Did you or did you not?

Did you read the rules before posting when you first signed up?

Yeah, I actually read the rules even before I joined, and then I re-read them after I had joined, and I spent probably about an hour learning how to navigate the site which isn't really that difficult. I always read the rules before joining because I hate breaking the rules.

Haha, nah. I didn't read the rules prior to signing up. I assume that common sense should be enough to keep me from getting in too much trouble. ;)

Well, I guess you would count for my reading them. ^^ I skim through just to see if its the normal typah rules, or if they have somethin' new or strict, or if their very lenient. If they have basically no rules, then I'm usually not that active there.

I read the rules. :)

Since I run my own community, I know how frustrating it can be when members totally ignore rules. Normally they screw up, you warn them, they ask why, you point them to the rules, they don't bother reading. :P

But that's life, eh?

Yes, I read the rules.
But I didn't follow the ever popular "search for threads that already exists before opening a new thread" rule. ^_^

Most forums = Same Rules

Some forums have additional rules or words/contexts you aren't allowed to use. However, like my typical self, I said "screw it" and went straight onto posting. I checked them later to see if I could do something, though. =D

So, no.

I never read them because as people have said if you have a common sense of what to do on a forum you should be fine, however I admit on the first forum I joined I screwed up alot because I was so new to it and all.
