It almost makes me wanna play it.

Though it's probably some sort of photo shop.

Hmm looks like it might be a supped up Version of RPG Maker maybe a new version?

otherwise I dont know of any other RPG Program thats on the market that can do that =/

Unless it was a Fan made game for those who dident wait for SE to get off their bun's and make a remake lol

Which would naturally result in SE getting off their ass in a flash to send a Cease and desist.

I swear sometimes that's the only thing I think they're good at anymore.
 
Actually thats not true Kesha,They can Avoid a lawsuit if they dont ask for money in return I know this much because a fan made version of .hack was made awhile back and has a 3d version,they were sued alot but beat the cases because of a technicality.

course this is just me hopeing

Good luck with that.

It would require an small group of people to have the money to buy lawyers to defend a case that shouldn't be.

And I've seen dozens of Chrono Trigger/Chrono Cross games die that were free because of C&D letters from Square.
 
Well It really depends on the Delevolpers that are making it but meh Im searching online to see if i can find the original site where this was taken from.

If it is a joke should be somewhere on here =/

Does he make that pose in any of the Dissidias?

If so it could just be a screenshot with a photshopped menu.
 
Yeah, there's no Dissida screenshot possible of him striking that pose. That's what's so weird about this 8(
 
Well given those names on the left aren't anyone from FFVII, let alone Cloud and co, pretty big bet it's fake.

And the nitpickers will see Cloud is in a magic casting stance, even though the screen shows a selection on another command :wacky:

And odds are that that is a single scene someone was able to make with all them programs out there on the web (plus official ones people actually buy). I bet there's no actual footage either.

I've seen a lot of "official" fanmade stuff on pixiv. If you know what you're doing, it isn't that hard :hmmm:

bah and here I was hopeing someone secretly made a fan made revamp D=

but Fusionist makes alot of good points unless it was a summon and that was someone elses turn =o xD

But it wouldent be impossible for someone to dupe it use the old FF7 models and make a skin that looks updated =/ but thats alooot of time to waste T.T
 
I think it looks great if it were ever to be considered a remake, anything is better than the original in terms of graphics. But sadly it is fake and of course is not up to todays standards not even in the portable market.
 
I would wager it's just a PC Mod. The PC version allows you to install modifications and a lot of them are just graphic updates. This one's a lot sharper in detail, but I'd put money on it it's just PC version. Hense the name changes since it's technically an old game you can change names with.

I think this is the most plausible answer. I google'd around and I found that there are a lot of different mods to update the graphics in the PC version of FFVII.
 
I actually always argued that a remake of FFVII with this quality of visuals would be more than adequate rather than a full blown current gen AAA treatment. but whenever I even mention the 3DS or other portable system that can easily support this level of graphics and more, they take great liberty in voicing their disapproval. Haha.

That's because the 3DS is crap.

It would probably have to be a Sony console anyway. Wouldn't mind seeing it for the PSP though. It would be neat, and the graphics would be good enough.

Too many people want flash now days. -_-
