Yeah, of course they do. You just randomly get shot and die despite being well hidden from enemy fire or on an RPG an enemy just will not let you hit it despite having all the necessary stats. I know I'm not alone on this. I understand that games have gotten harder over the years and that playing games on harder difficulties results in much more savage AIs but have you ever been playing a game and an enemy does something that defies the programming? Just kinda like the game is going around certain aspects of the landscape to seal your doom. It fuckin' pisses me off. I've heard people say "You're just mad 'cause you lost." Bullshit. I KNOW I'm a sore loser. But I know that there's something funny going on.

I'm convinced they all cheat, in every fucking game Ive ever played the AI has always frustrated me with its cheating ways. :hmph:

On Fighters they have perfect timing.
On RTSes they get infinite resources.
On FPSes they wallhack/no spreadfire/ultimate grenade toss.
On RPGs they stat hax.

Im convinced :mokken:

EDIT: Has anyone tried playin Worms on hard? 8(

AIs can be overpowered in some games but in others they're just stupid. The only thing that I would consider really cheap about an AI is that compared to a human player they literally have no reaction since they're not human. In a FPS they will shoot you instantly when you come into their field of vision. In fighting games they know what move you will pull off the second you input the command and will likely counter it with their own. At least woth a human player odds are if they seem like this, either they got lucky or you're just predictable.

I remember I was trying to stack up trophies for Unreal Tournament 3 on PS3, and I had to go through the campaign on the hardest difficulty to get most of them. The AI has perfect accuracy and will start firing the split second you come around a corner and you're in sight (even if it's just a hand that's exposed). Most high difficulty games just have bullshit AI that makes you lose interest quick. :hmph:

On a side note (and hopefully not to derail the thread), there's a such thing as hacking a game on a console platform. This video is a ton of fun to watch (and a treat to you CoD fans). :lew:

Omg, i think Tekken is when I get most irritated by them.... iyou block, they hit you anyway, they block and you cant fucking touch them

They never seem to hit a wall in racing games either unless you force them :hmph:

Yes, I believe they do as well. Take any fighting game...all those uncounterable and unblockable combos you get stuck in. They infuriate me to no end. Sometimes, it even feels like some first person shooters have godlike AI.

Yes, they do. :mokken:

I'm convinced the Director on Left 4 Dead is an evil spawn of Satan. Spawning tanks in closets and the like. And I'm also convinced that the AI characters work against you as well. They quite enjoy leaving you to die. :hmph:

And don't get me started on Mario. >.>

Well yes and no. In fighting games like King of Fighters they do cheat. Ever fight Rugal in King of fighters 94? He is fucking impossible no joke. I only managed to beat him once xD. In shooters well not really. Halo for example on legendary got much more easy. In Halo Reach it got so much harder but not harder than halo 2. Still I find a way around it all the time. It is just the fighters :gasp: Tekken is so frustrating also along with Dead or Alive >.>

Left 4 Dead is actually a good example of what I mean in Versus. Whoever has the most AI on their team has the advantage since

1. AI as I said can spot you before you even spot them.
2. Even if you capture someone they'll usually kill you before you can even give any damage.
3. AI is also more accurate as well.
4. AI will also stick close to the human player and actually work as a team unlike some human players.

They very well cheat. They make it sport to trump the imperfect player at every turn.

They can perform complex combos in an instant. (Jin's 10 hit combo in Tekken!? :rage: )

In SSBM and SSBB, the AI seems intent on teaming up against the player NO MATTER WHAT. Even when they are on your team, they want to fling crates your way, knowing fully well that it may be a bomb a certain percentage of the time. And in free for all, they all seem to want to go all out on you, sometimes totally disregarding their fellow combatants!! :rage:

Bottom line, they cheat all the time. :sad3:

Ugh, I just remembered Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3. Fighting Lvl. 99 Omega Shenron was bullshit. I had to be incredibly cheap and use a Majin Vegeta/Senzu Bean strategy that just barely worked. All he ever did was throw Ki blasts at me and use the warp ability over and over again. It took me six months to beat him.
