So I have been keep track of E3 for the most part today... so far only a couple "Big things"

Sony announced the Playstation Vita which is the new NGP. It's supose to communicate with the PS3 and you can play either on your NGP or the playstation 3... Looks good so far.
There's going be two versions of it
an HD 3G verisoin it sounded like $299 but someone correct me on this.
and a Wifi Version for $249

For Halo lovers... theres two things you should know

The first Halo is getting Remastered... and Microsoft (not Bungii though from what I see) is making three more Halo's from the sound's of it, Halo 4 is suppose to come out in Winter 2012.

Mass effect 3 is going be released March 6, 2012.

Street Fighter X Tekken is going be on the Playstation 3 and Vita so far. Infamous hero, Coal, will be in the Street Fighter X Tekken.

And a bunch of other games got releases so far. Anyone wanna talk about it? anything stick out to anyone else so far? We got 2 more days left. Anything anyone else wanna see? talk about anything E3 says right in here.

Everything about Sony's conference is just the crappy line up of their Vita handheld, which to say it's not to get excited over either.

If I had money to burn, I would be a lot more interested in the Vita...but as it is, I think its pretty nifty for people who like touch-activated devices, but to me it was a waste for the entire event.

What about their actual games? Tomb Raider? I wanted more of that. Uncharted? I didn't want to hear how the Vita would work, I wanted to see the game. And I didn't see much new titles, or any interesting ones. I was really hoping to see more of PS3 games, especially since I'm gonna buy one! lol

Besides Tomb Raider, I think the think I liked to see the most was the God of War PSP title set, Ghost Recon and CoD.

Hopefully Nintendo will be good. I can't wait to see Zelda, or any other possible good title they have in store for us.

As far as it goes I think Nintendo will win between the three companies for bet E3 performance

Xbox talked about its kinnect like it was god

PS3 had Vita but really no news on any special games or anything...

Nintendo= New system, plus there 3DS so they will be calling for a lot of games...

But I think a third party gaming company will take the gold this year...

Microsoft: Kinect crap that I don't care about. Something about MEIII, but it kind of looked like they were going for some Gears of War thing, which I wasn't really excited about. Minecraft for the treesiddy, which I don't care about because I have it on PC, and due to console limitations, it'll be a very watered down Minecraft. Then Halo 4 and a remake of the original Halo which I'm kind of excited about.

Microsoft gets a D-.

Sony: Crap, crap, crap, crap, Uncharted III, Vita, Tekken bullshit, but with Journey, The Last Guardian and Ico and SotC HD versions, it kind of made up for the lack of shit I was interested in.

Sony gets a C+

Bring it on home Nintendo. You typically don't disappoint. :mokken:

New console? So they weren't talking about the 3DS?

I just got a Wii almost two years and no they will release a new system? Makes me feel like I wasted my money entirely.

sorry there going release the "Wii 2" (not sure on official name yet) tomorrow, or whenever E3 starts for you I think they take the floor first tomorrow, when E3 kicks off tomorrow.

I wouldn't say you waisted your money yet though, just watch what they say about the Wii 2 and let see how it goes (y)

It starts at 11:00 am for me, I believe. I checked this morning but I don't recall the correct time for it :hmm: It was 11:00 am last year, so it should be the same where I live.

The price for the Vita isn't that bad either, still out of my price range for a handheld, but still not bad. I was expecting it to cost a lot with all that's been put into it. xD

The Wii would still be behind and by the time I actually get Smash Bros or other online games, everyone will have the 500$ dollar system and I'll be playing by myself :(

My reaction to sony's E3:

DontGiveaDamn.jpg

I must say. They Did really Badly here. Besides UCIII I found nothing of excitiment. It was Really boring.

It basically went. UCIII FPS,FPS,FPS,FPS, PSV--->

It was terrible.

Still gotta admit Garland, Sony did better than Xbox..course when all Xbox talks about is there Kinect and there halo games I guess that aint hard....
Like I said Nintendo will beat both the console wars at this years E3 and I'm sure some third party will beat all three of them with a huge announcement (I hope)

Way better than Xbox. Way better. But still really boring. They basically only mentioned about 2 new games that people got excited about...but who knows, Sony might surprised us after E3 and release awesome game information.

Yup, just double checked. 11:00 am.

I'm not sure if that's when the screen is put up or when they talk before it. I believe its when the nerds :-)awesome:) talk before, so I'd say about 11:30 latest 12:00.

*P.S I'm one of those nerds xD*

E3 2011 Day one was pretty good in my opinion. Halo 4 stole the show at the Microsoft press conference, along with Mass Effect III. At the Sony conference, it was Uncharted III that stole the show. As for the PSVita. Meh.. it looks alright and it is pretty decent. Pretty low pricing and I will only be interested if I see more good games on it. Well Uncharted: Golden Abyss looks alright. I mean, it is Uncharted after all. :wacky: Looking forward to Nintendo tomorrow!

So E3 is up Nintendo is up in a few I will edit this post for more info on Nintendo. just for those who want to watch E3 figure you wanted to know that its going be up in a few, (the new Zelda is going be talked about and the new nintendo.)

console new name WII-U...

Congradulations for another crappy name

the controller looks like a hand held system no joke here...

basically you can turn off the system or change the channel and play on the controller on the go I guess... looks intresting... not sure how well it's going work right away though.

Halo 4, looked awesome until I read in this thread that Bungie isn't making it, how can it be Halo without Bungie?! Also why in the world release the reboots both Halo 1/2 WHILE releasing Halo 4? If I read this correctly.

Nintendo is done now

WII-U looks like they have games that are already going be on the PS3 and Xbox 360 so..I am not sure what to think of it right now... I mean the controller interface thing is going be interesting but overall I think Sony had the best of th three.

E3 has been pretty crap so far this year, I think. Whilst I'm looking forward to a couple of the remakes coming out, the fact that I'm looking forward to remakes, and not actual new games, is depressing. Is this industry EVER going to move forward?

Nintendo were very hit-and-miss this year, I felt. Wii U...well, to be honest, its not that huge of a leap forward. Much like the 3DS was next to the DS, its...stale. Any idiot could come up with an idea like that, it isn't what Nintendo have become famous for: innovative. Its not shocking, not like the Wii and DS were when they were first announced. Nintendo appear to be falling back on their enhanced reputation with the entire world and are just churning out a similar-ish console because they know it will sell.

The promise of Super Smash Bros. is alluring, but Brawl was awful, it had an atrocious character lineup and thoroughly tedious story mode; a definite downgrade from Melee. I'd want to see some evidence of a return to form before I got my hopes up.

Perhaps the only new announcement that has me excited is Luigi's Mansion 2. A sequel. They're actually making a sequel! With multiple mansions! The original was fantastic - it wasn't particularly spooky, but it was extremely entertaining, and had a pretty good soundtrack. Expecting more of the same with this. The new Mario game looks fairly good as well...watching the trailer, I could actually picture that in 3D in my head, and I quite liked the idea of it. I don't tend to buy Mario games these days, because they're even more samey than Zelda games, but I might give this one a look-in.

Kid Icarus looked impressive, but Nintendo once again have proved that they have absolutely no idea what a voice actor is...

Sony's new handheld (or is that the Wii-U controller with a recolour?) is promising, but...my god, the price. It'd be cheaper to get a PS3, almost. No handheld justifies such an outrageous price tag! :rage:
