[h=1]Dying Light from Techland announced, features full day-night cycle[/h] Dying Light has been announced by Warner Bros. and its first-person, action survival horror title from Techland.

dying-light-header.jpg

It contains a day-night cycle set in a vast open world where players will scavenge for supplies in their once urban environment, while at night, such activities become even more dangerous.

Crafting weapons will be part of your ability to defend yourself against the growing infected population – where an outbreak has affected the living, but at night they become for aggressive.

Predators only appear after sundown, and players must use everything in their power to survive until the morning’s first light.
Dying Light will be available in 2014 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Shots are below, and IGN has posted a video on its YouTube channel, which is embedded below.

I wonder how any assets left over from, or straight out of, both Dead Island and Riptide are being used for this.

And the concept sounds more like Mirror's Edge with zombies.

Part of me likes this for a more awesome zombie game, but another part dreads it being shitty online like Dead Island.I'll wait till E3 and see what they showcase before I get hyped on it, I don't wanna get disappointed again :mokken:

The last two games of theirs have been fun to play, but for $50 and maybe 2 hours of main quest gameplay and constant glitches with connection issues... I think I've learned my lesson this time and I'll be skipping out on their next game until it hits the bargain bins, because that's all they really seem to be worth. It's disappointing though. I wish there were more decent zombie games out there :(
