Earth spun ever so lazily on its axis...
Its vibrant colours of blue and white remain untainted and beautiful against the black backdrop of space...
It's tranquility and peaceful atmosphere was only disturbed...
By tracing plasma fire and debris of human and covenant vessels alike.
The lone marine leaned his head against the glass, helmet in hand, lost in the spectacle of destruction

"Lieutenant, we're almost to insertion point. Please proceed to the pod chambers."

Staying for one final glance, the marine slipped on his helmet...

"Dropping into hell again..."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lt Rikkimaru Kuma leaned over the three dimensional tactical map in the drop room. The metropolis of Tokyo laid splayed out all over the entire board. Rikkimaru was genetically Japanese and it had been a while since his last visit. What caused his already creased brow to further furrow is the covenant Assault Carrier hovering above. That thing was definitely a capital ship. Rikkimaru had seen a rare few of them and that was when he was on Reach. Now there were two of the damn thing around. From what he heard, there was a third, but the Chief apparently dropped off their own bomb and obliterated it. What concerned Rikkimaru the most was that it was alone. None of it's other ships were around. No battle cruisers , no frigates, no destroyers, no nothing. Just the carrier.
What the hell is it doing?
No matter. They were on the verge of a mission. His team should be here soon.
They needed briefing. If anything happened, Ms bridge bunny would tell him. Rikkimaru placed a finger to his earpiece.
" Usagi chan~~ Can you call my men to the pod chambers."
"Lieutenant, we are on a proper channel. Please observe proper military etiquette, Kuma tan.
In any case, ill call them."
" All ODST marines please report to SOEIV chambers immediately. I repeat...."
What worried Rikkimaru more was that there was a FNG coming in. It was not good. They were to be going on a high risk, high fatality mission and he needed his men to be at 100%.
Corpral Stephen Hownam, aka Shooter, was sat in the armory cleaning his Sniper Rifle , his armour already on, his helmet sat next to him, the three purple lines on his armor were signature, and he was one of the best snipers in the marine corp. his Muscular build was a dead give away of who he was, he was sat waiting to be called to mission briefing.
" All ODST marines please report to SOEIV chambers immediately. I repeat...." came through the come in his ear and he smiled, he stood up and hoisted his rifle over his shoulder and checked his side arm was loaded,and the safety was clicked on. "Game time boys" Stephen muttered before he picked up his helmet and headed towards the drop pod chamber.
When he arrived the Lieutenant was already there, he placed his helmet down on the floor and saluted "Sir, Shooter reporting for mission briefing" he announced in a solid tone before dropping his hand and standing at attention.
"All ODST marines please report to SOEIV chambers immediately. I repeat...."
Frederick was in the cafeteria, just finishing up his meal when he heard the announcement. Jager was wearing his ODST Bodysuit already, so he didn't need to go and change clothes.
Despite the fact that their was a space battle going on did not disturb his peaceful mood. Heading over to the drop room chamber. He saw L.T and Shooter already there.
"Lieutenant."
Jager said saluting his superior. Although Frederick had more experience, he had a better grasp of the overall situation. Nonetheless, he held him in high regard. He walked over to his pod and picked up his helmet. "What is the situation, sir?"
PFC Billy Steel, or "Wild Bill" as his friends called him, sat in the cafeteria with his half-eaten breakfast in front of him. He didn't seem hungry that morning, but he wasn't sick. Deciding that he wasn't gonna finish it, he just threw what he had left away, and headed out. Just as he did that, he heard an announcement:
"All ODST marines please report to SOEIV chambers immediately. I repeat...."
"Shit, I need to hurry then."
Quickly, he rushed back to his room and threw on his ODST bodysuit, then proceeded to head to the SOEIV chambers. He wanted to make an impression, since he was the new guy, so he hurried himself up. As he got there, he noticed that there was already people there. He made sure he had everything before stepping inside.
"Sir, PFC Steel reporting for briefing" He said as he quickly saluted the Lieutenant.
Sure enough, right after the announcement, like proper marines, his men began to file in, all geared up.
"Sir, Shooter reporting for mission briefing"
