Do we need a walkthrough for FFVIII?

I was making one for FFK, but it's been hacked by some guy named CagS or somethin'. But should I make one?
 
yeah like sephirothalpha sed there are plenty of guides available out there. But cant hurt to have another one huh?
 
It'd be good if you could make one, you'd be helping others. Either way, it's up to you.
 
But It'd be MY walkthrough. I also intend to make one for FFVII and FFT. I don't know about FFTA yet though.
 
I dissagree.. As long as you know what your doing, the guide wont take ages. If you click the link in my sig, theres the guides I've written.. I know they arent that long, but they only took me about 3 hours each, because I knew my info and what I was doing. Easy stuff. Cloud, if you want, then go for it. And dont worry about the time issue unless your going to replay the game and do absolutely everything.. Which is kinda what you should do because if your just going to write a plain walkthrough, you'd be wasting your time, because since the game is so old, people have already written guides that include just about everything. You need to think of something to offer that other guides don't.

It would be better to just make one for ffvii and fft.....there is not one magazine on the market anymore for ffvii at least the original one....sold out and my friend has one somewhere in his house, though no one knows where it is....you can make money too if you wanted to make a strategy guide and charge ppl to read your guide LOL:P
 
I could help you Squizzgar. Though youve probably written tons of'em, Im only a master of Final Fantasy VIII. Dont know if Id be much help to you, but Im really good at "free-time" stuff like getting SOME useful cards, Finding all the final weapon items, i know where all the GFs are, I have a strategy for Omega weapon ( dont know if thatll help) i know how to get DoomTrain... You dont have to pay me. I like to help people who have good intensions. So, i thought id help you out. Itd be pretty tough work alone, but i have a little bit of info that might help your lead out some.

I wish I had a walkthrough for VIII, but it is possilbe to beat it without one. I ended up missing a few GFs and it took me a long time to beat it I thought it was never going to end

GFs have a TON of great junctions and abilities that come in handy like:
Str-j, HP-j, and so on with the junctions. And you in fact want ALL the abilities like all the refining abilities. PM me or Squizzgar if you need help finding all the GFs.
 
I'd say that if you want to make one, go for it. I know I've thought of the idea many times for games like FFVII, FFIX, and FFX just for personal use in the future and to help others out in 100% Completion or jsut generally beating the game. More power to ya man.
 
I could also help you write FAQs ( never did one of those either) but, you teach me Ill help you... we'll learn from each other!
