effing SERVER

I'm sure that we've established that Ryan and Mark rarely get the server messages due to the 'priority' over the system - they're in a Junior Admin-in-name-only usergroup that allows them to bypass the shitter. xD
 
That still doesn't explain why half the members on the site get the message while I watch them on Who's Online and giggle at their failure. All the below with exclamation points in triangles are server failures.

The difference is with me...compared to nearly everybody else. I didn't lag either. :wacky:
The site just runs for me like on any other ordinary day. xD

I said that out of frustration, last night, purely down to the fact that you've relentlessly caused as much trouble as humanly possible for us, over the last few days, and there's only so much that a human can take.
 
Actually Busta had turned off the RPG once when we had another bout of server lag back in the day. It did really seem to help, both times. I'm not getting in between your pissing match... but I do think it significantly helped, even if to relieve the server for awhile.
 
lol That wasn't my intent. My intent was just to remind them that it not only helped this time but has helped in the past. I had forgotten Busta did it until you did it. I appreciate it both times. That's all I'm saying. That, and although I"m guilty of it here, I wish people on these boards did a better job remembering the good things people did for them in the past. We tend to take and forget easily here. :/ Rambling thought, I suppose...

Let's not get another thread closed today though. Back on topic. :D
 
When Im replying to a post it goes quite slow. Im waiting for the sever busy message, but nothing yet. touch wood lol.
 
Grrr...I just got the busy server message about an hour ago, and it's just now letting me back on -__-

It wasn't too much a a problem two weeks ago, but now it seems to be happening to me a lot more often. Pages are loading a lot slower as well, which is a tad bit annoying to say the least.

What is wrong with the freakin server on this site it happens to me everyday when the server is busy and it is really getting annoying. What is the cause of busy servers? Even sometimes when I click something it sais the server is very busy. Screw that freakin Server!!!
 
It happens; ya just gotta have patience with it for now. I was in-battle in the RPG yesterday and it kept doing that a couple times and then later when I went to post.

The good thing is that with the RPG, if you're in battle and it zonks out, you can still come back and pick up where you left off.

Otherwise though, it's just gonna happen when the server's overloaded. A post here and there isn't going to fix that, so I think it's a dead horse subject. It doesn't last too long, and the people in authority here know about it. We're not telling them something they don't already know. Let's just leave it at that and wait it out patiently until LG or a Technician can deal with it.
 
hmmm everything seems better now (touchwood) havent had the message all day and the sites been running fairly fast. Heres hoping it lasts.
 
Yes we are all aware of the server problem. A PM has already been sent to LG, and I believe another one is going to be sent soon so we can get some feedback on the problem.
