How many of you have a favourite song? One that you will never ever ever get tired of hearing? And, why is it your favourite? What makes it so special?

Since I've been loving you by Led Zeppelin, and I prefer it to stairway to heaven. The song consists of two outstanding performances. There's Jimmy Page whose blues playing is sublime. On top of that there's Robert Plant's vocals which are superb, it's one of, if the best example of blues rock.

Hard to say but il go with

Dizzy by Jimmy eat world

Why do i like this song more than any other? Everything, its so well written both lyrically and musically. Uhm i really dont know what more to say than that it sounds fucking brilliant.
Also shout out to hotel california and Wish you were her aswell. Great tunes.

Climbing up the walls by Radiohead

Yorke's vocals are terrifying yet cool at the same time. No song has ever come close to giving me a sheer sense of effortless horror like that one. The background is slow, with an eery feeling and you get the feeling somebody escaped from a psychiatric prison.

I'm gonna have to say that my favourite ever song is Rhiannon, by Fleetwood Mac.

It's Stevie Nicks' trademark song, and it's absolutely fantastic. I love how she changes it each time she sings it live xD I have about 5 different version of it too, cause it's such a fantastic song. It sounds far better live though, especially in the 1970s before she'd messed up her voice with drugs, and when she really lets loose at the end.

My favorite serious song is probably I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing by Aerosmith.
Favorite funny song Tribute by Tenacious D.

It's hard to pick out a single song, obviously. But I think it would probably be something by Oasis, as they've slowly taken place as my favourite band. But then it's still damn near impossible to pick out just one of their songs. But I'll go out on a limb and say Champagne Supernova. It's a classic of theirs that will probably never get old, and I really like the way it builds up from being so soft to the full-on energy it has.

Bat Out of Hell by Meat Loaf. Over 9 minutes of varying-pace rock bliss. The song itself never grows repetitive because it has a fair share of rhythm changes, like many other medley-like songs of Meat Loaf.
But Bat has some kind of unique energy to it that made me fell in love with it - you can tell the singer actually loves what he's singing there.

This is a tough one, but I'll have to go with Sunday Morning by a Australian reggae group called Tamarama. I like this song because it has a nice beat to it, and it's just an easy-going song.

Mitzi Dupree by Deep Purple. It has a thick bluesy groove, a great riff courtesy of Ritchie Blackmore, and a quirky lyric about falling in love with a woman who can shoot ping pong balls with her privates :P It's unbelievably funny and catchy at the same time, and Ian Gillan's vocal delivery is a fun take on the classic blues singers.

"I'm the S-I-I-I-I-NGER in a band!"

Take note of the original post guys, put more effort in your replies, thanks

EMI - Anima Libera
It is an Italian song about being free. I find it quite catchy since its in Italian, and I love the lyrics in the song.

My most favorite song ever would definitely be: 3 Libra's by A Perfect Circle.
It's just an amazing song, and I would never get tired of it!
It has great lyrics, beautiful melody, beautiful instruments, and Maynard's voice for it is perfect. Plus there's lots of memories behind that song.

Well I have so many favorite songs and I can't really list them. I mostly love all of Yuna Itos songs. Trust you, Urban mermaid etc.. I also love some of U2s songs like new years day and One. I just have too many.
