Feigning Ill

hahaha ive done this alot. I wake up monday morning after a heavy weekend and i think. . . fuck im not going to work today i cannot be arsed so i phone in and make an excuse saying why i cant make it. I try and make it believable xD I wouldnt go saying i stepped on a nail or anything. Its something ive cut down on now though, i got a little warnin about days off last year so since then ive been on best behaviour (kinda)
But yeah im very guilty of having days off whens theres nothing wrong with me, i guess sometimes i just lack the motivation to go to work as i dont really enjoy my job all that much. Though saying that, if i got sacked id be gutted.

I've never pretended to be sick to stay home from school/work, but I have pretended to have really "important" preexisting plans to skip days :D I actually got a note once from my mom in high school excusing me for one day for the purpose of "looking into potential colleges" in Orlando--I did go there, to a college, but it was to see a band I liked perform at the university's theatre :smartass: Unfortunately my best friend told on me in my absence :mokken:, but the teacher was cool about it so it turned out all right. As far as work, when I was at Blockbuster doing night shifts, I was often asked to switch my schedule around based on other people quitting etc., but if there was a weekly TV show on that I wanted to see, I'd always say I couldn't ever work on that particular night because I had a recurring "previous engagement" I don't feel bad though--they always found the coverage they needed and I worked the hell out of that place for crap payment.
