the cannon as well! The cannon fires Kuja, and the cannon ball. Kuja uses his Fly ability to swerve out of the way of the cannon ball, and soften his own landing. The cannon ball shatters the rock, and Kuja lands near the chest after the impact. Kuja takes the chest, and claims victory*

Amarant approached the path with caution, he could hear flapping. Slowly he straffed along the rocky wall and leant around the corner, only to be met by a rock hurtling at him with great force.

Amarant:Woah! So this is what I'm up against is it. So be it.

Deciding to abandon the idea of creeping along, he jumped out from behind the wall to be confronted by a mass of Trick Sparrows, armed with rocks.
Amarant was quick. A great advantage here. Quickly, he set off, making a windmill motion with his arms so that he propelled most of the rocks back in the direction of the Sparrows. They were flying at him thick and fast, causing problems. Growing ever more annoyed, Amarant lept into the air and took down two Sparrows; plenty more where that came from.
He devised a devious scheme. Amarant jumped in between two groups of Sparrows, practically begging them to hit him with rocks. As they threw the rocks, Amarant dropped back down, causing the Sparrows to strike each other. Trick Sparrow's were anything but clever and started attacking each other.

Amarant:Pfft. Idiots.

Finally he reaches the mages; the real challenge. He could see them readying fira and needed to at quickly. One quick glance over his broad right shoulder brought a tall rock to his attention.

Amarant: Hmm, potential cover.

He made a bold run towards the rock and just before he reached the cover, the mages released a torrent of fira; narrowly missing Amarant. Again, he poked his head around the corner to see the mages acting strangely slugish. Looks like they need time to recharge from that spell. Perfect. All he had to do was draw an attack, dodge it, and then let rip.

Amarant stepped out and stood firmly rooted to the spot, almost taunting the mages. As expected, they all prepared fira simultaniously. Amarant was prepared for this and made a dive for behind the rock once again. A wall of fire swept past him, scorching the rock faces and causing a hellish heat.

Hastily, he ran out from the other side and made a beeline directly for the mages. Holding his claws outwards, Amarant stood directly in front of a black mage and stared it coldly in it's expressionless eyes. They were like robots. Amarant began to run around the mages in a circle, slashing them all in the gut with his outstreched claws.
To his horror, it looked as if they were about to strike once more. This was not the case however; they fell down like dominoes.
Wasting little time, Amarant approached the cannon and took aim. With an almighty blast, the cannon let fly directly for the rock containing the teasure chest, completely oblitterating it.

Wasting little time, he ran towards the chest and grabbed it without stopping. He hoped it was all worth it.

OOC: Well there is only one treasure...but if you have to assume no one as got it before you like The Guv´na explained.

GARLAND:

Humm....i have yet to see all of the competitors in action.

Eiko looked at the obstacles standing between her and the cannon. Between the Trick Sparrows and the Black Mages, Eiko figured the Mages would be more of a pain. In case a rock comes hurtling down onto her cute little noggin, Eiko played a few tunes on her flute and cast a baby-blue veil of protection over herself.

And with that, Eiko started running towards the Mages, covering her head and going for broke up the side of the mountain. The Trick Sparrows swooped down, releasing the rocks from their talons and aiming for the poor girl. Eiko cried out in pain as an especially sharp one landed right at the base of her horn. She came to a halt and looked up at the Sparrows, rather annoyed and a little frustrated at them. They swooped back towards the peak to gather more rocks.

As the Trick Sparrows collected their 'weapons' and flew back towards Eiko, they found the girl standing there waiting for them, a little antsy, even. Before they got too close, Eiko blew a tune into her flute. A bright, white light flashed out at the sparrows, engulfing them all in her holy magic. The first casting only left them fazed, so Eiko repeated the tune. The Trick Sparrows took this chance to pelt the summoner with all they've got before she finished weaving the spell. Several rocks hit home and Eiko stopped mid-tune to shield her face. Eiko was bleeding, but it was nothing her magic couldn't help. Hoping she wouldn't have to start over, Eiko finished the last few measures of her song and looked up at the Sparrows. They turned to retreat again, but were stuck down by the white light again. The birds plummeted towards the ground, leaving a trail of feathers above them. Eiko ignored the rain of birds and played another calming tune. Bits and pieces of green light surrounded her wounds and began to regenerate them slowly. (Regen)

Eiko turned her attention to the Mages further up the mountain. Before actually approaching them, the little White Mage leaned against a nearby boulder and pondered her attack. Her Holy spell wouldn't do it and her Eidolions would be overkill...

