Help FFXIII: Chapters

Okay so maybe I'm slow or whatever but I was wondering how you know if you've completed a chapter.

Does it pop up on the screen and say, 'Woot you've completed chapter 1' or something along those lines?

I've not gotten that far yet as I've only played a couple of hours or so on it and just want to know for future reference please. >.<
 
When you reach a save point, and save, it says the amount of time you've played, and the chapter you are on. It don't think it will tell you that you have completed one.

You know I did tell myself to look when I got to a save point because I know on previous FF games that it tells you the same thing at save points.

I just haven't looked when I've been saving on this game and keep missing it to find out if it does tell you. >.<

The only in-game warning you'll get that you've finished a chapter is the trophy/achievement you'll get in the next section after you've beaten a particularly large boss with an excessive amount of health. I've noticed, in the PS3 version at least, that when you're prompted to save your game after said boss battle the save icon is the FFXIII logo on a white background, as opposed to what character you're currently playing as. Dunno if there is a 360 equivalent to this, though...
 
Well, there is the trophy thing (everytime you get one is when you complete a chapter) But, what I also noticed is that if you go to the Main Menu> Datalog>Events you can go through the different events (in chapters) showing you what chapters you've completed or the chapter your currently in. (on PS3)
 
It tells you next to your save point or start off with different characters. So lets say Sazh and Vanille. Chapter IV ends when you beat the eidolon as Lightning and Hope. Then you proceed to chapter V. It tells you also on the save files. Yes and by your cheives/trophies
 
You'll notice when you get the trophy/achievement normally however you know you're near the end of the chapter when you find a boss that you and your party can struggle with, hope this helps =]

I was getting annoyed because when you actually save your progress it doesn't give you any information about what chapter your on. You have to actually load the game for it to show you that information on your saved files, which is weird. =/

But oh well not that big of a deal. =P

Could a mod please close this as there's nothing much left to discuss here. =)