Hm? Shooter? Good. Stuff your rifle and gear into your pod if you're done with prep and stand by the tact table.
"Lieutenant. What is the situation, sir?"
Within seconds, Rikkimaru's trusty Sarge walked in. He has gone into the thick of it with Jager many times and he has yet to falter or fail in anything given. Plus, Rikkimaru has seemed to lost count of the time the veteran has pulled him from trouble.
Ah, Jager, good to see you. Situation is normal. Brass is gonna drop us into the shit hole as usual.
Rikkimaru was not overly happy. His two main men obviously got here on time, but the FNG and the previous probie seem to be late. Not a good impression, but he would have to make exceptions. Depending on the one to arrive last, he'll blast that one in one go. The doors slid open, meaning his question of who he was going to shout at was going to be answered.
"Sir, PFC Steel reporting for briefing"
Ah, the FNG... guess its Ascotts ass then...
Private. Welcome to the one-oh-five MEU, 7th Shock Troop Battalion. You will be the newest addition to 7th Platoon, 7th Squad. I am your commander, Lt Rikkimaru Kuma. Big guy over there is your Sarge and the smaller guy is Corporal Hownam.
He gave a small pause as Rikkimaru glanced up and down the private. Small man, rather lithe looking. Scout gear and light weaponry. That meant that they had a new rabbit.
Now listen here. In ODST, you are expected to give 110%, but in my squad, that isnt even nearly enough. If you don't give me at the very least 150%, i'll personally shoot you and leave your sorry carcass to be looted by the damn grunts and free for the Brutes to feast. As long you understand that, then we're good. Ditch your gear in your pod and come over here.
Sure that he made his point, Rikkimaru stepped over to the table. A second, smaller ship had pulled into view. This one was just a destroyer, puny in comparison to the giant looming over Tokyo. This was apparently their target. Never mind the carrier. They did not have enough man power to take it.
Right, Steel, you're lucky you're not last. If you were last, god help you because i would have personally sabotaged your pod. Ascott's late so thats going to be her punishment.
Back to the mission. See this destroyer? Brass has ordered our platoon to drop onto it and take it over, or at the very least bust it up. It'll be a tac insertion, last minute strike so that they cant flee and will have their defenses down somewhat. We go, gun down everything we see and clear our sector...
its a bit more complicated than that Lieutenant. Marines, this is Second Lieutenant Tenkawa. I will brief you more indepth on your target. Your squad will puncture through section 3-C of the hull and will position you close to the ship bridge. It will be the toughest target requiring immediate action upon insertion. Cut your way into maintenance corridors to by pass as many enemies as to save the element of surprise. Once you and squad 3,4,5 and 8 have cleared the bridge, make for hangar bay 6 two floors below and either hijack a phantom or blow the shield from the inside for pelican pick up.
A slight lull went over the room as the soldiers absorbed the information. It was definitely a difficult task, but they were ODST. It was expected.
Alright men, you heard the 2nd Lt. Gear up, update data and logs and get ready to drop in...
15 minutes.
Kuma strode to the gun and ammo rack right next to Jager and pulled out his rifle and shotgun.
Well... i'll be depending on you to look after the FNG... and me again on this one...
Well... i'll be depending on you to look after the FNG... and me again on this one...
Jager closed his eyes to think of the last time hell broke loose. "All right, I'll take care of you and the PFC. Let's just hope this won't be like Reach." Walking over to the Gunracks, he picked up a M6C/SOCOM, a 12.7-mm Handgun. Unlike the stand M6C model, the SOCOM variant sports a built in suppressor and scope for medium range marksmanship. Putting it on safety, Frederick placed the pistol on a magnetic plate on his hip.
Jager then picked up his Shotgun, his trusty M90 CAWS, a useful tool for close quarters and especially useful inside a Covenant Destroyer. "Alright troopers,move it!!" Frederick said in a very authoritative manner "I want your tails set for a combat drop A.S.A.P!!!" He always preferred to be the first in his pod, putting his M90 on the slot beside his seat in the Drop Pod. Frederick then took a seat and waited for launch.
Stephen Strode over to his pod and slotted his Rifle into it's slot by his seat "Great, stuck inside a covenant ship, i ain't gonna have a chance to hit a long shot and make it look easy" he thought to himself as he checked his side-arm "your going to get some usage my friend" he muttered as he connected it back to his hip.
