Amarant gathers himself and charges at the Antlion, claws spread outwards. At the very same time, Marcus readies his sword and repeatedly slashes the monster in the head.
Dragging his claw along the floor, gathering rubble and dust at the same time, Amarant runs closer to the Antlion. When in range he swipes for the face of the Antlion, blinding him with the debris and leaving massive gash in the process.

Amarant:Go, Marcus! Finish it off!

OOC: Garnet!?

GARLAND:

Pity...well maybe the Antilon kills them then...

((XD Gar-land. Garland. Not Garnet, that's pretty much the opposite of Garland))

"Ewww...I think I got some of this honey stuff in my flute!"

Eiko tried shaking it out, but with no avail. It still made her flute make an off-tone. Even some of the keys were blocked.

Still, that didn't keep Eiko from casting magic. She raised her hands and a bright, white light flew forth and hit the Antlion Queen. Not only did the light stall her for a bit, but the holy magic added on to the damage.

Marcus: *Marcus consecutively slashes the Antlion Queen, Antlion Queen again lowers her head to drink from the liquid*
Not again!
*Marcus jumps into the liquid and slices Antlion Queen's mouth*
Amarant, we two must strike the Antlion Queen so that Eiko can cast Holy into Antlion Queen's mouth.

Amarant jumps beside Marcus, and winds up one almighty swing. The Antlion was indeed strong, but it was outnumbered so the group always had the upper hand.
From the direction of the cave entry, there was a cool breeze suddenly creeping in. This seemed like the best time to destroy this mammoth, before Garland could trap them again.

Amarant: Marcus, if we attack it at the same time, we'll do more damage!

Amarant growled with rage, while Eiko readied her flute and Marcus prepared his sword; ready to strike it in the face of the Antlion.

Marcus: CHARGE!!!
*Marcus and Amarant striked Antlion Queen, monster growled of pain*
Eiko now!

Eiko concentrated harder than usual and directed her magic straight for the Antlion's mouth. The light was bright enough to illuminate this room and the surrounding tunnels. The holy energies flew directly towards the monster and hit home.

The Antlion Queen screeched in pain, loud enough for Eiko to cover her ears. Was it enough to kill it off?

Marcus: *Antlion Queen started to flash yellow but it gradually dissapeared*
We did it guys, now lets go back to the surface. Eiko can your Phoenix break through the ceiling of the hive?

Eiko looked up at the ceiling, then looked down at her flute.

"Well, I can try. I can't guarantee anything since the flute is clogged, but we'll see..."

Eiko placed the sticky reed in front of her and closed her eyes, cringing at any off-tune notes she may have played. Once the little diddy was finished, Eiko stood for several moments. It seemed like the Phoenix wasn't coming. Eiko brought her flute down sadly.

"...I guess it di-"

Eiko was quickly cut off by a rumble in the ground. Her eyes were wide as she looked about. Realizing what had just happened, Eiko shouts to everyone.

"Quick, move back to the tunnel!"

Eiko ran to the nearest tunnel and stayed ducked in. Those that obeyed did the same thing. A giant fist made of the earth and stone burst out of the 'honey' and broke through the ceiling above. What wasn't flown into the sand caved into the...well, cave as soon as the 'hand' pulled back into the crater it made. The damage wasn't as bad as it could have been. Some of the honey seeped into the crater, though most of it surrounded the rubble that fell into it.

Eiko dusted herself off and looked up at the hole.

"...soo how do we get out of here, exactly?"

Marcus: Too bad for the 'honey', well looks like we have either go into the tunnels and find an exit or dig our way out.

Eiko looks around for a stick or a root or something, but can't really find anything to clean her flute out with. She can only hope that it doesn't get hard inside her flute, for it'll be harder to get the keys unstuck that way.

"...well, where should we start, then? I don't think Kuja will fly us out of here." Looking at her flute again, she continued, "...and I'm not sure if I'll be able to get the Phoenix down here with my flute like this. Why couldn't I have a racket instead?"

It would be tough getting out of the cave the way they came in, but it didn't seem as if there was much choice. Maybe Amarants claws could help them clamber out of the hole in the cave roof...

Amarant:You guys wait here. I can clamber out of the hole in the cave roof using my claws. Once I'm there, I can throw a vine down.

This was the best idea they had for now. Otherwise they may have to use Kuja; that wouldn't go well.

Amarant scratched his claws together, trying to make them as sharp as possible. He jumped onto the cave wall and quickly climbed up the wall, almost spider-like. He needed to be quick in case the Antlion's lair collapsed completely.
He finally reached the exit, but slipped when trying to pull himself out

Amarant:Damn it! I just need to pull myself up...

Using the rest of his strength, Amarant managed to pull himself up and out of the cave. He had never been so happy to see this ridiculous island.
Sprinting over to the forest, he knew that the vines may not reach. The best option was to knock a tree down; they were huge after all so they should've be long enough...shouldn't they?
With his remaining MP, Amarant used No Mercy taking down three trees; nearly obliteratting them. The vines just weren't long enough! His only option was to tie the vines together.
He managed to quickly form some kind of extended vine and thread it through down into the cave.

Amarant:Grab on guys! Careful though, it might be a bit weak...

Marcus: *Everyone started to climb on the vine and then they reached the cave entrance and got out*
Ahhhh, fresh air finally!

"...guess I was wrong about the woods part..."

Eiko follows the rest of the crew out and flops onto the sand. Sure, she's had to climb before, but not quite like that. After taking a brief breather, Eiko smiled over at Amarant.

"Thanks, Red."

And with that, she got up and started walking towards the nearest source of water she could think of - the beach - to clean out her flute.
