I have been thinking how do the summoners that summon the dark aeons get the dark aeons.
Would they have to go to youyevon or somthing cause
at the end when you fight him
he turns them into dark aeons:holyshit::holyshit:

It's all mixed up in Bevelle and Yevon- it's only Yevonites who can summon the Dark Aeons I think

For Yu Yevon its pretty simple and easy to understand,
he posseses your summons and therefore they become in their dark form
. Thats the only explanation I figured.

As for Dark Summoners I don't have clue how they do it. Probably they learned some dark arts and/or they Aeons were all corrupted with Darkness, or maybe the faiths used had dark personality at the contraty of the main Aeons

My theory was that the Dark Aeon summoners were dead Summoner's who were unsent thus became Evil, and when the summoner goes evil so do the Aeon's. well thats my theory,

I always think that the Dark Aeons are still to an extent possessed by Yu-Yevon or a similar force as they still have that red blob thing. Damn this game leaves alot of loose-ends.

I think each Aeon reflects the personality of the summoner. If, like Yuna, your heart is pure your Aeons will be influenced by it. So with the Yevonites, with the corruption surrounding all of Yevon, the darkness and ill-will the evil inside is shown through their Aeons aswell. The only thing blowing this theory out the window is Seymour's Anima, but she's a pretty dark Aeon anyway, plus
his mother is the fayth of Anima, so the connection between the two could play a part

Belegemine(sp?) is an unsent, but her Aeons aren't "dark" same when you fight Lulu's old Summoner's Yojimbo. So I don't think them behind unsent plays a part.

true, the fact that a summoner is unsent has nothing to do with the state of their Aeons. the thing that turns an Aeon dark is if the unsent summoner begins to hate humanity, as was explained that unsent normally do.

once they begin to hate humanity, then they become corrupted and so do their Aeons...if you follow the rules of the stort, thats how it works.

I had always just assumed that they were entrusted with the care of that particular Aeon, by default, as a Yevonite. Possibly due to the corrupt intentions behind the summoning of those Aeons, they became corrupt themselves and were christened the Dark Aeons.

I noticed how some of the summoners seems simialr to the aeons. To summon the Mugus Sisters you need only one summoner to summon all three, but in the Mushroom Rock Road there are three summoners. One very little (simialar to the Sandy) one tall and thin (Cindy) and a fat one (Mindy). Then they disappear and the Dark Magus Sisters appear.
However, we never saw who summoned Dark Bahamut and Dark Anima...

*the names of Magus Sisters I provided could be wrong, correct me if that;s the case
