Ever had one of those moments....

Have you ever had one of theose moments when you just realised either from what you said or how you acted that you definitely chose the wrong thing to do? (If that made sense...)

Lately a girl i know said to me "I got a new kitten." and i said "Don't you mean pussy." And now she's annoyed with me. I realised after i said that, that i said the wrong thing but meh who cares it was fun at the moment.

Yeah, who doesn't. Sometimes I crack jokes and it turns out the other person isn't exactly in the mood for jokes. When that happens I feel bad for saying something light-hearted when they took it seriously.

Can't think of any other type of situation like this

I think the last time this happened was when I met Jay (Warbourne) irl back in November. I don't wanna mention it as it was that humiliating. I said the wrong thing and realized my mistake a few seconds later. I remember PMing him here an hour after and saying my apologies.

This happens to me quite a lot in real life, because when I do decide to actually talk to people, I have this rather unfortunate habit of being quite direct, and I think afterwards "Well, fuck. That, perhaps, could have been handled more diplomatically." and I usually end up trying to cover up the awkward moment and then casually fade into the background, never to speak again...not for the rest of the day, anyway.

I hate it when that happens.

I'm pretty bad in that I usually pretend I didn't say/do anything wrong and just continue talking. >.<

I'm too embarressed to admit to what I did so I just try to brush past it and continue talking, as I more than likely didn't mean for it to come out the way it did.

I remember my friends and Steve and I watching something on TV about a much older person being with a young teenager and I said, 'Ewe what a pedo."

My friend was with a guy 14 years her senior at the time and they were both there in the room. >.<

They're not together anymore, but he really was a pedo. My friend got too "old" for him. She even says so. >.<
