Final Fantasy I: The Warriors of Light

Since I already have a Rapier and I can't use spells, i'll go for the Chain mail, if Jesse, Oliver, Lee and Vikki are in agreement? :hmmm:

Sounds good.

Edit: Lee, I didn't consider that basic math xD that would work fine as a starter, though my leftover gil can go towards anyone's spells or equips.

GIMMEGIMMEGIMMEGIMME. :wacky: I actually just need 8 for Clothes. You don't want a brutha traipsing around naked do you? :gonk:

Hahaha, weren't you after Leather Armor? :P

(little tip for ye, in FF1 you can be fully equipped without running out of gil in Cornelia so don't worry about saving gil up too much ;) particularly mages)

Well i'll try to work out the math, when taking spells into account and whether it's possible or not from there in the morning, unless i'm beaten to it :hmmm:

Hopefully tomorrow we can get up to Garland :awesome:

Alright, Adding everything up we have 185 gil, including Blaise's leather armour leaves us with 145 gil.

Marialla has 2 white magic slots left, Blaise has 1 red magic slot remaining and you have enough gil for 2 more spells, unless you wait until Garland is defeated and get it when we get back to Cornelia. Then we'd have enough gil for all 3 slots.

I'll see how much we have after selling leftover equips, and then give ye the options for what remains to equip

Alright, we have 153 gil now, enough for the 3 remaining spell slots. However, Mariella is able to buy the hammer, Blaise is able to buy a Rapier, Wylfred is able to buy a Rapier and Leather armour.

However, if ye want to save money but be less equipped we can go meet the King now :monster: /trots off to make post where I buy chain mail

I'm good on magic for now, I think. But I'll go ahead and snag that Rapier.

/trundles off to the shops.

I think that sounds good

/heads to a shop to buy thunder and sleep...

Considering the class party, protect would be quite useful, i'm all for it :monster:

Also, as i'm sure those who have read have noticed, once you're done shopping meet at the fountain in the center of the town to proceed to the King

Does that include crystal-less little old me Damoh?
Or am I involved in this magical crystal presenting meeting anyway?

Well once we meet up, only the 'crystalled' Warriors of Light will proceed to the king, at that point you're free to either wait for us, or follow us of your own will after the meeting.

Since unlike the 4, you're not duty bound to save the world from darkness :monster: least not to the same degree.

We haven't got any (if we're talking potions, antidotes etc here)

... Drat, I forgot to pull up the potion prices list :hmmm: / loads up FF1

Alright, Item shop

Potion - 40 gil
Antidote - 50 gil
Sleeping Bag - 50 gil (these, unlike in the game will be used to keep a wounded ally off the dirty floor to avoid infection etc as well as generally being comfier :hmmm:)

Protect sounds good to me, Vikki. And since Mariella and I are doubling up on cure, I think we're fine without potions right now. But maybe an antidote or two just in case?

If we assume Wylfred buys Leather Armor and a Rapier, and Mariella buys a Hammer, we'll have 48 to go, just enough for a single potion. :gasp:

/i'm taking selling items back into account too :mokken:

:hmmm: Might have to go without then. But then, there isn't anything that'll poison us until/if we go to the Marsh Cave, right?
