Final Fantasy 15 at E3?

I don't know if it's legit, but it was an interesting read. The art work looks kinda funny though, lol.

Everyone's been speculating and wanting Versus to turn into 15, but I never heard that Versus was never meant to be Versus. If this is true, I'll be only a teeny tiny bit disappointed because I LIKED "Final Fantasy Versus XIII" - The "Versus" part matches the dark theme of the game, so it makes more sense, but I would be happier, I guess, if it does become Final Fantasy 15 because it does look good enough to stand alone as its own game, also because everyone has been treating this game like a god of its own, so it might be better off that way. But, still...I think it'll ruin what the "Fabula Nova Crystallis" XIII series was supposed to be, not that FF13 already ruined that. But, you know, Versus's world that was supposed to be the third world makes me wonder what the point of Agito (or, ugh, "Type-0") was. Whatever happens to the title, I'm just happy that we'll be seeing "Versus" again and hopefully with a lot more info this time.

Oh, yeah - and as for this being "the last hope"...I don't know. I think people will definitely lose A LOT of hope for FF if Versus doesn't turn out right because it looks so good and it CAN be that good; it's just up to them to make it good which is why if they don't...I think people will start leaving FF. It's been since FF11 that we have not seen a good title to the series and 3 Lightnings during that time...that's a lot of years gone to waste. If they do it to us again, I think a lot of us will feel that a good FF is no longer coming. They need that Saki guy back to make this right! The one who can really tell stories! :O
 
That's not a reputable source because the claims it puts forward as fact are baseless. If Versus is renamed, or assimilated, into Final Fantasy XV, it will have been a recent decision, not because it was planned so from the start. The only thing Square have said - foolishly - is that the Lightning trilogy was planned from the start, which is obviously rubbish because back in 2006 when they revealed their conceived vision for Fabula Nova Crystallis, no one in the company foresaw what would happen with FFXIII, future company performances, internal politics, and the state of the industry as it is now.

I do expect Versus to be re-revealed as Final Fantasy XV at this point. When Hashimoto stepped on stage in the PS4 reveal show to announce that they are preparing a Final Fantasy game for the PS4 (notice if you go back to it how Hashimoto never said they were preparing a "NEW" Final Fantasy. They were only preparing "A" Final Fantasy title), he was probably referring to Versus. Why do I think he wasn't referring to the revealing of a totally new Final Fantasy? Because I don't expect them to be very far into the production of a totally new next-gen Final Fantasy. Why reveal something so early again, when they expressly disclosed that they would never pull a hilariously early announcement like Versus again?

Realistically, the full next-gen title will be a while off yet, hence why Versus would make the perfect FFXV. It's new. We've barely seen anything of it. They've expressed a while back that they're interested in looking at a more action-RPG experience with a future installment. The only question for me is, in what FORM - and to what extent will the original conception of Versus be realised as they prepare to show it at E3?

As far as I'm concerned, "Fabula Nova Crystallis: Final Fantasy XIII" has totally failed from what they originally conceived it to be. Type-0 has jumped ship (though it has kept the mythology, but not the XIII monikor). I believe Versus also will throw away the XIII monikor. The XIII mothership left has turned into the "Lightning Saga".

EDIT: If in two weeks' time I have been proven wrong, I will bake myself a humble pie in case.
 
I was hoping ff versus was not named 15. Its a project underneath another numbered game. If it does get renamed, they will most likely change the logo's coloring like they did with Type-0. I also hope it cut ties with FNC.
 
I really wouldn't call this a reliable source.

Although something tells me Versus will be on the next platform, something inside me hanging on by a thread hopes that Square-Enix will somehow still make it for PS3.

As far as "Final Fantasy XV" is concern, if Square-Enix is going to announce it, they will do it at E3, not before E3.

I wouldn't believe any news of Versus or Final Fantasy XV until E3 is underway and you get real sources stating the information.
 
It's fake that picture logo of Final Fantasy XV has been around the interwebs since about 2010 maybe even earlier. Though if they announce FF XV at E3 that would be neat.