he spun around as the mission Briefing was being announced, and Stephen nodded as the Briefing finished "Yes sir" he announced before sitting in his Pod and waited for the Drop.
After being briefed on the mission, Wild Bill went over to his pod, and started to get ready for the drop. He felt a little better knowing he wasn't last, but that didn't give him an excuse to screw up. He put his weapon in the designated slot, then sat down in the seat. As he waited, he started to recap the briefing in his head, so that he would know what to do.
"This is gonna be a wild ride." He said under his breath.
OOC: Keep attention for white writing That means important info. Cardiac, you have a a strategic problem for you, so pay attention. As for the other two, since you are in a more safe area, just do what you want, but remember, you're both in different area. Ill link a map of the Tokyo region to my sig, so refer to it if you're lost. We'll only be in the Yamanote Line in the middle.
"All right, I'll take care of you and the PFC. Let's just hope this won't be like Reach."
Ah, Reach. I remember that. Daisies and roses along with guts, plasma and fire. Rather pleasant.
Leaving it with that sarcastic remark, Rikkimaru tossed his rifle into the right slot and his shotgun into the left slot before filling his musette bags with ammo. As the commanding officer, he had a good deal more gear than the other pods, but then, that meant he had to be hefting more right after the drop.
One minute Lieutenant. I will provide close support via pelican, so rest assured.
Nice to know you'll be holding my hand inside the destroyer.
Walking next to his three men's pod, Rikkimaru checked its condition and its readiness before he jumped into his own, just managing to close the pod door, brace himself and see Dia on the screen smiling as she count down from 2.
Here we go men!
There was a sickening lurch as the pod shot out from underneath the ship. It was good. The mission set off without a hitch as there were very little Seraph fighters in the air who werent being taken care of by the long and short sword fighters. All around outside, the pod grew a slight bit red from the low orbit insertion and just as he punctured the clouds, all around, over a hundred pods followed. Insertion protocol kicked in as Rikkimaru's pod increased in speed ahead of his squad. His pod will be the regroup point, hence he needed to hit down first. Archer missiles from the De Daanan whizzed by as did longsword bombers, blowing into the destroyers shield before the massive barrage fizzled the unprepared covenant vessel's barrier.
Prepare for impact in 10...9...8...7... crap!
A nearby longsword caught a plasma blast in its rear, causing it to fly out of control before bursting in a monstrous explosion next to squad 7. By some divine miracle, its larger shrapnel missed the pods, but its shockwave tumbled the four pods from their course.
God damnit! Dia! We're off course! I repeat, we have been blown off course! We are going to miss the ship entirely!
Rikkimaru looked to the side to his men. As he expected, Sarge and Shooter has been shot off towards the left while the FNG was with him to the right. Quickly, he punched in the new data. The squad was split. Sarge was heading straight towards Shinjuku while Shooter was going in at Shibuya while he was heading towards Ueno with Steel.
Rikkimaru! land first and deal with it! Sgt Richard and Cpl Hownman are heading into relatively safe areas, but you are dropping into heavy convenant forces!
ARGH! SHIT!
With his landing messed up, the last thing Rikkimaru saw was Steel flying by overhead at a low altitude. He had to get to the boy ASAP. Being new, he might be overcome by the heavy covenant forces around. Bracing against the floor, Rikkimaru barreled into the tall empty apartment complex, tearing through three rooms before screeching to a halt. He felt completely beat, but with will, he punched in the hatch blow off button. The ceramic hatch shot off its hinges allowing the LT to climb out. His officer pod signal was now useless. His men werent going to rendevous with him. Stuffing as much ammunition and immediate combat gear as he can, Rikkimaru cocked his MA37 rifle and booted down the door onto the corridor.
From his position, he could clearly see where Steel had punched through. Unfortunately, his pod had smashed through into the second level of a high rise, easily accessible by the converging grunts and jackals.
Shit...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

