Oh and I just made a huge as mistake by saying the seven heroes instead of eight! D: whoops my bad! looks like there's four per battle w/guardian...
 
thats not a problem Oliver, I was thinking about that the other day, and i didnt think much of it either. hehehe and do i have plans for Mystro when he faces his guardian thingy...I'll pm you now :gasp:
 
Eight? So is that the limit to how many RPers can join this RP? :hmmm: How many are there joined up in this currently? I really need to join a second RP to have an alternative to A Kingdom Darkly, when it is having one of it's oh-so-frequent dead periods. X_x

You can join Cerberus....But you wont be a part of the 8 heroes. You'd be doing other things in the rp and can possibly help add to the story. I like your character, and I'm guessing your character is good alignment wise? Anyway to get started there is a map on one of these pages of this RP universe. You'll have to tell me if you're okay with this by PMing me. Also there are some possible options I wouldn't mind discussing with you over Pms. Your character is accepted, though the RP has started for some time so I'll have to update you...

Note to all: I will soon be linking the map in my sig just to make things a little easier. I'll also post info on the Guardian status just to give you an idea of where all of the guardian temples are located!

Yeah, my character is of Good alignment, and I think Oevale Forest would be the best starting point. Probably would be that or Lael Forest, but Oevale Forest is just outside of a city, it seems more appropriate.

And, Guardian status? I wonder just what they are like... I guess I will need to know how the story has progressed so far, at least the gist of it. xP That's how it works when joining an RP that has been going for a while. >.>
 
I'm currently typing up a summary of the RP for you. It's taking quiet a while...

My sig is now fully linked for all of you RPers so anything you may need is in the sig. Thanx alot everyone.

Guardian's are like summons Cerberus... You'll learn much about it later on. Although they are reserved for the heroes, You'll have other advantages...I'm still thinking of how you'll be incorporated into the story and will soon put together a guide for all you need to know about the rp. This may take a while but by tomorrow you'll know everything!
 
Okay, I can wait. Glad to be accepted. :) I'm excited about being able to get into RPing more, the only one I was in for over a week has been dead, if I join enough RPs, I should be able to get some RP time in. :awesome:

When I clicked on the Map link in the sig, I had to go to the previous page to see the map, guess it must be my setting for posts to display per page.

I forgot to tell you guys that the water temple is on the island of Ale! Sorry! Anyways things are being updated and The clues your characters will get as to where these temples are lie in a certain childhood rhyme...
 
Hopefully people recite this rhyme so Mystro hears it, he cannae remember such childhood things you know. Or the team gets pillars and he remembers but made it to the temples by following...
 
I would probably not know this growing up in a rich environment, someone who possibly had their parents rock them to sleep instead of a servant might be better than me just randomly coming out with something like this.
 
Name: Rick Phlogiston

Race: Giant
Occupation: Mercenary
Alliance:Neutral, though is less inclined to work with those of evil intent.
Personality: Rick is a boisterous giant, loud and cheerful. He is loyal to those who are paying him, and dislikes demons. A demon once tried to hire him, and ended up with a body twisted in the shape of a pretzel because Rick refused to work for him and the demon attempted to threaten him. He is always willing to make new friends, and is easy to get along with.
In a fight, Rick is more defensive then anything. With his bracers and stamina, he outlasts most of those he fights. Blocking sharp strikes with his bracers and grabbing blunt weapons for a big counter, he is a reactive force. Working alongside others, he will mainly act as a distraction, allowing the others to go in and assault with various blows. What they can't take down, Rick will.
Appearance: Rick has red hair and ocean-blue eyes. He is 9'11" and weighs about 300 pounds. Most of that is muscle. He wears a sleeveless leather shirt, and a pair of jeans with chains going around it. The bottom of the jeans are cut off, to make room for his army combat rooms.

Gloves that have been infused with traces of mana, striking a stone or another piece of metal will spark up a small flame. Generally used to scare things.
Armor: Besides his normal clothing, Rick wears massive bracers that cover his arms with 6-inch long steel. It's too heavy to let Rick use any weapon aside from his gloves, so Rick has basically trained his legs to support the sheer weight of himself and his armor, and still move fast. That, and train his arms to strike fast enough with gloves to punch with full force at once every 2 seconds. He can still move his arms for only blocking at the speed of a blade. More of a defensive fighter.
Abilities: With intense focus, Rick can, but usually doesn't, thicken the mana around him in specific points, reaching to about a circle of 5 meter diameter. By using this, he can slow down opponents . Downside? Rick cannay move even an inch while it's being used.
Aside from that, Rick has enough brute strength to wrestle two bears at the same time and win, though he won't be able to do any strenuous action for a day or so. He also has stamina beyond any normal human, and higher then 50% of the giant race.
History/Background:Blows to the head while practicing his fighting knocked out quite a bit of his memory. However, what he still retains shall be listed here.
The first five years of his life are chunks of darkness. After that, he remembers getting into a fight at school to protect one of his friends. He won, and the kids he fought ended up in the hospital with a list of injuries, mainly broken bones. Being too slow to dodge a number of the blows rained upon him, Rick decided to train himself in strength and stamina.
After a time, about two years, he had managed to become far stronger then most kids around him, and his stamina was about equal. People left him and his friends alone, unless they went 5+ on one. That ended badly for those who went against him, though Rick suffered his fair share of injuries.
After that, Rick is drawing a grey blank, but it's filling in as he witnesses the daily life of others.

Well, I can interpret riddles easy so I could be help with the team or whoever he ends up with. If I hear it (Which I already have 0.o) then I can interpret it.
 
Okay I like the diverse characters we have here! I wish this rp was some kinda TV show! Rick is Hire-uh I mean Accepted! Anyways If you need to see the map, it's in my sig.
