Sun And Steel
ARE YOU GOURMET?!
I don't know if you'd count them as rpg's the same way as the series listed above but I'd probably say the Super Robot Wars games are mine at the moment. The somewhat lengthly nature of levelling up teams in strategy rpg's is made much less excrutiating by the OTT attack animations and the fact that you can be playing as some of your favourite mecha-anime series' characters.
Being in Europe, I've been somewhat deprived of many a good rpg, but from my limited experience of the ones above; I'd probably go for Shin Megami Tensei, having been playing through Lucifers' Call/Nocturne and Devil Summoner 3 on and off for over a year now. Oh, and Disgaea certainly deserves a mention.

He pissed me off so much, especially when he kept going "Why don't you die already!?" to Moses, who happens to be the only good (and personal favorite) character in the game. But despite the games major suckage, there were actually a few good music tracks. Not enough to sit through the shitty game though...ugh, why did I waste $40 on that mess
In case there is one or two people that don't know what it is, it is my favourite Pokémon, Charizard, a creature which has fire at the end of his tail, just like Red XIII.
