I don't get how Scene emerged from Emo. They're kinda similar I guess with the stupid look, it seems like emo kids thinking they're elite. I just see it going hand in hand.

Sad that scene kids think they're unique and elite. I think they're one of the lowest scum of society. It seems they enjoy butchering myspace and livejournal. *sighs*

In emo subculture, it's cool to be whiny and blow everything out of proportion. In scene subculture, it's cool to be a cunt and think indie bands are the most talented people in the world.

I'm not stuck up, I was taught proper fucking GRAMMAR AND SPELLING and I can type like an intelligent person who actually went to school. I can't even understand half of what you're trying to say because you type so incoherently. You're 18, you should be through highschool now and have had 12 years of English, going on the internet is no excuse to start talking like a backwoods hillbilly with no education.

These kids are mostly to get the attention of the others if that means hurting themselves or making themselves looking like sl*ts.
It's almost like little kids who don't get enough attention from their mother and start crying,screaming,punching the walls for no actual reason.

Except that,they haven't faced the difficulties their parents have and with the first difficulty or obstacle they give up.
Simply their spoiled.
They like to follow the trends because of insecurance and need to be told that their doings and how they dress are cool.

Parents on the other hand try not to disappoint their teen child by allowing him/her do whatever comes to his mind,even exposing themselves if you get it.
Parents try to be "cool" because their children their friends ind them lame.
Not to mention that parents today are afraid of saying a no to their kids because they turn away and don't speak to them again or start doing drugs and drinking alchohol in order to forget their sh*tty life and their "big" problems.

I don't like Emos... From what I can tell, it's a bunch of reject goths that like to act as though they've had the crappiest life ever. Hey, I have my bad moments in life and fits of depression every now and then, but I do nothing about it and recover within maybe a few days or a week. I know that the crap people put me through in life isn't the end, so I shouldn't act that way.

As for cutting... Don't get me started... I feel that those who cut (unless in their lives they are actually abused from day to day physically or emotionally) do it for attention... My ex-girlfriend did that sort of stuff, no matter how hard I tried to convince her out of it, and she seemed to really not have much wrong with her life... But, then again, maybe I never knew her well enough...

Anyway, I nor hate nor like emos, I just find them interesting How they do thing that we all know are uncomfortable or wrong or even untrue just for the sake of it. Of course I'm talking about the 'drama emos' as I like to call them There are emo kids that just go by their business and are pretty normal, normal meaning they don't cut themselves or sob all day.

Ifind their culture very interesting, if we ever have to study a different culture than our own for a project, I'm sure to study this one.

Anyway, as a hippie, I'm forced to love everything. Oh well, what they don't know can't hurt them. I don't love emos, nor do I hate them. I like goths, I like their fashion sense.