PFC Steel's pod has dropped into a low second story floor of an apartment building. 6 Grunts and 3 Jackals are already converging, but more from curiosity than expecting combat. The winding, rectangular staircase is set in a way for a perfect bottle neck as those up top can look down at the entrance of the stairs as well as the small narrow corridor lets for booby traps. The corridor is doors on one side with the other open into the air. A coil of tough wires lay in a pile outside of PFC Steel's pod.

as Shooter's Pod Launched from the ship, he felt the pressure on his body as it charged towards the the pod was Vibrating and Shooter had a smile on his face "YEEEEEHAAAAAAWWWWW" He shouted as he always did in the pod, Stephen was a bit of an adrenaline junkie. he felt the shock wave and heard that they were no longer on course, "fuck, fuck. . ." a loud Crash signaled Shooter had hit the ground, he elbowed his Hatch blow off button and the Pod Door Launched from his pod.

he pulled himself up to his feet and out of the Pod, he shook his head, removed his helmet and cracked his neck, he then pulled his helmet back onto his head he pulled a cloth from one of his pouches and cleaned off his visor, before putting the cloth back, he reached into his pod and pulled out his Sniper Rifle, loaded it and clicked the safety on before slinging it onto his back, it was held in place by the Strap, he pulled his sidearm from his leg, flicked the safety off and proceeded forward.

"Lieutenant, come in, this is shooter, it would seem i have landed in the Shibuya area, can you give me a position for conversion or let me know where you are so i can rendevous with you" he announced down his radio.

"Crap crap crap! I'm so late! Which means the LT totally sabotaged my pod! AAAHH GOD-DAMNIT! GIVE ME MY ROCKET LAUNCHER!"

Pounding down the hallways was the Explosives Man of the ODST, Tony "Smithy" Smith. He punched the marine trying to sneak off his with his launcher and continued onwards. Once he reached the pod room, it looked like everyone else had sealed up. Tony ran to his, put the Rocket launcher into it's place, checked to make sure the SMG he had as a side-arm was in place, and then hopped in. Just as he finished preparations, they blasted down.

"YEEEHAAAWWW! THIS. IS. SPARTA! COME AND GET IT YOU MUTHER-FUCKING COVENANT WHORES! --- (that signifies a long line of screaming and cursing and insults.)"

And that was when Tony noticed he had been broadcasting over an open channel.

"... fuck."

Clicking back to the squad channel, he then realized that he wasn't aimed right. In fact, he was aiming for the Harajuku district. A quick scan showed there was only light covenant forces there. Good, that meant he could clear them out and call for evac. The pod began shuddering as it hit the atmosphere, and he could feel himself warming up. This was what the Helljumpers lived for. Oo-rah.

And then he hit the ground, with a big shudder as he hit. That rattled him, and he groaned and shook his head. Always his hated part. And then he realized something: A. his comm was off. And B...

"Oh damn. LT is going to MURDER my ass when he gets ahold of me."

He hit the switch to open the hatch, only for a "FAILURE" tone to blare.

"... That's after I get out of this."

Clicking on his comm, he set it to the squad channel and started broadcasting.

"A. LT, your an asshole. B. I'm stuck in the Harajuku district. And SOMEONE sabotaged my door. I need a hand over here."

Jager's pod launched out of the UNSC Destroyer and hurdled downwards towards Earth. Unlike most of the others, he was calm and serious about it, unlike many of the adrenaline junkies there. When the shockwave knocked the group of course, he was visibly disappointed, with Rikkimaru screaming about the situation.

The pod landed, conveniently, in an alleyway in Shinjuku district. Hitting the blow off switches, the hatch blew off, and Frederick slowly climbed out. "Next time, don't fly your jets to us, it's rather unpleasant...Great, now I'm sounding like Rikkimaru." Jager shook his head, then went back to the pod to pull out his shotgun. Cocking the shotgun, Jager walked out, finding a map of the city of Tokyo, showing him that he was in Shinjuku. It was then that he heard voices in the radio.

"Lieutenant, come in, this is shooter, it would seem i have landed in the Shibuya area, can you give me a position for conversion or let me know where you are so i can rendezvous with you"

"A. LT, your an asshole. B. I'm stuck in the Harajuku district. And SOMEONE sabotaged my door. I need a hand over here."

Frederick responded to these calls while looking at the map "Alright gentlemen, looks like it's time for me to hold your hands....again. Sit tight, I'll be there in a few minutes."

"Looks like Harajuku is the closest district from here, time for me to go get Smithy."
Jager thought before walking out, continuously moving into cover to avoid being ambushed.