...wait...Eidolions?

Eiko brought her flute to her lips and was ready to call upon the aid of Carbuncle. However, after playing a C natural, she paused. Why summon an Eidolion when she's only protecting herself? She changed her beginning note from C natural to D sharp and played a tune that sounded like it'd be the same when played backwards. (Eh, forgot the term for the moment...) When she finished, a red bubble-like shield stood in front of her, ready to reflect any spells casted towards her. Eiko nodded in satisfaction: what better way to deal with the Black Mages than to send their own spells back at them? At least she wouldn't feel as bad the next time she sees Vivi.

Knowing her reflective shield was deteriorating as the minutes go by, Eiko hurried as fast as she could to the peak of the mountain. Up ahead, she saw some dark figures in pointed hats. No doubt about it; those were the Black Mages. They stood as a living wall between Eiko and the cannon. In unison, the Mages raised their hands and embers crackled out of their palms. By now, Eiko was a little nervous: would her spell be able to reflect all of their Fira spells at once?

The moment of truth came.

The Black Mages casted a wave of flames towards the little girl. Eiko squeaked a little and held her arms up in front of her face instinctively. She could feel the heat of the flames, yet it didn't scorch her. When Eiko peeked between her arms, seeing the flaming mages quite confused and trying to put each other out with their Water spells. The Water put out the fire all right, but they ended up killing each other off accidentally until there was only one remaining. He was smart enough to just roll on the ground instead of relying on a damaging spell to do the work for him. Eiko readied her flute and began to play her tune for Holy again, but the Mage beat her to spell-casting by trying another Fira spell. The fire seemed to bend merely a foot away from the little girl and flew back towards the mage, scorching him to death. Was that suicide or merely following orders? Eiko couldn't decide either way.

She hurried past the burnt mages and finally reached the cannon. It was already aimed at the rock that Garland mentioned. Eiko just had to figure out how to set off the fuse. She looked back at the mages, but realized that they had disappeared already. Looks like she'd have to resort to a rather primitive method to set off the cannon.

Eiko looked for a pair of good-sized stones and brought them to the cannon. She clashed them together, scraping one stone over the other, but it didn't create enough of a spark to jump onto the fuse. Eiko sighed and brought the stones closer to it, repeating the motion over and over until finally, the fuse hissed as it was being burnt. Eiko dropped the rocks and ran to the side, covering her ears. The cannon fired its shot, rolling back a little from the recoil. The ball smashed the rock open and exposed the treasure chest. Turns out, the lid was blown right off of it in the explosion. The little girl jumped for joy, glad that the cannon actually worked! She ran over to the chest as quick as she could, slipping and sliding along the way, and gathered the treasure within.

Steiner: as steiner goes up the moutain steiner spots the sparrows carring rocks and catches the rocks and chucks them back at the sparrows.

Steiner: makes it to where the black mages are stiener see the 12 mages . runs at the mages and as the 12 mages hear his armor they begin to use fira on stiener, steiner gets hit by the fira spells but they don't do much damage from his large hp pool, then uses stock break on them twice killing them. gets to the cannon lights the cannon it fire and detroys the rock, steiner starts running down the mountain trips and starts to roll down to mountain and stops near the trasure chest.

steiner: opens the chest and heads back to camp

GARLAND:

Most of the entries...are in...still have to wait for Vivi for i know he´s still a regular in here...soon i will judge and announce the winner...those who have already participated might want to think about resting a bit...because hard times are coming.;)

After finishing his immunity challenge, Amarant decided to rest around the camp fire. It had been a massive day, with the Antlion and everything else. Come to think of it, he can't even remember the group receiving a reward or exp for defeating the Antlion queen

As he looked around, he could see the rest of the party drained of energy. Eiko, with her sweet little face, was drifting in and out of sleep. Marcus was nursing his wounds. Blank was polishing his sword and Steiner was just staring into the camp fire.

Amarant:Damn I'm tired...And extremely thirsty!

OOC: Nop no prize for beating the queen! As she was not one of Garlands puppets:)

GARLAND:

*sees everyone sleeping and resting*

So sweet...it sure would be naughty of me to wake them up right now...

*uses psichokenesis to lift a huge rock and make it fall on the ground making a loud noise*

"WAKE UP!!!!!!!!DOGS...i mean CONTESTANTS!"
