Has anyone had this poblem to: I can't start my game up anymore. When i insert my disc, it starts up, then i try to load my last save file, or any other save file, and after it loads, it gets stuck. I can't do anything anymore but finish the game with my ps button. I was near the end of the game, so i'd really like to finish it. I tried starting a new game, witch doesn't work, and I olso tried borrowing another disc, and that doesn't help either. Anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried to see if any of your other games are having the same problem?

It could be your PS3 (hopefully not).

I can't think of anything else that could be the problem unfortunately, especially if you said that you borrowed another FFXIII disc and it still doesn't work. =/

Your whole FFXIII data block may be corrupted?

If so it wont matter what disc you put in there.
other save files as well not just the last 1......:hmmm:
You may have to face the facts the data is gone and start again?

None of my other games have any trouble loading, thankfully, but the ff13 has been giving me trouble before. Sometimes when i tried to safe the game it got stuck, but this usually only took a couple of minutes, after witch i could move again. Last time i played this hapened again, but this time it stayed stuck, so i finally had to turn of my PS3. After this i couldn't do anything with it anymore.

The problem is that i can't start a new game either, so it can't just be a currupted save file can't it?

Mod edit: Please do not double post.

How old is your machine, it may be too old to play the graphics on FFXIII are very densely
packed full of texture and multiple enemies and backgrounds to generate, its alot for an aged machine.

Dude no double posting....youll get noticed!
Edit one of your posts quick smart!

Have you tried starting a new game on a borrowed disc? I imagine if your disc is screwed and your data file is corrupted, loading on a different disc wouldn't work but maybe starting a new game will? :hmmm:
