Or at least it was for those who got their A Level January results today. What did everyone get?

I got a B in History (A2), E in English Lang & Lit (AS) and a U in ICT (AS).

I get mine tommorow. The horror of it all.

I did, however, find out that I got a B in my AS history coursework today. =D

Also, well done with your History. Shame about the others.

You do History coursework? We don't do it here.

Well, I'm working it all out and am going to resit those that I failed.

Yep, we do coursework.

Which part of the UK are you in?

Good luck with that. I failed Computing and dropped out of Physics in my first year. They were a bad choice for me. Took up History and Business instead. Stick with what you're good at, I guess.

I wish I didn't bother with A-level Physics at all. All I learned from it is that technically, you never touch another object and some interesting experiments from Quantom Physics.

That didn't actually bother me at all. I found the equations and formula-numbers-answer part easy. It was the theoretical and explaining side that just baffled me.

I'm a Mancunian from Manchester and proud of it. ^_^

I've already planned what to do. Just gonna use up most of my free time to do my ICT coursework and study, study, study. Less of a social life then, I guess.

*shrugs*

My social life is non-existent, almost.

Hate most coursework, myself. Fun doing History, but Biology write ups really get on my nerves. I'm more of an exam person.

i got mine back at the end of january

A in History and Business studies, C in Lit and U in maths.
all AS

Congrats.

EDIT:

C in History, C in Business, E in Biology.

Biology is a shame, I'm going to retake it, and might do the same with the others. I WANTED Bs, NOT Cs!

Still, exam grades aren't everything.

I'm going to be having Easter classes in ICT, least my teacher wasn't so mean when we had a talk about my grade.

I got an A in English Lit ^_^ King Lear, w00t! (AS)

... If it was Romeo and Juliet, I probably would have failed XD

That's all I've got. I've also taken Art and Theology, which don't have January exams.

Got a C in Critical thinking and an A in History

How I managed the history one, is a mystery, I do no work, fall asleep in lessons and dont revise.

Must be an adept historian

I don't know how I got a C in History, it should have been a B, even an A. Same for Business. I'm very good at both those subjects, but I was also under pressure. I also think that the poor spelling of the scribe (my handwriting is very scruffy thanks to dyspraxia) may have put me down some marks. I was also under stress. I may or may not resit all my exams.

I revised for Biology too, but at most I can only expect a D as an end grade for it. Perhaps I've just lost motivation for that subject.

I really tried revising for ICT and History. With English, you can't really revise. You've got your anthology with you and have no idea what kind of question they're going to throw at you. Now that I think about it, I wish my English and ICT results were switched.

So that'd be E for ICT and U for English. It makes a lot more sense into me because ICT is my best subject and I'm still in shock over how I got my B. Last year, the AS history exams were completely buggered up, I tell you.

Wouldn't worry too much about getting C's - better then what I got at college at the end of my time there.
Still managed to get into Uni, even though I did a Foundation Year. It wasn't ideal, but, I suppose it kinda prepared you, gave you a bit more knowledge for when you started your degree properly, so to speak.

Congrats to you all though
Things are hard at college. Keep up hard work, and have faith always in yourself x
