Favorite Job/Class?

Sorry if this is already a thread...if it is I understand if this is closed. But if it isn't, I'm curious to see which type of job/class people are most fond of in the games. There's quite a few in the series: knights, ninjas, dragoons, samurai, monks, white Mage, black Mage, summoner, etc.
My personal favorite are the monk classes. I always like the monk characters (Yang, Sabin, Tifa, etc.) and find their abilities to be entertaining. It's just something about beating the crap of your opponents with fists that's awesome.
 
To me, it's stuck between the Thief and the Dragoon class. I loved Zidane and Cid/Freya. They're the best in my opinion. :3 And I sport the Thief class in Secret of Mana 2, so yeah. n.n

Forgot to mention: Twin Daggers are the best so yeah :I
 
I like Paladin. In FFIV, I loved Cecil's character arc, and in battle the physical/white magic combination is really effective. I know it's not as common as say, White Mage or whatever, but in games like FFVII and FFVIII, Cloud and Squall usually end up being Paladins anyway in that they're largely physical characters, but I give them a bit of white magic to help defend their party.
 
I like the thief class, and black mages too. I really wish they had an archer class, Fran comes close.
 
Hmm...I don't like job classes very much, or more like games that basically require the usage of them, like having to constantly change them to make the game work for you (FF3). But in my experience with that in FF3, I'd have to say the scholar one was pretty cool. The fact that I was smacking monsters around with a gigantic book in my hand that actually had pretty high hit points...was powerful. In such a cute and moving way. While looking smart, too. Like a founding mother. O.O

But in most games that don't have job class changes where the characters have their own set class, my favorite is paladin, also. Because...it's always the main character, the person who you're most concerned with who's good in both physical and magic use.
 
Dragoon and the Black mage have always been my fav,though I favored the black mage moreso,,Kain,Vivi,Cid from VII were alot of awesomeness with the lance and spellcasting.

It's really hard to say which is my favorite. I guess it changes depending on the mood I'm in.
 
I've taken a liking to the "colorful" mages, main Red and Blue. I think they're unique, although the Red Mage definitely has its restrictions. But the Blue Mage reminds me of Quistis. :x3:
 
My favorite jobs are the dragoon and ninja. Primarily cuz I like shuriken from ff3. Always saved me in certain situations and for dagoon, the jump ability has good perks to it if you know how to use it (such as allowing your dragoon to avoid attacks during jump)
 
Mine is the unarmed fighter, like Zell or Tifa. It's my favorite because I find it relatable (I used to do Muay Thai.).
 
I've always thought of blue magic as interesting. You have to search for the enemies' abilities and collect them, and there's some really useful magics (white wind, mighty guard..). It's really hard to create a viable blue mage though...
Other than that, the summoner class is pretty awesome.