Shooter always had an ear on the Squad radio, and heard that Smithy was in the Harajuku district, "Jager, I will meet you there" Shooter informed Jager via the radio before moving out. he stuck to Covered area's, avoiding getting into to big a firefight as he only had a handgun sidearm to defend himself in these streets. hopefully there were no Brutes going to show up, but considering the Covenant forces in this area of Tokyo seemed to be very small groups of Grunts and jackals, this was good news for Shooter, bad news for the grunts and Jackals.

OOC: Sorry for the short post

Wild Bill heard the crash, indicating that he had landed. He got up and out of his pod, and looked around. He found himself in an apartment building, with none of his teammates with him. He could see a staircase, which looked like it could be good for cover.

"Yeah, I HAVE to be in the wrong drop zone. Where the hell is everyone?" He said to himself.

While looking, he also noticed a coil of wires near the pod. He grabbed a grenade, and wrapped the wire around the pin. He then placed the grenade around some rubble, hidden from view. He then uncoiled the wire and hid from view, as he saw 6 Grunts and 3 Jackals approach from different angles. As soon as the enemies were close to the grenade, he pulled the wire. The grenade exploded, killing 2 Grunts and the 3 Jackals. He then grabbed his weapon and, using cover from the wreckage, proceeded to engage the remaining enemies.

"Well, not that that's done, I need to get out of here."

He proceeded to go outside, being careful to keep an eye out for any more enemies. When he reached the first floor, he decided to touch base with someone.

"Lt. come in, this is Wild Bill. I landed in an apartment building that had some Grunts and Jackals in it. They have been dealt with, now I am proceeding outside."

OOC: Lol, shadow, i dont think hed actually sabotage your pod, but the pods are mass produced and canonically, they do fail. You'll be the previous FNG tho, so you will be nicked Probie by me.

"Lieutenant, come in, this is shooter, it would seem i have landed in the Shibuya area, can you give me a position for conversion or let me know where you are so i can rendevous with you"

Rikkimaru was making his way down the steps when he heard Shooter through the radio. It was lucky that he had survived. That was two out the five in the squad. However, he was in Shibuya. Right on the other side of the Yamanote line.

Negative Shooter. Do not rendevous with my pod. I repeat. Do not rendevous. Intel reports heavy covenant action in Ueno where i am. Regroup with the Sarge.

Another voice crackled over the radio. One that did not impress Rikkimaru.

"A. LT, your an asshole. B. I'm stuck in the Harajuku district. And SOMEONE sabotaged my door. I need a hand over here."

Hm. Need i remind you of combat protocol Corporal? You were late on my mission. You're lucky i dont court martial you. Get over towards the Sarge. I gotta wipe the FNG's ass.

There was no real intentions in his threat. What was done was done. Rikkimaru wasnt the type to bust his men with court martial for something so menial, as long as he was in the pod when they dropped.

Sarge, get Shooter and hold the probie's hand. I can hear his bitching all the way here. Go comfort him

With a slight laugh, Rikkimaru turned his attention back towards the FNG's pod. There was an explosion and a shots registered. It was still bright, but Rikkimaru turned his VSIR. There was no movements, but a waft of smoke poured from the second floor. Rikkimaru pointed his MA37 at the door behind rubbles and cover when he saw the FNG come out into the relative open.

"Lt. come in, this is Wild Bill. I landed in an apartment building that had some Grunts and Jackals in it. They have been dealt with, now I am proceeding outside."

Stay down. I see you. Get back under cover. You're in the open. Jackal snipers could be anywhere!

Jackals had it nice in suburban cities. Their keen eyes and senses made them perfect snipers. With his VSIR, Rikkimaru scanned the immediate buildings, changing the filters before he was relatively satisfied.

I am coming over. Keep me covered!

With a low crouched stance, Rikkimari performed a ragged Z run through the short open ground and dove into the doorway where the FNG was.

Keep the doorway covered. I need to coordinate with De Daanan.

Dia, come in! We need support, now!

Lieutenant, i am currently above Tokyo right now in the Pelican. I will be supporting and coordinating your movements from here. First off, get out of that area. Elite squads are converging.

Affirmative. Alright, Private Steel. You look fast. You will go be point. All units, we will regroup at ONI HQ in Tokyo. Make your way there. Try to avoid unnecessary combat, but help out the local marines if they need it. We're extra assets around, so we might as well be of use.

