The bored the piss out of me, they would have been more enoyable if they weren't so long winded and I really hated the Lunatic Pandora sequence

Infact the only one I can just about toletate is the very first one

Not to say I don't like Laguna, Kiros and Ward, I just wish they could have found a better way of getting the dreams across....

I hate it when I know I have one coming up, they just seem to drag on :jtc:

It's like having that Kalm flashback 6(?) times in FFVII :gonk:

The main part I didn't like about the dream sequences was the timing of them. they ALWAYS managed to occur when something is gonna happen with Squall and the gang. -__- then I'd get all wrapped up in the Laguna story, and what do you know, they go back to Squall.

I've always hated cliffhangers, and this really didn't help. The story was otherwise fine, but I just cba to like the dreams coming at inconvenient times. :gasp:

oh and another thing that really irritates me about them as well is when you come out of the dream and all your shit is unjunctioned, so not only have you just endured the damn dream, forgot what was going on with Squall and co, you have the added fucking ball ache of having to rejunction all your magi. Better still when you fucking FORGET, wind up in battle and youre justlike FOR FUCK SAKE :rage:

Oh, I totally forgot about that lovely little bit. :gasp: I HATED that. i ended up getting in the habit of checking my junctions ASAP, but that was only after I endured about a disc and a half of not doing so and getting my ass handed to me many times. :rage:

Overall, I thought the good outweighed the bad, I just enjoy the story of it as it comes up, I didn't mind having to rejunction some stuff, it's all part of the game as I see it, you just deal with it. :P

Just one thing was that they may have been a little longer than I would like, but I enjoyed playing through it, really like that Man with the Machine Gun battle theme for whenever you get into a battle during one of those dream sequences. :awesome:

Eh, I actually loved them.

It was nice to take a break from Squall and the gang to then switch to the Laguna sequences every now and again. At first, I was all WTF with what was going on and yet I eventually caught on that they were quite pivotal to bringing the storyline together in the end.

I liked the dream sequences actually. At first I was really confused on what was going on, but eventually I got into it. Laguna is the wonderful comic relief character of the game, and in general he himself is very charismatic. I think that it was good to have him as the main character every so often to have the interesting contrast against Squall, especially since
Laguna is Squall's father xD

It defintely helped explain the events of "17 years ago" as well. It was pretty vague on things, and I liked how a few area Laguna explored you yourself explored later ^^

I thought they were interesting the first time I played the game, but every other time, then, to use your comparison Kelly, they're like the Kalm flashback in FFVII. They're interesting the first time, but after that, they just drag on and on and on. They bore me so much, I dread coming up to another flashback. I just wanna play the game!

It would have been lovely if you could skip the bloody things -__-

At first I found the dreams annoying, but on replays I actually like them. But I do like the character Laguna and I kind of wish that he could become a permanent member of the party later in the game.

And I do agree with someone above me that said that they could have implemented them in the game better.

This was probably the only problem I had with the Laguna dreams.

Personally I found them really enjoyable. They added so much to the story, and Laguna was a pretty amazing character.

I thought it was amazing running around as three different people (all of whom are kick-ass awesome) with a freaky-weird but awesome battle theme... I enjoyed the dream sequences. They really stood out for me and are one of the main parts of that game that stick out in my mind.

They seem random at first, but you eventuall see their connection to the story etc, and I think that they are awesome for that. If they'd cut them down and made them explicitly relevant to the story then we wouldn't see the personality of Laguna and his relationship to other people develop, and then it would make some of the later events harder to understand.

Agree with you there hun. Its nice to take a break from the main characters and swtiching to another party. I too was like "Huh?" when Laguna took over, but I love Laguna so I dont mind the dreams. But the whole junction bit is a pain in the arse.

The game could have done without them, however, they were key to the storyline.

So ill have to say i love them.
My favourite was Esthar war dream, the scenery was beautiful. although i did get lost:S

Loved them! I liked playing through the past storyline instead of having it told to me. I really liked going through the game with Squall and then seeing places I explored in a flashback. "Aw, I remember this!" And the battle theme was amazing.

Ohhhhh, I totally hated when they went into the dream and I had to change around all my junctions. Bahhhh!

Later on in the game I think it asked which junction from Squall's party you wanted to give to in Laguna's party. After the sequence though it messed everything up because I forgot and I went into battle with no junctions. Bahhhh! Sometimes I just sit there and curse. =p

I can't tell you how many times I didn't have my junctions correct and I went into the dream sequences with only "attack". Grr, that's the only thing that I didn't like.
I loved how it connected in with the story, and how you got to see what happened from Laguna's point of view. But, of course, when I went into the first dream sequence, I was using an online walkthrough and the writer thought it would be brilliant to tell whoever was reading that
Laguna was Squall's father
right then and there. -_-

I loved the dream sequences, I thought they really made the story fit together really well. And they were funny to boot. Plus for me it was always a time when I could either A. Level up a character/characters that are low level. Or B. To stock up on magics for my stats.

Laguna, Kira, and Ward were a great team and the 'dream' world was a great addition to the storyline. It really helped put things into perspective for me.

The Dream scenes are slightly annoying in my opinion. The junction thing and the timing (as mentioned before) are baaaaad... The characters are interesting though, but I prefer the main story line and characters.

I did not really like them that much. I wanted to see Squall most of the time and thought that Laguna and CO. werent all that special or interesting enough. I was good to get a little backstory on the events leading up to Soceress Adel's imprisonment, but I thought that the dream sequences were a little tedious.
