Dragoon Woman (?) in latest Versus trailer

So, like, anybody else notice the scene with some armour-clad person with a spear facing off against Noctis? The attire and figure makes me think it's a woman, but I can't discern much else.

One kind of wacky theory I had was that maybe it's actually Stella. A while back there was a scene of her and Noctis facing each other with swords, but that was absent from the latest trailer revealed, so maybe that concept got changed to something else?

I said the exact same thing in the discussion thread with the trailer that she could be Stella. Some others replied saying they didn't believe it and that they hoped it wasn't her but the armor did look like it was of a woman and the person inside had blonde hair or light colored hair.

Stella has been the only female character revealed so far. I could expect more than one girl to be shown in a game, so I guess it might be too early to scream "STELLA!"

Yes but there's really no one else to point fingers at....Unless versus is a sausage fest But then again it already is from what's been revealed. I hope there's more females appearing in the game but so far all we have is Stella who we know for sure has to become Noct's enemy at some point. I say it was Stella in the Ballroom with the Candlestick

Versus as a sausage fest is fine by me , but maybe she and the dragoon woman team up?

(Also, maybe I shouldn't call her dragoon anymore-watched the trailer again, and the weapon looks more like a sword than a spear )

Also, what exactly were Noctis and the woman standing on? A ship?

It looked like he and that armor lady were standing on those flying ship things that kept crashing at the beginning of the trailer. I'm guessing it's part of the climax but hoping it's not. I'm gonna take a look at that lady again. But yea, shit be blowin minds yo.

I was also wondering who the armored woman was. I was so excited about the new trailer because it showed us a lot: gameplay, graphically updated characters, and a feel of the plot. However, it left me even more confused. All I really got from it was that Noct's dad does not want him taking his place. ...All the new characters left me in a lurch, wondering if these people (the armored woman and the old man in white) were replacing the hooded blond character in white that we saw Noct getting ready to face off with.

Anyways, the armored woman is opposed to Noct...and thats the only thing I know for certain of her because with them showing so much in the trailer and us really knowing so little of the game...all you can really do is speculate about her. I don't think she's Stella...because it doesn't seem Stella's style. She seems like she would have more of a refined fighting style...and in any info you find on Versus they say her weapon of choice is a rapier...not some giant sword. However, they say that she can materialize weapons like Noct, so maybe this was another of her weapons? ...Or maybe she's possesed by the crystal or something, because isn't one of the tags from the game "The true figure is hidden in the sleep." ...but it seems like Etro was starting to wake up in what we see of the game...since Noct was asking who she was?

So I think/hope the armored woman is just another boss. I really hope she is anyways. She does look like a blond though.

Yeah after discovering that she could be a women.......I instantly assumed it was Stella.......But it isn't after Nomura did say he wouldnt show Stella in such fashion.

However I don't see her to be the main villian.......maybe another kingdom just hired her to kill Noctis.

But talking about villains looks like there will be loads in this game ......But then again I don't think I've ever seen a dragoon as a villain before,could she be a character.......It would make sense as she would probably have a different role to the rest of the party.

Like DarkShadow already mentioned, the dragoon is not Stella. She is someone else. First time I saw her I knew it was a woman,..she seems freeking awesome and will probably kick major ass..

I also love the fact there are dragoon warriors in the realistic settings and sophisticated society..