Looking back at Steel, he pointed at the large wall gate that blocked off the boulevard towards Okachimachi.

Go over there, and unlock the gate. It'll auto seal behind us. Check at the door to check for enemy forces. Ill take the rear.

OOC: You can make up if there is light or heavy resistance Cardiac. We will meet enemies soon, so decide what you want.

Sarge, get Shooter and hold the probie's hand. I can hear his bitching all the way here. Go comfort him

"Yeah, yeah...I gotta try to stop him from putting his panties in a bunch. Just watch for the FNG while I'm gone hunting." Frederick moved to cover. His M90A was a CQC weapon, not very wise in an open area like this, so he put it on his back, letting the magnetic plate magnitize the weapon to his back. Jager pulled out his pistol and moved forward.

Along the way, Jager took cover behind a wall. Looking at the side, he saw a small group on patrol. 2 Grunts and a Jackal. Looking down the sights, he activated the scope, getting a closer look at the enemies. Jager, true to his name, saw his opponents as his next prey. Aiming for the head, he shot at the Jackal's head. The Kig-Yar soldier fell to the ground, his body limp and lifeless.

The 2 Grunts started looking around, their Plasma Pistols drawn, searching for the man responsible for the kill. Pointing at the next Grunt, he quickly fired at its face, the bullet nearly exploding the Grunt's head. The last remaining Unggoy started panicking, running around like he saw a ghost. Jager had to silence him quickly or else more unwanted attention would be placed on himself.

Coming out of cover, Jager moved up with Shotgun in hand. Moving from cover to cover, he attempted to get close to his enemy, by the time Unggoy found the ODST, he was shot will hot pellets from his 8-gauge shotgun, a deafening roar that penetrated through the Coenant's Battle Armor, now dripping in pools of luminescent light-blue blood.

"No time to dawdle, I gotta get Smithy out of his pod."
Frederick said, moving on towards Harajuku.

Bill acknowledged the LT's order and gave a tentative glance out the door for any movements. There was a lot of open ground between here and the wall gate. From intel, a jackal could be lurking anywhere and put a damn carbine round into his helmet. Adrenaline pumped through his veins as his eyes darted back and forth before a he felt a figure drop down next to him. It was the LT

Alright. Keep steady. Ragged Z run through the rubbles. Keep clear of the open area and use any cover you have to put a wall between you and potential fire. Go.

Like a starting gun, Bill's leg ran at his CO's order and push on the back. His teeth were clenched as he ran raggedly across the open ground. Rikkimaru was glad he was right. The man was fast. The way he zigged and zagged meant that he had an innate ability or habit of running that would make it difficult to track. Rikkimaru, with his rifle, crouched out and scanned the area around. His VSIR was off as the light was gonna screw with his sensors, but so far so good. The PFC managed to make it all the way across without even a shot fired at him. Sweeping one more time, Rikkimaru began his run across.

Bill had reached the large door and pinned in his UNSC code. The massive piece of metal opened ever so slightly, enough for him to peek through. It was relatively quiet when a staccato of fire echoed through the air. It was a MA37 rifle. Marines. The LT managed to regroup with him and heard the noise.

Well, Private. Lets go lend a hand. Dia! We are going through door DA234 to assist some marines in combat.

Roger. Stand by for intel.

With that, both Rikkimaru and Bill slipped through the door and eased their way to the corner. Grabbing the fibre optic cable in his glove, Rikkimaru peeked around the corner.

The Supreme Commander paced back and forth on the bridge of his ship, the Righteous Order. The humans have launched a pre emptive attack on the destroyer Truthful Spirit, but there was nothing he could do. His mission, as the Prophet had said was to stay taxi above the city at all cost. Do not disengage or move from the coordinates. Down below in the city, his soldiers scurried around, looking for the entrance down into the hold where the artifacts from the Forerunners lie. It was going too slow. The human resistance was strong and his men were fighting tooth and nail for every inch. More needed to be done.

Igaran. Go down to the surface to sector DA 235 (where cardiac and i am) and clear the resistance. At once.

He knew the Hunter would get the job done. He had yet to see anything stop it. Turning from the giant creature, Rhtas faced his friend.

