Firstly, this is a warning, incase some particularly witty person wants to complain about the lack of proximity to Christman itself. No.

With that out of the way, the thread is pretty much self explanitory.

Mine are probably Last Christmas by Wham and Fairytale of New York by the Pogues.

For some reason I enjoy Paul McCartney's Wonderful Christmas Time. I just like the catchy tune that goes with it. It's also one of those songs, I actually know the words to as well.

my favorite would be silver bells

sorry i don't think the new songs are as good as the classics

I am not really sure about this one hmmmm probably wonderful christmas or you know am not really sure maybe the 12 pains of christmas. The 12 pains of christmas is ok but I think Ill take wonderful christmas time.

My favorite Christmas song is We Wish You A Merry Christmas. Even though it is a very short song I still like it because it seems like your wishing people a Merry Christmas. When I sing it the song makes me feel like I am with family.

Mine would have to be White Christmas by Bing Crosby. It's just one of those timeless classics that you can't help but love ^^ Second favorite would be Silver Bells. I use to love singing it it choir when I was younger.

I got another favorite song and it is I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause because I think it is a cute song. Another song is Grandma Got Ran Over By A Raindeer. Out of those two I would pick Grandma Got Ran Over By A Raindeer because I like the rythem.

Fairytale of New York by The Pogues.
They tried 2 ban that song last year in the UK because of its use of the word faggot. Now being one myself I don't find it at all offensive and neither does anyone I know, and it's the only Christmas song I can think of that is a good song in its own right - I can't have a christmas without it! It just really bugs me when people get offended on other people's behalf.

PS RIP Kirsty McColl

It was Radio 1 who censored the word when playing it, but the censoring didn't last very long as everyone complained at how stupid it was, and how they'd had no problem playing it for the previous 20 years up to then.

And indeed RIP Kirsty McColl, sadly missed :(

fairy tale of new york is a really good tune, heard it last night. Gotta say i like ' here it is merry christmas ' by slade or watever its called, gets me in good spirits

I have quite a few favorite Christmas songs and they're all classics. Silent Night, The First Noel, Do You Hear What I Hear?, Gloria in Excelsis Deo, and Hark the Herald Angels Sing are among my favorites. I remember the times when my friends and I joined choir at a random church just to sing those Christmas songs. xD Ah, good memories.

Well jingle bells is a classic but it can get annoying sometimes if you keep on hearing it all over again and again. We wish you a merry christmas is a nice family song. White christmas is a really nice song.

Yeah, I remember that. Everyone is terrified someone is going to get offended by ANYTHING these days. Did anyone actually ring up and complain? Or was our country being a mummy nation once again? Its truly a fab Xmas song and deserves to be sung whilst drunk and eating mince pies! I also love "Wish it could be Christmas everyday" by Wizzard. That just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Jingle Bells by Korn and ANYTHING by the Trans Siberian Orchestra. They are a really good band!

I'd say I like Frosty The Snowman by the Jackson 5. It's sych a sweet and jumpy song. Surely to lift anyone's sorrow ^_^

i generally love anything to do with christmas so any song is good, although i do enjoy i wish it could be christmas everyday, purly as if it happend itd be amazing XD
