Why do MMO's have idiots that call everybody noobs? Do they have an identiy crisis?

WoW is one of the worst for it I believe, never be an Orc, people noob you left right and center.
So, to spite, them, I Night Elved those ass holes...
 
Yeah, they are so annoying, I once had a level 1 guy calling me a noob. I mean, ffs do they not have anything better to do with their life than to call everyone more powerful than them a noob?
 
I dont bother with the whole thing. i dont call people noobs...well except those who think they outmatch me on piano in real life in school...haha. I really dont mind the word noob its when your'e on online games and someone comes out wi "aww you're a dick/[other hardcore word]" thats when i get annoyed
 
Heck, it's an insult in gaming for all types of things. I just hate it when illiterate kids who probably shouldn't even be playing the game use it, etc. It's ok to call cheating scumbags whatever you want, but when you're just playing the game normally and someone calls you a noob for no damn reason except to make themselves feel better, wtf? One reason why I dislike MMORPGs.
 
It so pisses me off. High rankers call you a noob when you start a new character. Its like "No, I have a level 60 Paladin, but wanted a change!"

Im sick of it, I laugh when people who have no idea call me a noob. Its pot calling kettle!

Grow up and move out of your mums basement you 30 year old freak rofl.
 
Haha I think that in most online games where you are not allowed to use coarse language, the word "n00b" has gradually taken the role as the universal cuss word.
So it is likely because they don't dare to call you anything worse, in fear of retribution (their account being shut down, their mother grounding them, etc, etc)

I tend not to pay too much attention to them though. Real life is full of dicks too, so I never really expected that only the nice people would play mmo's.

S'not really a problem. I always tell them they're fucking prats, and should jump out in front of a train.

It's especially fun when you have friends and gang the shit out of them on Halo. xD

but judging by you're posts, its something you call someone who's lower than you on a game to insult them?

yeah, sounds stupid. People who call others noobs in games, are noobs in real life. Sucks for them.

NOOB= to be new at something, completely inexperienced and sometimes a nuisance for experience players. Those who are beyond the nOOb level enjoy butchering nOObs in Online Games. Other synonyms to the word "noob" are: newb, newbie, novice, freshmen/women, etc

Good NooB: Noob with a future, might become a great player.

Bad Noob: Noob who deserves to be shot down with a Rocket Launcher for having a big mouth and talking all big while not even learning the basics.
 
I dont like the fact you refer to women as noobs. Its completely sexist and men are complete noobs also.
