Doctor Who

Nice episode overall, the Sontarans are great villains. I would say about the next episode preview:
The Doctor's daughter seems dreadful, she looks like she just dropped out of the cast of Hollyoaks or something XD
I thought exactly the same. She just doesn't look the part at all. I did spot Chris from Skins as a soldier in the preview. :wacky:

I'm really looking forward to next weeks...at least now we know what the Face of Boe meant when he said- "You are not alone" and died.
That was a reference to The Master. Yana.

I thought that was a reference to The Master, being another Time Lord.

Did anyone else spot
a very brief appearance of Rose on the screen in the TARDIS when Donna was in there

It is. It might be a double meaning.
I think the face of boe meant the master AND his daughter...so could that mean that the Doctor though his daughter was dead and is re-united with her in the next episode

Spoiler tags didn't work.

But I looked into that on iPlayer
concerning Rose and found her face appear for a split second. She looked quite excited and seemed to have maybe found a way out of the parallel world!

Now for those who read the spoilers, I'll let you into a few possible theories of mine.

It's either ...

1.
She could have become a Time Lord (or Lady in this case) via what happened when she absorbed the Time Vortex and looked into the heart of the TARDIS.

2.
She found a way out of the parallel world, possibly with some technology from Torchwood maybe? It is highly possible considering she did appear in the first episode.

3.
She must have some connection to the TARDIS that allowed her to communicate with it when Donna wasn't looking. Could possibly linked to the Time Vortex absorption and looking at the heart of the TARDIS.

Those are my theories for now, but I bet Davies has something good planned for her return at the end of the series.

Yay

I wonder when the final Dalek will re-appear...
I have a theory thats been on my mind since they made they'er first appearance in the newer series. Seeing as the Cult of Skaros job is to find new ways of expanding and keeping the Dalek race alive, the next logical step for the very last Dalek in exsitance is to search out the creator, Davros, who can then start the Daleks off from scratch again (which he has done before). Its possible because Davros never really died in the original series and him being him would never allow himself to stick around during the Time-War and get obliterated never to return.
And seeing, as I've previously mentioned, that Davros is heavily rumored to be the big bad-arse to round the current sires off it seems quite likely it could be the case :P

Great episode everyone survived etc etc

The Doctor has a daughter!!!!!!!

The next episode can't come soon enough.
We always knew he has a daughter though, quite suprised she's actually alive though. Now we just need the grandaughter (whats-her-name?) to make a comeback haha :neomon:

Haven't seen the second part to the Sontaran episiode yet, must do it tomorrow via TV on Demand :\

You better see it on BBC iPlayer soon, it's only got three days left at the most before it gets taken off.

Thats the one :neomon:

I just got around to watching the second Sontaran episode, good stuff. However I'm now really intrigued about Jenny, the Doctor's Daughter. Schwing! :wacky:

Jenny is really intriguing. Here's something I dug up from Digital Spy today.

It's a case of cracking premise, lacklustre execution in this excursion to the planet Messaline. The Doctor is joined by both Donna and Martha as he is confronted with a serious case of "dad shock" after encountering a young blonde lady called Jenny. We'll spare you a full on rant about the disappointing quality of the episode (check out the full review on Digital Spy immediately after the episode has aired) and instead serve up a few spoilers (and two red herrings)...

The Doctor is "processed".

Donna refers to The Doctor's daughter Jenny as "GI Jane".

Martha falls into a bog.

The Doctor puts a gun to a man's head.

There is talk of a being called 'The Great One'.

The Hath are genetic descendants of a race known as the Haemovores.

Martha puts a fish's shoulder back in place (or perhaps in plaice?).

The Doctor doesn't need a female to spawn a daughter - he is capable of doing it all on his own.

Jenny tells The Doctor that she saw someone called Susan die in the Time War, which upsets him greatly.

After putting a stethoscope to Jenny's chest, The Doctor is surprised by what he hears.

So if you ever wanted to spoil yourself, I'd recommend Digital Spy.

Oooh it was sad this week :gasp:

I actually remembered to watch it haha although I missed the first 10 minutes so Il have to watch it again next week I think

I cried when Martha fel in the bog and that thingy rescued her and again at the end when Jenny took that bullet and I thought she was dead

I really thought he was gunna kill that bloke :wacky:

Then she came back to life and I was like :gasp:

I missed the first ten minutes too, but I thought it was a great episode. I think Jenny will return sometime in the future ^_^

Watch it on iPlayer if you missed it, I reckon it should be up by now on the BBC iPlayer website.

My, my, my! Such a good episode, too.

I loved it when
Jenny left at the end remembering what the Doctor did and said she was going to do exactly that.
Heh, it's daughter like father.

I guess you're right, Mark. I have this feeling that she will come back in the future. Now we have to wait another week for the Agatha Christie.

I know this must be me and all, but did anyone notice a woman in the trailer who looked like Cassandra (the one that possessed Rose)? Because I could've sworn it was her!

I caught it on Iplayer.

Amazing episode for showing more of the Doctor and it really seems to be setting up something big.

How about a finale with Jenny, Rose and Captain Jack all making an appearance?

Am I the only one who thought it was absolutely awful? In essence, it was a good idea but it was written in a way that makes me want to cry. They're getting repetitive now. =/
Jenny was a good idea for a character, but it'd have been far more interesting if she was actually The Doctor's biological daughter and not that crappy clone thing. And that thing when the Hath drowned... Martha's acting was laughable. And then Jenny returned. WHY?! She's only going to get shitty spin-off now. =/

I think I would have prefered her to stay dead tbqh, and shouldnt she have like changed bodies....? I liked her character though and the doctor made me just go :gasp: when she was lay in his arms....I think it kinda ruined my sad moment (of extreme blubbing) when she came back alive -__-

I still thought it was good though lol

And yes Marthas crying was abit shit....Id of been sat there howling snot an' all hahaha

I just don't think she had long enough to become that attached to the Hath. It was just a simple way of writing it out of the script and filling in a few minutes.
The whole bit with Jenny in The Doctor's arms reminded me entirely of The Master's death at the end of the last series. Again, David Tennant acted perfectly well but the rest of the cast just can't cut it, it seems. Joe Dempsie was good, but he'll always be Chris to me. I didn't mind Donna though this week, except for her stupid little rant when they blew the tunnel up at the start.

It was a pretty good episode in the end, the beginning was pretty lame (the whole Jenny being made instead of born and Time Lords able to reproduce on their own thang sucked) but that aside I enjoyed it. It's good to have the Doctor's family brought up again as it's rarely been mentioned in the past despite his Grandaughter playing a big role in the early years.

I want Jenny to return at somepoint though, maybe become part of the team for awhile. Mainly because she's hot and want to see her kick arse again but I suppose some interesting story lines can come out of her too :neomon:

Ohhhhhh scenario idea! Jenny and The Master = New Time Lord babies ;)

ok maybe not then.
