well you see it's like this, recently i have been playing (and ruling at) FFX and i decided that the one hit kills for a couple of the fiends in Omega dungeon made me about ready to kill Omega weapon, and yes Ultima weapon was extremely easy i did him some time ago, but any way i approached Omega weapon and challenged him as you do.

thinking to myself "Oh Crap he might be fairly powerful" (looked at health gauge in walk through) i summoned my Anima (biggest mistake in my life)
anyway i used Grand summon to bring him to the playing field, and 2 Oblivions later the victory music was playing. 500k+ damage each for my Oblivions.

yes i am complaining at the ease of this battle, so does anyone else share my anger at Omega weapon being a big stupid chicken wuss who think's he is stronger than he ACTUALLY is?????????

At first, yeah, I felt the same way, andI wasn't using any summons. But then, BAM! out comes Nova. I haven't challenged him since, but I have been meaning too. But, in answer to your question, no, i haven't

Nope, I didn't. I read through a walkthrough ahead of time, decided I was way stronger, then pwned him. I was mad that he didn't give me a good break damage limit weapon though, he gave me some lance for Kimahri.

Besides, if it's a challenge you want there's always the monster arena.

Actually no, I encountered both Omega and Ultima weapons quite by accident. I knew they were in the Omega ruins, didn't quite know where, and suddenly I'm fighting the weaker one xD

I beat both battles in less than 3 turns. My Magus Sisters were at God-like strength by then.

Anima is a ridiculously powerful summon, it would be worrisome if you had a hard time beating enemies with it.

I only beat Omega and Ultima once, a long time ago, so my memory is fuzzy, but I had a fairly easy time. Not that I was "owning" them or anything, but I wasn't getting fast game overs.

The monster in that dungeon that scared me was that thing in the fake treasure chest. Now those were hard random encounters O_O

I ran into them too early aswel, it took me an absolute age to even kill Ultima weapon. I thought I 'd try my chances with Omega anyway when I got there and he just kicked my behind

It actually took me quite a while to kill him when I eventually did it though, so at he time, no he wasn't a bloody push over. Altho I know Id annhiliate him now if Id of left him alot later than I did

The NTSC version of Omega Weapon only has a mere 1000000 Hp. The PAL version has 10000000. Regardless, they are both easy.

it took me awhile to kill him too. i tried to beat him without summoing any aeons, and he whipped my butt. so if u want a challenge, dnt summon and he will b much harder boss. hes only easy if u cheat and use ur pumped up aeons. and it wasnt b/c my characters were low-leveled either. yuna had almost every spell and had over 6000 hp and so did tidus and auron.

It was really disappointing to say the least, considering the fact that no matter what level you were in the other Final Fantasies, that Omega and Ultima were faggots.

I only ever train to the point where I can comfortably beat the locals, as to be sure not to overwhelm any potential designated "challenge" to that area.

As such, I failed to see Omega to be per sé easy. I walked into the fight with about 7000 HP on average, and found him hitting me for a good 2-3k per turn, which isn't too bad. He has a fair amount of HP too, so I took quite a bit of punishment before finally delivering the final blow.

I also don't use Aeons in boss battles. They end up becoming far too strong for the most part, and generally ruin fights for me. The only occasions I've used the Aeons were either for fun, fighting Belgamine, or just for the sake of testing them out.

The first time you vs omega its like a shadow of him or sumthing yeh i had raised like so many levs and i walked into him and i shit my self so i used zanamoto cause i didnt want to lose all i have done so then i saved and i keeped goin and i ran into him again for the 2nd time and i killed him in like 2 mins just with attacks.
I was like wtf!! his so weak >.<

When I first got to the Omega ruins, my characters were ridiculously weak, and the normal fiends were killing them off. However I decided it was a great place to train up, so I got it to the was where I was only needing one or two hits each with my Yuna black magic. I stumbled upon the ultima weapon by accident, but then I decided to go back and train elsewhere (somewhere a bit brighter) then came back to explore the ruins properly. By this time I'd got a few "no encounter" pieces of armour, so I equipped them to search the ruins properly. The only things I really had trouble with were those things that were a bluish version of a Marlboro.

I did get killed a couple of times by the omega weapon, but then I summoned my Magus sisters and killed it. Only problem then was that I had forgotten to Lancet Nova out of it...

No it's not a problem. The strongest fiends are found in 3 places: Sin, Monster Arena and Omega Dungeon. If you can one hit kill fiends in Omega Dungeon, then of course Omega Weapon is easy.
