Is anyone here good at faking accents or doing impersonations? I'm not bad at it but I am... what I call... an accent drifter. My Patrick Stewart sounds just like him... until I lose my concentration and then it drifts into a Sean Connery... which then turns into an Australian accent... which somehow remorphs back into british accent later on.

Usually the only time I can do a really good accent is when I'm smashed. One night Busta and a friend of ours came up to my house, we got plastered, and decided to prank call people. Now normally, Busta is the prank master... but that night the Turkish Chili Dog vendor was born. I managed to nail the accent for the duration of the conversation and not break character. It was pretty epic.

Although i have never been to the country or have i ever had a person who is from the country as a friend i am particularly good at the irish Accent, i am not sure how i am able to do it, all thoat i know is that i can. It's quite a good accent, and often when i put on my Irish accent i sound similar to Collin farrel (sp)

I'm not too bad at doing a Limey accent, a couple of my friends aren't too bad at it either. Just the other day we had a good laugh because of our Beatles impersonations :P

I can do a mean Steve Irwin impression (although its really easy)

Although its not really on topic, I would like to add that British accents are quite sexy.

i can do a rather good cocknie accent, wierd? yes but thats just me :D i cant help it

Nope, I'm absolutely terrible. Most of my friends have these characters who just roll off the tongue and any impersonation that I try comes out the same - as a nasally voice interrupted by a fit of self-laughter at my failure.

I've never really tried, and I don't really intend to either xD
My English teacher can do impersonations and they are actually really good, however, she sometimes breaks out into them when trying to teach us something...and it really is impossible to concentrate when she's doing them. :wacky:

I can do the ocassional word/sentence in a welsh/irish accent, but I dont do it very well. People always try mimicking MY accent and they all sound bloody stupid. I can swing in and out of Oldham/round here accent because Ive lived here so long, but I just prefer my Oldham accent so I choose to use that one :monster:

I can do a decent impression of Lois off Family Guy though, Danny think's it's hilarious. Apparently I laugh like her sometimes and I dont even know Im doing it :gasp:

lol I've done that before. The "Patch Adams" wannabe. There's been a couple times in my life where I've gotten fairly involved in the church, most of which has been Busta's influence.

But anyhow, in those several occasions, I've been asked to teach, babysit, act in skits, or just help out in general... and I have a tendency to whip out my accents for the kids. It's better than another thing people tend to whip out for kids in churches... but anyhow... I think it's fun. Besides, little kids aren't critical of a Sean Connery impression. They don't have a clue who they are... they just recognize that I'm being silly and it's fun.

Im not bad ive been told, i like doin a scouse or irish accent.
I have a friend who can do any accent you ask her. Yeah and i mean any accent, its so funny just listenng to her rattle off all these impressions. Its a talent.

I'm able to have a hippie accent. Something like "Dude, look at the colors. Peace out, man." :wacky:
I'm doing an American accent constantly because I love it so much, I can do an Indian accent (like Apu) and an English one.

I can do pretty much any accent asked for. All kinds of Brittish and American ones. Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Italian, French, Russian, Austrailian, German, Swedish, Indian, Japanese, Pirate, Cowboy...the list goes on and on...you name it I can probably do it :D

I am told i do a great british accent.

though by far my favorite accent is Neko Belic from GTAIV. My friend does a good impression of Roman... and we have went on for hours before just chatting away in a mindless conversation impersonating the characters. They come in handy when you are playing on line with some of those annoying 12 year olds on xbox live. Shouting back and fourth in heavy russian accents seems to piss them off quit well.

im really good at impersonating someone with a really bad accent...who am i kidding na im really bad at accents.

although when i speak german i do it in a german accent. but cnt speak english in a german accent

Okay, my accents aren't that great. I don't even bother with them anymore. I've been told by different people both at school and on here as well that I have a slightly southern accent to my voice. I don't know how, but I guess I do. As for impersonations, I used to be able to do a decent Stitch voice, but I can't get the raspiness back into it. Now I'm able to do a decent Opi from Family Guy.

I know...I'm weird. :monster:

I had this physics professor in College who sounded a lot like Sean Connery.

Nothing special here, I can kind of get a Scottish accent going, but nothing spectacular. And it is best if Im drunk.

I am actually pretty good at doing accents especially Japanese and chinese. My japanese and chinese accent are not that bad but there at least ok. I know how to talk japanese a little.