Rnas, do tell me, we sit here, idling with no foes, but that single ship. We could easily tear through those weaklings, yet the prophet has ceased our movements and tell us to leave the Truthful Spirit to these vultures. Do you think, they would pardon me again, should i disobey the Holy Prophet once again?

She jogged the last few metres to the drop pod that had been reserved for her. She put her rifle in place and checked her side arm before strapping herself in
"Your being dropped into Ueno to rendezvous with the lieutennant and to provide backup and if possible transport for the squad" the little voice said in her radio. "Yes commander, send me now" She said as she clipped the final strap into place.
Moments later she felt a whooshing sort of feeling and she knew she was hurtling to the ground really quickly. She landed almost in the middle of the street and stood up as quickly as possible. Drawing her rifle and butted the hatch away from the pod and headed to the extrior area.

But just as she stood up to exit a bullet whizzed past her head She ducked very quickly saying "Shit" Then over the radio she added. "Its Lance corporal hide waiting for you to arrive at my position in Ueno lieutennant. i would come to see you but theres a sniper on my doorstep and hes knocking pretty hard."

With a quick raise of the hand, Rikkimaru halted Billy and his advance towards the firefight. The marines could hold it out for a bit longer. Ascott was priority, especially with a jackal sniper pinning her down. She was not far from her pod, so Rikkimaru had no trouble tracking her.

Lieutenant, i have managed to track down Lance Corporal Ascott, Transmitting live feed now.

A small square on his commanders HUD showed a slightly fuzzy image of an aerial view of a ODST drop pod. Only his helmet could link as such with the Stealth Pelican as it costs a bit more than the standard, but considering his squad's efficiency and mission difficulty, it wasnt hard to obtain funds for more gadgets on his suit. This image showed Ascott stuck in her pod with the occasional green whizz of a carbine bullet riccocheting off the pod.

Private. Break left and go through the building. It should lead you straight to the large street the Corporal landed in. Jackal is third floor, north north west from that position. Lay down suppressive fire.

Wordlessly, Billy nodded once and ran off. It was time to show the squad his worth. With his SMG in hand, Billy bashed through the broken door and made his way through what appeared to be a shopping store. His boot knocked down the next door, revealing three grunts, but Billy did not slow down, but continued running and double tapping the shocked grunts with ease in the head before finally busting out onto the street. There were very little cover bar a small motorbike that stood unscathed in the battle torn city. Billy slid behind the vehicle and let off short burst in the general direction of the Jackal.

From the way he was shooting, Billy had no way of hitting or killing the jackal as he was shooting over the top from cover. It did do what Rikkimaru wanted it to do, that is suppress the Jackal and get him to displace. With its ungainly legs, it backpedalled from the window and made for the door when it felt a sickening heavy boot crunch down on the back of it's knee, breaking it before a wrist blade stabbed into the back of its neck. Rikkimaru finished off the gurgling alien with a brutal butt strike to the head, spilling its head open.

Jackal clear. Good working Private. You okay Ascott? Both of you, regroup on my position. Third floor, NNE from your position, same street.

Frederick:

Upon reaching Harajuku District, Jager started combing all the streets, looking for Smithy's pod through the empty streets. There was not many Covenant in the area, just like Shinjuku.

Nonetheless he had to keep up his guard, who knows what might be going on. Moving to cover where he went, Jager's erratic movement patterns were unorthodox, but it kept him alive through many of his battles.

Frederick came up to a plaza, which was only accessible through 2 sets of stairs on both ends of his position. Taking cover behind a wall, he looked out to see the pod, and of course Covenant, 3 grunts and a jackal. Again, there were not that many, but this would be difficult to take out the jackal and his shield.

Rnas:

Rnas, do tell me, we sit here, idling with no foes, but that single ship. We could easily tear through those weaklings, yet the prophet has ceased our movements and tell us to leave the Truthful Spirit to these vultures. Do you think, they would pardon me again, should i disobey the Holy Prophet once again?

Rnas looked at his friend, "Not if we find something worth while to the Prophet." The 7 foot tall Sangheili stood upward and walked towards the wall, looking outwards into space. "Have you heard that there was an artifact on another part of this world? Maybe their could be more out there, and if there isn't...what would he know if we take a few human lives for the running?"

"In any case, I leave that decision to you. Supreme Commander.
" Rnas finally said as a sign of respect to his friend.
