Doctor Who

Am I the only person on this world who actually doesn't want to see or hear from Rose Tyler ever again? Don't get me wrong, great character and all that but hearing her constantly being mentioned is starting to piss me off. Older Doctor Who's never clinged onto old assistants like this, move on!

I think Donna is going to be great over all tbh. Will add some more comical humor to the show. However I do feel another assistant, preferably male, is needed to help balance it out. Sick of having 'love interests' as assistants.

I'm just waiting till Jack becomes a full-on assistant for a whole series.

I highly doubt that this is going to happen, mainly because of his attachment to Torchwood, but, from what The Face of Boe suggests, it seems like he does at one point. Ahhh, but oh well, I guess I can only hold out for that

Nah I think Jack has had his time save for maybe a guest appearance or possible Torchwood cross-over.....or an Eccleston/Tennant team up like the 'Two/Three/Five Doctors' story's of old! (Possibly the only acceptable reason I'd want Rose Tyler to come back for). It would be good though, Jack was win.

I don't think Jack wants to get it on with the Doctor at all to be quite honest. I am really in love with Doctor/Rose. I'll agree that Donna will bring some humour into the show, though. So far, I'm loving her because she's funny with her lines. Loved the window part! HILARIOUS.

That window part had me in stitches :wacky: I finally watched it last night after missing it last week -_-

I didn't think much of the actual story tho, with the fat things and that stupid nanny woman but the rest was pretty good

When I saw Rose at the end tho I was like :gasp: She better not take half the series to reappear <_<

Pompeii damn good episode.

Has both the humor, mainly from Donna and also the sheer epic greatness of the Doctor. One of those episodes that really shows his majesty and also his humanity or should I say feelings.

I missed it again :gasp:

Il have to watch it next Friday again -_- I totally blame my tv for not having a signal and I couldnt be arsed retuning it

Catherine Tate was shit again in this weeks. It was a pretty fresh story at least (not by Russell T. Davies, haha), albeit slightly weak.
The outside shots of Vesuvius clearly weren't Vesuvius though. :wacky:

Good grief ain't you a nit picker.

I think it was a rather good albeit a sort of tad rushed in some ways episode.

Looking forward to the next one with the Ood. How many Os is it?

The Ood one is an episode that both David and Catherine said was one of their favourites on the Jonathan Ross show. I actually thought Donna was better this week, loved the whole, "You fight back with a water pistol ... I BLOODY LOVE YOU!"

Top stuff.

Watched the third episode a couple of hours ago.

Now I loved this because I've never actually seen the episode in series two with the Ood in it. I felt so sad because
the Ood were actually slaves and being whipped
. I really loved Donna's reaction to it.

The
Ood's song
made me feel so sorry for them. I was actually cheering them to
kill those idiots that enslaved them
!

But what gets me is when the lead Ood said,
"Every song must end."
Then you hear the Doomsday theme song playing in the background. Why do I have a bad feeling about Rose and that something terrible will happen to her?

God, I wish that the next episode would have aired on BBC Three (like Heroes does) because the preview looks good. The next episode is a must for Martha fans ... she goes all general lol. :P

I missed it AGAIN so I will be watching it next Friday....oh shit...no I won't I'm

I missed it AGAIN so I will be watching it next Friday....oh shit...no I won't I'm off out. Fail...Il have to get roud that somehow

I watched last weeks last night tho which was good, the end was so sad when the whole place was getting destroyed and they left those guys behind and Donna made him go back for them, I was like ;_;

ah win, il get onto that. The internet is so good. Ihope I don't forget like I normally do

I know this is off topic, but my IT teacher told me something about iPlayer. More people watch iPlayer than the actual TV on the BBC channels themselves. I just find that ... totally ironic.

My guess is that it has something to do with The Doctor being lost in space, which may mean an end for Doctor #10. D:

I'm interested in all this jazz about the bees disappearing though...

Anyone notice they or at least he is mentioning this shadow council the rules the galaxies a lot?

I bet thats going to come up later on, remember all the Saxon stuff through the last series?

Well then it's about time they did something with it then.

Anyone notice anything else cropping up a lot though it is too early to tell I guess.

People with good memories watch every detail and see what comes up a lot. Though considering the fact that the Doctor Who writers actually are quality I doubt they would try the same things over again they wouldn't recycle old characters and designs etc like the FFs do.

*is blatantly ignoring the current series so far*
